Where on Earth can I find good quality Sofas

Just as the subject said! I've heard horrible stories about DFS, SCS and now I'm hearing stories about Sofology who I was gonna go with and I just don't know what else to do. Where can I find good quality sofas that will last and won't break/wear out after a few months?

Oh for the days of Multiyork. We went from theirs to M & S. There's no comparison. The M & S one had strange plastic stuff under the base, the Multiyork had hessian. The springs sagged on the M & S one within a few years, and eventually gave way. The Multiyork one is 20+ years old and still going strong.

We've gone for John Lewis this time, it's better than M & S but nothing compared to the lovely solidity of the Multiyork.

I have four from Multiyork, all almost twenty years old. The frames and cushions are still good although I have had them reupholstered.

When I need to change them which will probably be in the next few years I will look at Duresta or Tetrad.

Laura Ashley in Westfield W12 stopped trading but are now in the Next shop - worth checking if you are near a next.

We bought ours from furniture village. They're Natuzzi, but the expensive ones. We've had a few issues with the electric recline buttons failing but they were repaired under warranty.
They are very good quality leather and 6 years down the line, still look very new.
