Hi guys I'm hoping some people out there may have some advice I am looking to get two procedures done (for myself) now i feel I am in the right place in my life to have something done for me for once.

So I've taken some advice for some other mummy's I know have traveled to have things done which seems to be becoming more popular because the price is far more reasonable here not compromising on care just cost

So advice on if anyone has been to either of these clients forme clinic in Prague Czech republic and europesurgrys Poland

I've contacted both and has advice of different consultants views sent photos and have done so much research, I just wanted to find a fresher view

Poland advices that you need to stay in Poland 5 days post surgery
Prague is 1 or 2 nights after surg
Clearly coming home sooner would be better however I wanted to see how long other people stayed ? And how they found there treatment

I thank you in advance for any responses

I just wanted to add something because this thread is so specific! I'm surprised I found it.

I had a septo-rhinoplasty in June 2017 with Dr Vasek at Forme Clinic and I'm really happy with the results. It is sooo much cheaper than the UK and the aftercare was really good.

I stayed in a hotel for like 5 days after and my mum looked after me. I was really nervous but you'll be fine :)

Hi cafesandbookshop. Can I ask how long did your nose heal? I am booked for open rhino in 2 months at Forme clinic. Will be traveling with friend who will stay with me. Only what needs to be arranged is the flight, so I need to have a look at the prices. But I agree the price for rhino is much better than in UK.

MummaL32 · 07/08/2019 08:44

It is true what they say your nose does fully take a year to heal yesterday I was 1 year po and it's only been the last couple of months I've massively noticed it shrink to how I wanted it to be I am so happy also, dr vas is amazing and puts you at ease. I know I've read some people stayed 5 days but to be honest you don't need to do that as by 5 days PO your swelling is a lot worse and for me theyre is no way I would of wanted to get a flight with my eyes black and bruised
I flew home the day after my nose and was absolutely fine and at least when swelling became it's worse I was in my own bed which deffo helped with recovering I am so glad I started this post as so many of you seem to of asked advice and got help and that is one thing that wasn't around when I was looking for info

Xx

Hi Molly. Can i ask how your surgery went? I have terrible tummy and want to get rid of that saggy skin. I booked that consultation with surgeon for free so will see how it will be like. Can i ask you how much was your surgery? The price at Forme clinic seems good what is quite unbelieveble, so want to be sure it is really like that.

Mollyy · 21/08/2019 08:42

@Nially Hi it went absolutely fine. I am happy it is over, was little nervous before but the staff is lovely and made my visit very nice. The price was actually one of the reason I picked this clinic. I payed about 2500 Eur so no worries it is really cheaper and still with good service.

Nially · 11/09/2019 07:09

@Molly Thanks for reply, I have already booked myself in two months time. I am very excited but still little nervous, but I think that is normal. I am so happy for the price:-)

Livsy · 15/01/2021 11:34

Hi, i am renewing this thread. I am planning tummy tuck surgery for a long time. I have picked Forme Clinic but i had to change the date because my flight was cancelled, so i will have it in April, hopefully, everything will be fine by that time. I am just curious about how was your recovery. I have 2 children so i am not sure how to manage with them. I have husband who will be helping me for a few days. How long did it take for you to walk normally or to lift something?

Mollyy · 01/02/2021 11:53

Hi, i think everyone's recovery is different. I was quite ok, it took little time for the pain to go but i could manage. I was on painkillers for a while, which helped. So first days i was relaxing, i had also my husband and mum helping me. But after 2-3 weeks, i could do most of the stuff by myself, except of heavy lifting of course:-) I had to wear a compression garment for a few weeks, but it was quite comfortable. It took a few months until i felt very good but it is worth waiting. Just make sure you will ask everything regarding the recovery. Who will be your surgeon? My was dr. Benes.

Livsy · 12/02/2021 10:07

Thank you, i do no expect the recovery to be very fast. Dr told me it takes up to one year for the tummy to set after the surgery. But i hope it will go smooth. My dr will be dr. Krizko, he is young but very sympathetic. I can not wait hopefully everything will be fine in a couple of months and it will be ok to fly to Prague.

