Cod what a smashing idea! I think it's bensmum3 who you are referring to - the 14 hour train journey?

flashingnose · 24/03/2005 09:07

What a great idea - picture cod with batman mask (to retain air of mystery) handing over bag of choc chip cookies at Salisbury station

Hulababy · 24/03/2005 09:11

Fab idea. Do we know where the journey will pass through?

motherinferior · 24/03/2005 09:12

That is soooo thrilling. JUST like the railway children. Are you going to rip your red petticoat up to be a flag too?

bensmum3 · 24/03/2005 10:40

Oh wow! I think I'd be more excited than the children. I will find out the route we are taking (Mallaig in Scotland to Bodmin in cornwall). We are travelling on Friday 15th April and Wednesday 20th April .

Hulababy · 24/03/2005 10:41

Find out what stations you pass through, and what times

ThomCat · 24/03/2005 10:52

LOL, what a great idea!

Well I may be able to do Bristol, depending on time and whether I'm working or not and stuff.

Dh reckons it goes through Glasgow, Carlisle, Birmingham, Bristol, and stops at loads of stations in between, although he wasn't sure which (he did the same journey once). I tried looking at the rail websites to see where it stopped but it only tells you where you have to change trains.

It will be like a mobile mumsnet meetup!!
