What would you do with these bloody plugs?

So I have the french style console tables so I can’t have a modern shelf or anything,and if I put a tv cabinet there it will be too much. What’s your thoughts?

I love your sofa, the rest is very dated for my taste, but that's your style and you like it, so don't change unless you want too.
You have obviously spent a lot of time and money decorating your home, I would hate you to feel you should change it if you like that style.

OP - the critics on this thread aren't showing you their houses so I wouldn't be asking them what they think is dated. You don't want to follow the latest style trends if they're not your style^.

Honest opinion is this better or is the unit too high? I might order the lower one if you all think it’s too high I’m undecided

Is the TV still attached to the wall? If you are happy with the TV at that height then it's not too tall at all.

Have to say OP you have been very gracious. You obviously really care for your house and it has a cohesive style.

Hello - looks good and well balanced with TV size in second pic; the only thing I'm wondering in first pic re height of new unit is whether you can see yourselves reflected in it while watching TV which might be a bit weird? Or not if it doesn't bother you.

How about something like this?

I think grouping your seating and adding a coffee table would help, as well as removing the consoles.

@ PerfidiousAlbion I don’t have the consoles anymore I got this unit instead but I do think I prob too high was thinking of this one instead see attached ? I can’t really put my seating area anywhere else x
