Surgery abroad (formeclinic) & Europesurgry

Hi guys I'm hoping some people out there may have some advice I am looking to get two procedures done (for myself) now i feel I am in the right place in my life to have something done for me for once.

So I've taken some advice for some other mummy's I know have traveled to have things done which seems to be becoming more popular because the price is far more reasonable here not compromising on care just cost

So advice on if anyone has been to either of these clients forme clinic in Prague Czech republic and europesurgrys Poland

I've contacted both and has advice of different consultants views sent photos and have done so much research, I just wanted to find a fresher view

Poland advices that you need to stay in Poland 5 days post surgery
Prague is 1 or 2 nights after surg
Clearly coming home sooner would be better however I wanted to see how long other people stayed ? And how they found there treatment

I spoke to Forme clinic last month because i am looking for tummy tuck for good price. I took also the advantage of free online consultation, so did not need to travel to Prague from UK. I spoke to dr.Benes and he seemed very good. He told me what would be the best for me and how the surgery is performed. Well did not sound appealing but i do not expect that:-))So great communication and very clear. But what i am still worried is how i will manage to travel, if i will be in pain, able to walk or so. What about the accommodation, how far was it from the clinic, how long did you stay in Prague? Probably will need also insurance, right? Did you have to go back for the stitches or to check up? Silly questions i know but will be happy for all answers

I didn't have a tummy tuck so I can't help you with answers regarding the procedure however I can tell you where I stayed etc

So Formé recommended the Prague apartments and a couple of hotels however the apartments which is on worscester square where the clinic is it's in the same building Formé is one the 3rd or 4 floor I can't remember now and I stayed in an app on 6th floor so I only had to go in an Elivator down two floors for the clinic you won't be discharged from the hospital if you can't walk or do things for yourself so don't worry about that, they should tell you how long you will have to stay if you need extra app for stitches etc mine was self desolving so I didn't have to stay which is why I left the following day after the op

I have since sent photos to the clinic after my op and kept in contact with my surgeon they're really good at it it the care doesn't end just because you are not there anymore

Hi girls. Had my operation yesterday so now relaxing little bit at the clinic. Everything went good, got picked up at the airport and everyone is so nice at Forme. Getting good care and the food is yummi:-) Not too much pain just little tension. Can not tell how the result is yet, there is bandage on my chest but will let you know in few days, how i feel. I will move to apartment for another couple of nights and then back home. Can not wait to see my new breasts.

I'm so please your happy there I loved it there they was fab with me who done your breast?

Agree, literally everyone was very nice to me. I was first scared because different country, different behavior. But i was very surprised that the care i got was probably better then Uk. My surgeon was dr. Hyza. Very kind and attentive already when having consultation. i am still little swollen but i feel much better. So flying back home today:-)

Keep me updated on your recovery I'm hoping to go back in dec for breasts did you just have uplift or did you get implants too

To be negative if anything went wrong you may have less comeback than if you had it done in GB but currently as we are in the EU you could sue via ECJ but once we exit the EU you will have no legal comeback on them

On the plus side having lived all over Eastern Europe the care there is better than here in the UK EG IN the Czech Republic they hardly have any junior doctors just Consultants

I guess as long as you do your research correctly and are aware of that then I guess it's personal preference, I flew to Formé Prague purely because I wanted dr vasek as my surgeon as he is the gyro of noses while I was there they was also a lady who had come to have him from Canada as he's worked in South Africa , Canada aswell as other country's I went to him because I new he was the best at what he done. And usually if you have a very good surgeon the risks of things going wrong are very minimal meaning you shouldn't have the need to sue etc, I have been watching girls Instagram Story's here if there nose jobs who have been to big teams like Harley street and Mya and I have to say I'm not that impressed with what they've had, for 1 one girl with mya wasn't told how to clean her nose afterwards and was sitting with scabs and dry blood and was in agony with it and her bruising was arwful she looked like someone had really battered her face, I know everyone bruising differently however I am a bruiser I only have to brush passed something and I would be black however my face was nothing compared to some I've seen I hardly had anything and I know for a fact that was because of how my surgeon preformed my rhinoplasty I was given aftercare instructions and all my info I would need on what to do to take care of my nose while it was heeling and I know girls who have had it done here have not had that, and the fact girls here have to put themselfs in fiancé debt to afford it and don't even receive aftercare instructions to me is a joke if I had paid £7500 which is what mya quoted me and I was given no info I would feel completely mugged off, I also got to visit a beautiful city and explore it before I traveled home which was an added bonus I completely agree with not everywhere abroad is right just because it's cheaper but if you find the right surgeon for you and the right clinic then I would 100% recommend it x

I had just breast lift. I was always happy with my breast size but with the children they dropped little bit:-) I remember how i tried to exercise but no result at all. But i am happy how they look now. Could not wait to take the bandage off but i am absolutely satisfied. They have very nice shape and finally they up where they are supposed to be:-)) The swelling is not bad anymore. Now i am wearing elastic bra what is very comfy. They said at Forme i should wear it for about one month. What is annoying i can not do much activities yet, but it is wort to wait.

