Surgery abroad (formeclinic) & Europesurgry

Hi guys I'm hoping some people out there may have some advice I am looking to get two procedures done (for myself) now i feel I am in the right place in my life to have something done for me for once.

So I've taken some advice for some other mummy's I know have traveled to have things done which seems to be becoming more popular because the price is far more reasonable here not compromising on care just cost

So advice on if anyone has been to either of these clients forme clinic in Prague Czech republic and europesurgrys Poland

I've contacted both and has advice of different consultants views sent photos and have done so much research, I just wanted to find a fresher view

Poland advices that you need to stay in Poland 5 days post surgery
Prague is 1 or 2 nights after surg
Clearly coming home sooner would be better however I wanted to see how long other people stayed ? And how they found there treatment

I thank you in advance for any responses

Personally, I would stay the the recommended days instead of rushing home.
If you could have a friend to accompany you that would be even better.

ALY44 · 12/05/2018 20:37

Haven't been to any of those clinics in particular but did use one in Birmingham. I'd say it depends on the surgery.

I am in Scotland, flew down to Birmingham the morning of the procedure stayed one night and flew home next day.

It was a breast lift with implants

MummaL24 · 12/05/2018 21:22

I'm having rhinoplasty (closed) and breast implants having surgery Friday will fly home Sunday I hope, Prague seems the way forward as I've read some bad reviews on Poland for surgery x

Hi guys. I am just about one month post op of my tummy tuck at Forme clinic in Prague. I could not choose better. I flew from UK. Got transfer from the airport. Nice welcome at reception and my surgeon dr. Benes was amazing. We had nice talk where he explained everything in detail. I stayed about 2 nights and went back home. Everything heals perfectly. Still can not do any exercise- must wait little longer. But i love the result. The scar is under my briefs so not visible at all. Great result with a care.

MummaL24 · 24/05/2018 14:06

Thank you so much for posting I am booked with forme for rhinoplasty in August they've been so helpful and I feel like finding dr vasek is a god send he really does seem brilliant and I am so excited, I am going to return again in December for breasts with dr hayza I wanted both at the same time but hayza is away on holiday during August and I only get term time off work

Where did you end up staying I've booked flights but not sorted hotel yet ? X

I agree with you that they have very friendly and helpful staff. It is great when you arrive and they behave this way what makes you feel even more welcome. I see you will be flying twice. But good is that the tickets are quite cheap and Prague not far. I stayed at the apartment in the same building where is Forme. But i remember also i was looking at hotel Amarilis what is very close. Is best to ask i am sure they will give you advice. They helped me with mine. So fingers crossed and give us update:-)

Holly333 · 22/06/2018 08:29

Hi girls. I had skype consultation with dr.Hyza yesterday. Must say it took me time to send the application. But he exactly knew what i want and was very supportive. So i am booked with Forme clinic for September - have good feeling about it. Please write down as many info as you can, i wanna know everything.

MummaL24 · 22/06/2018 14:18

Holly333 · 26/06/2018 09:39

So your rhinoplasty is close. How you dealing with it, i mean are u nervous? I will have breast lift. The skype was great, i like you have options these days(and it was even for free:-)). I told dr. Hyza what exactly i am expecting and he told me choices and showed me how it will look like after and i am pleased. Wanna keep my size i am kind of happy with it just need them little bit up:-)

lennonw · 10/07/2018 15:12

Holly333... I sent you a message asking about your Skype consultation... I am waiting to schedule :-)

legolimb · 10/07/2018 15:21

Is it really so much cheaper to do this abroad?

I had a closed rhinoplasty privately here in the UK and I didn't think it was overly expensive taking into account the pre and post OP appointments etc.

I would not have wanted to fly two days post op. I had had enough by the time I was driven home by DH the following day. Which was only 20 minutes in the car.

MummaL24 · 11/07/2018 22:04

Oh god was it really that bad???

All I've done is research research and watched YouTube videos of people post op etc

So basically my neighbour is from Prague and she recommended them I have found a surgeon who specailing in face surgery's I litually can not find anyone anywhere who has a bad thing to say or who has had a bad experience with him the worst I've read is that there results was unrealistic and his results was correct to what can and can not be achieved.

