Hello all, am finally in labour - waters broke at 5am this morning, went into triage at 8am then immediately transferred to labour suite as meconium in waters. Cx now painful but loving the gas and air. LO taking her time but heartbeat fine , next examination 1am. It's going to be a long night but can't wait to finally meet LO. DH being fab.

• clean kitchen cupboard doors
• set up Time Capsule with DH's laptop (this weekend)

Yay Comtessa! Hope she is safely here by now.

Didn't go to town in the end, I went to my friend's for the candle party and came home around 10pm. The thought of a full night's uninterrupted sleep was winning over going out. I was willing to be persuaded but then his messages took on a weird tone and he was pushing to come over here instead so I just said no I was going to bed.

Also lazy sunday, got up, had breakfast, had an uninterrupted bath and not much else. dc now back and fighting so that's the end of the peace and quiet!

It's only taken me about half an hour but pics of my pulled apart shell of a house are on my profile (hopefully).

Distinct lack of floors/walls/ceilings.. The one thing you see which will still be there in the finished product are the windows. Nothing else!

JKS, I am envious of you Sunday morning newspaper sessions. Which paper(s) do you get? Do you get them delivered?

We made it to the pub for lunch and back again, though DS was a bit grumpy. He's licked the icing off a couple of cupcakes, but I'll need to think about tea in a minute.

Anon DH is a good cook. He did beef wellington for New Year a couple of years ago. He did use pancakes and it was absolutely delicious .

No list today. Throat holding out ok with painkillers, so think it may not be tonsillitis. Family all together in living room with fire on. It feels like a perfect Sunday.

Thanks all for support. Anya Louise Grace Petersen born by EMCS this morning at 7.12am weighing 11lbs 8oz. DH had first cuddles as I was done in so they bonded really well which was lovely. Anya latched on and fed within an hour of birth and no concerns yet with feeding. DH and I so in love with our baby daughter and can't believe she's really ours. Totally worth all the hard work and long latent labour. Exhausted and will be in hospital until Tuesday. Thanks for the support in all the labour false alarms. - turns out was so unlikely I could have given birth naturally and if have DC2 will be referred for ELCS.