Mollyy · 26/02/2021 10:37

Yes, it took me almost one year for the healing but my tummy looks great so for me, it was the best decision. I hope everything will go well with you.

Pammy39 · 26/03/2021 10:55

@Livsy Hi. I wish you good luck with your surgery. I just found this thread and realized you will have surgery at the same clinic I had breast augmentation. Are you still having it? I am considering liposuction but still not sure when. I am thinking about the end of the year. There were so many flights cancelled so I do not want to take a risk now. So I will see how it goes.

Livsy · 06/04/2021 14:09

@Pammy39 Hi, yes I am still having the surgery in 3 weeks. I am very excited but a little nervous. I had to also change the date but finally it will be fine. I hope that at the end of the year everything will be ok so we will be fine to fly everywhere.

Pammy39 · 30/04/2021 12:08

I am so excited for you. I will have a consultation next month and I will see what needs to be done with my tummy and hips. Last year I started to gain some extra fat and it does not want to go. I can not understand because I eat and move the same. Well it may be the age:-) Anyway let me know how it went.

Livsy · 10/05/2021 11:43

Hi, so I am few days after the surgery. Still can not move much but I feel better than those first 3 days. I try to relax so I do not do much. I am still staying in Prague for few more days. Anyway, dr was amazing and also the nurses. They took care of me all the time.

Pammy39 · 14/05/2021 11:46

That is good to hear, I hope you will heal fast. So just relax as much as you can. I will speak to dr in few days so I can not wait.

Yes, I try not to do much except walking, which helps. I feel much better and the wound heals well. It still hurts, but comparing to those early days, it's nothing.
Pammy39 · 25/06/2021 11:37

I'm happy for you. In September it's my turn:-)

WoSarah · 17/09/2021 11:26

Hello, how is your recovery going? I'm planning abdominoplasty for few years but never had the courage to have it. I also had a consultation with a doctor from this Forme clinic. My friend who lives now in Prague has recommended it to me because she had some small surgery there. Honestly I would love to have done but I constantly postpone it. But the doctor was lovely, he was very clear and explained to me everything I asked. But this would be my first surgery ever so that is the way I'm so nervous. How was your recovery those first days? Were you able to move or walk?

I feel already very good. The first days were pretty hard. I could not walk much so it was great to have someone to help me with everything. After few days of relaxing, I walked slowly just to move a little. Now I don't have much pain anymore and the incision looks already fine. It's still red but I am sure that after some time it will start to fade. Anyway, it's under my knickers so it's perfectly hidden. It will still take some time for my tummy to set but I'm already very happy.
WoSarah · 19/11/2021 12:42

That's good to hear. I've been planning this for ages. I have saved money so I'm already able to pay cash. Well, the price was the reason I picked this clinic. Anyway, I don't mind that scar, I heard it takes time to heal properly and it will fade after some time. But It can be even years. But that will probably not put me off:-) I just want to have a flat tummy again. The good thing is I will not have to travel back home too soon. My friend offered me a room for a while, so I will stay with her until I will be fit enough.

Nitties · 10/12/2021 10:04

@WoSarah I'm sure you'll love it. Three years ago I'd also Tummy Tuck surgery. I think it was the best-invested money. The clinic is great. First I was a little scared about travelling abroad but If I'd to have another surgery I wouldn't hesitate to go there again. What doctor will do your surgery?

WoSarah · 19/12/2021 18:56

@Nitties Thank you for your message. It makes me feel much better. I hope for me it'll be also the best-spent money. Anyway, my surgeon will be DR Bayer:-))

Nitties · 21/01/2022 15:09

@WoSarah I'm sure everything will go well. My tummy was done by doctor Benes. Not sure if he is still there. And when are you having the surgery?

WoSarah · 11/02/2022 16:00

@Nitties I will have it the first week in March:-) I can't wait. Hopefully, nothing will change by that time.