I am going to do a video and prob post it on you tube of the whole process myself so there are more people can get the information they need I'm not saying everywhere abroad is good but I do feel completely confident with where I have chosen and I also know a few mums who have also been there since bringing it up at school

So closed rhinoplasty here is advertised at starting at 3.500 infact it starts at £5000 and depending on where you go company wise can be up to £9000, Harley street quoted me £7300 for closed. Yet there websites say less same with Mia

Prague is £1850 massive difference considering flights are under £100 and you can have an apartment to yourself to recover in discounted with them also

It would be easier to stay here in some respects but ultimately now I'm traveling because I have found a surgeon I want and the price is great which ofcourse makes it a million times better

I'm 3 weeks off this time in three weeks it will be done and I'll be ok a flight home 😂

For me it was worth to travel. I think i saved up to 1000. The tickets to Prague are cheap especially if you buy them earlier. And the accommodation in Prague is also for affordable price. As MummaL24 wrote they can help you with it for better price. Even the consultation at Forme clinic is free(some clinic charge hundreds) And what is the best the care and result is still amazing. Would for sure travel again.

Mum353 · 24/07/2018 07:49

When is your rhino. I booked myself at Forme clinic for rhinoplasty in October. My surgeon will be also dr. Vasek. Everything is pretty organized by Dominika so i hope it will go well. She helped me with accommodation so i will stay close to the clinic after the surgery for couple of nights. Can not wait for my new nose, i hate my profile:-(

MummaL24 · 24/07/2018 08:04

Hey, mine is in just under two weeks 6th August, I spoke to Dominica too but mainly Sabrina she was amazing I've had to many silly little questions to ask and they've been amazing at getting back to me, also arranged the taxi for my flights to collect us, we are staying in the Prague apartments which is in the same building as the hospital, I booked a studio and they gave me discount because of going with Formé, really helpful, I fly out Sunday have op Monday fly home Tuesday night I will keep you updated I'm also going to YouTube blog it as I don't feel there are enough vids out there when people have traveled abroad , me to hate my profile I am having closed rhino what are you having? X

One thing I will say is book your flights are nearer you get the more they go up I stupidly left it too late I couldnof got my return flight for £45 and ended up paying £112 pp because I left it so late and they didn't drop again

Oh my gosh, wouldn't flying right after nasal surgery be horrifically painful? I get horrid sinus pressure when the plane is ascending and descending; I can't imagine that while recovering from recent surgery on my nose. Whatever about travelling after other surgery (which definitely wouldn't be my choice personally, air travel a few days after nose surgery seems like asking for trouble and pain.

MummaL24 · 30/07/2018 19:26

It's a day after and it's a very short flight it's only 1hour so I'm sure I can handle an hour I've got people traveling with me the sooner I get home the better for me

OP posts:
Mum353 · 03/08/2018 08:44

I have also closed one. Same like you had so many questions and still have. Sometimes i just contact them for silly things but Dominica is always so nice. They are so patient, probably there is many people like us. I am gonna get also taxi transfer from the Airport. I have very good feeling about everything so fingers crossed for your surgery on Monday. And will watch your You Tube for sure.

MummaL24 · 03/08/2018 09:10

Gongrats to your new nose. Is it painful, how is the healing going. Are you still in Prague. It must be great for you to be over - just enjoying your nose now. For me still 2 months to wait, but i am excited now.

MummaL24 · 08/08/2018 11:39

No pain at all just congestion like you have a cold, only advice I can give is ice and ice I iced every hour to keep swelling down only time I stoped icing was for my flight home last night (which by the way I did not have any pain from landing taking off ) just those few hours without icing have caused a bit of bruising to come out but I'm home slept well and feel absolutely fine only thing that was uncomfortable was the whole airport staring at you like you had been beaten up 😂

But it really wasn't a big deal I wasn't even nursvous before the op they made me feel so safe so comfortable and so happy and I'm so so pleased with the after op photos can't wait to have cast off in a week and see it fully

I would return for surgery there again in the future I had such a further health check before op too and the nurses and docotors really looked after me I have to say the care was so much better then you get here in the uk.

Xx