Hi there! Sorry to jump on this thread but I’m currently looking at going to Forme for breast uplift surgery and this is literally the only thread I’ve found! So I was just wondering Holly333 how you’re feeling now and if you’d recommend? I hope everyone had great experiences and are happy with their results!

The clinic had Dr Krizko look at my pictures so I’ve asked to see examples of his previous work.

I would recommend them to anyone I'm going back for my second visit in December for breasts but I'm going with hazya

I’m trying to research more about Dr Križko but can’t find much. Obviously I really want someone with lots of uplift experience!! Seems to be more info on Dr Hyza. I’ve no idea how they choose who you get! Did you ask specifically for Dr Hyza?

Forme clinic has also my recommendation. It was very good experience. I received very good care and now it has been almost one month and love my breasts. Seems like they have some new surgeons. When i was looking for my surgery there was not any surgeon called dr. Krizko. Have you already had any consultation?

I asked for him yes as I know women he's worked on so have seen first hand his results ,

Have a consultation with the new surgeon and see what he recommends maybe do a Skype you will know straight off if you have found the right person or not

Who is your patient co ordantor ? Maybe raise with her and ask what options and surgeons you have ?
Then you can research on them who you want.

I don't think dr hyza does maybe dates at Formé anymore as he has his own clinic in Bruno in Prague Leticia it's called however as Bruno is a very small village it's not very touristy and I'm not sure how the English is there in terms of how popular it is for tourist I think it's more locals. As they're website is also all in Czech so I found it hard to navigate as Formé is so central you can do some exploring while your there I went out and done all the tourist attractions soon as I got out of the hospital

Wow thanks so much for all the info! I asked for a Skype consultation but they said that they only do consultations in person. They sent me some pics of an uplift by him and it looked very good. I’d much rather be able to talk to someone who’s actually had one from him though!! They are holding my provisional booking until tomorrow so I have a bit of time to research more.

They’re saying I’d have one night in the clinic then just two more in a hotel which seems very quick? MummaL24 how long will you stay for? Also I’d love info on where to stay etc if I do decide to go with them, which I think I probably will. I didn’t expect it all to happen so fast! Good though as the sooner the better haha! I emailed a couple of other clinics but Forme seem the most responsive and professional and also it’s good to have the information from you who have actually been there!

After i left Forme clinic i had booked apartment for 2 more nights. It was in the same building, but i think hey can offer you also some hotel they cooperate with for discounted price. Is best to ask. I think those 2 nights were enough, more would be pointless, because everything was without any complication and i felt good anyway. So it depends if anything occur, but hopefully not:-) So fingers crossed and let us know how you decided. Anything you want to know just ask

I asked about options with other surgeons so they cancelled my pre booking with Dr Krizko and now I’m waiting to hear back from what Dr Hyza says about my pictures. Dr Krizko looks good but I couldn’t find uplift pics of his, whereas Dr Hyza I saw some really good ones of his, plus both of you recommend him so it seems he has more experience. I hope to hear back today!!

Did you book the apartment through Forme? Two nights is great, will be good to get home quickly!

Yes i had the apartment through Forme. It was good price and also great location. But if you have some place to stay or want to arrange by yourself is probably up to you. But it is worth to ask the clinic. Seriously if everything will be good what i hope 2 nights are more than enough.

Oh girls i wish i would find this earlier. I have BA in couple of weeks at Forme clinic. This clinic impressed me when i was searching internet. And also the prices are attractive. Reading through seems like you are happy with results what calmed me down. My surgeon is dr Benes, he was very kind and clear when explained the process. But i am still little nervous:-)

Finally back home. Had my nose surgery last week. Gosh i feel so swollen and really look like i got punched into my face. It is swollen but it gets better every day. It should be good in few more days. Finally i can see because i could not at the beginning. But it went good, must agree that those people working at forme clinic are very nice. Really supportive and dr. Vasek was just amazing. I had little mixed feelings first but i am sure i could not have better surgeon to do my nose. What really helped me he was honest about everything and clear. The nurse took nice care of me after and i did literally enjoy my stay. The result looks good but still can not see it properly because of swelling. So will give update later

I am booked in for 7th December, am very excited and nervous! Holly333 could I ask if you had all your preoperative tests on the day of the surgery? I’m confused whether I need to be there a day early for a mammogram... how is your recovery going? I hope you’re well!

Hi so your date is close now. You will have those tests on the day in the morning so no worries. Everyone is nervous that i think it is normal. And dr. Hyza is great so you will be in good hands. Now i am very good, it healed fast and honestly it was not painful how i thought it will be. So fingers crossed and i hope you will have fast recovery. Let us know how it went

louisajane are you finally having your surgery with dr. Hyza? I came back 2 weeks ago. All went good, still little swollen but the pain was manageable, and i love the result. And the price for everything total was good so it was worth to travel for me. if you need to know anything just ask. Wishing you good luck.
