What do you have on the wall above your bed?

We've just redecorated our bedroom and I have no idea what to put on the wall above the bed. We've painted the walls a bluey green and on the other walls we have quite traditional artwork in gold frames which really goes well with the wall colour but the bed is chrome and I don't know what to do with the wall above. It's a pretty big space.

Any ideas?

I've got a very large but very simple copy of a beautiful Henri Matisse print, framed and secure (I think!)

My room is very neutral so I went with a very bright Gustav Klimt print. I try to have a couple of cushions or a throw in a colour that is in the print.
I like the look.

An abstract design on canvas - it compliments the furnishings of our room and is light enough not to kill us should it fall down!

I have a shelf for evening bags which displays them nicely and one of a set of illustrations I have around the house.

Nothing, because I've been too lazy to get the print that should be there framed!

A flamingo

A Warhol print of Liz Taylor.

A huge framed poster of 40 different rare and historical roses. It sounds mad but it's beautiful and I never tire of seeing it.

A painting completed by my partner. It depicts the first evening of our first holiday together, right down to the knocked-over patio chair and empty champagne bottles. It also includes us dancing inside as viewed via the patio doors. 😊

cupboards. But between them and the bed I’ve got a length of string and my favourite photos pegged to them with wee Christmas card pegs like bunting without the icky floral triangles.

A quilt. If it falls off at least it won't kill me.

A cobweb, saw it when I came up to bed.

CBA tonight, I’ll clear it tomorrow.

But I think I'd rather have Trez1510's overbed art and risk death.

Nothing, I don't spend time looking at the wall above my bed. I've got a couple of little paintings I like on walls where I can see them when I'm in bed.

Nothing, used to have a clock but I prefer a minimalistic approach in the bedroom now.

We have a star with lights on it. Very subtle but eye catching.

I thought it was bad Feng Shui to have anything hung above the bed. So I have nothing. I'd have two largish "statement" bedside lamps instead.
