Show me your living room window ledges

Looking for inspiration as to what to put on a long window ledge in the living room. There are only so many candlesticks and flowering plants one can use. What interesting art can I put on there? Or what else? I look in the shops and just see a pile of wank. What is tasteful and timeless?

I have no windowsills (glass box house basically) and its an absolute pita as I have nowhere to put birthday cards.

I have plants at either end, mostly orchids, sometimes photos & a case of sweet pea in summer & supermarket flowers occasionally in winter

I have a small lamp and candles. Also a cat most of the time.
