Lovewhereilive · 26/04/2014 21:43

Week in Wales and 1.5 weeks in Croatia. Never been to Croatia before, hope we like it!

poocatcherchampion · 26/04/2014 22:07

Enjoyingmycoffee1981 · 27/04/2014 06:25

Creamy cooler...I believe it is. Have you been?

singaporeswing · 27/04/2014 06:49

Cambodia for a week next week, Thailand in June for long weekend and 2 week safari in South Africa in August.

DrewsWife · 27/04/2014 06:53

Hubs and I are off to Malta for a week then to London for a long weekend to tell his family that we are pregnant.

Looking forward to getting to Qwara and sitting on a harbour wall

lanbro · 27/04/2014 06:54

Static caravan on the west coast of Scotland for a week, with a 2yo and 7mo I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of going abroad! And tomorrow we're off to Scotland for a night to stay in a hotel I used to visit with my parents, recreating some childhood memories with my own little family, can't wait!

dobedobedo · 27/04/2014 07:01

Skegvegas with the in laws for a week in July! Grin

I'm due in May, so we've forgone a proper holiday this year. Next year though, I really want a villa type holiday in France.

Longdistance · 27/04/2014 07:02

Tunisia for two weeks all in.

We have family from Oz coming just as we arrive back, so I'll we'll be busy.

Shreddiez · 27/04/2014 07:09

We are just back from the Csnaries which were a real charmless disappointment.

We have a week in Pembrokeshire booked for Nay half term then Crete for a fortnight in August and a week in the French Alps for late August.

Children are 7, 5 and 1.

Shreddiez · 27/04/2014 07:09

The Canaries even!

CharityCase · 27/04/2014 07:15

Went to Koh Samui at Easter- stayed in a catered villa which I find easier than a hotel with young DC. There's not much to do there but weather was lovely and the kids are happy with the pool and the beach for a week.

Going to the UK in the summer for 2 weeks ( I live in Asia so this is exciting for me and the DC).

Might meet my parents in Dubai at October half term but the hotels are eye watering at the mo, so maybe not.

Might go to Sri Lanka at Christmas.

WanderingTrolley1 · 27/04/2014 07:22

DC are 15, 15 months and 10 weeks.

Going to Barcelona October half term - probably do it the UK in the summer.

PortofinoRevisited · 27/04/2014 08:49

We are doing 2 weeks with Keycamp in the Ardeche, followed by a week in the Jura. Dd is 10 and is now bored with going to the beach so we have lots of outdoor typed activities planned- tree climbing/canoeing/walking etc. We are just back from CPs De Kempervennen in the Netherlands. That was lots of fun.

42notTrendy · 27/04/2014 08:56

In August, a week in an apartment in Garda, on Lake Garda, one night in a hotel, then flying down to Malta for a week. Never done a two centre holiday before, can't wait!

Doshusallie · 27/04/2014 09:02

We skied at February half term which we loved. Got two weeks booked in Crete for August (can't wait, amazing villa we have stayed in before) and a week in butlins Bognor Regis October half term.

Bunnytheeggrobat · 27/04/2014 09:10

Vindscreenviper - I love that part of Provence. We usually stay in Vaison La Romaine. DP is a keen cyclist too and we try to coincide the trip with le tour. Can't go this year as starting a new job in June.

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 27/04/2014 09:12

A week in our llace in Cornwall (stealth boast) and a week in Tuscany at the end of August. I'm looking forward to it, but DS(13) has asked me if it's 'one of those old people's holidays' because it's not near a beach. Erm, I think it probably is, son!

Bunbaker · 27/04/2014 09:19

"We love holidaying in the UK, we find it much less stressful."

We do. OH travels a lot for work and hates holiday flights to the Med (he always travels business lass long haul) However, we are going to Crete in May, and self catering in Norfolk in July. OH is looking forward to Norfolk more than Crete.

Lovewhereilive Croatia is beautiful. We have been there twice and loved it. It isn't cheap though. Whereabouts are you going?

42notTrendy We stayed in Garda three years ago and Sirmione last year and loved it. A lovely way to explore is to get the ferry to different towns on the lake. Malcesine, Sirmione and Gardone are unmissable.

Portofino The Ardeche is stunning. Are you planning to canoe down it?

elQuintoConyo · 27/04/2014 09:23

A week in the UK with a hire car to visit friends and family, hopefully a couple of days in London. Depending on budget, we might drive through France then cross by shuttle in our own car must get dodgy suspension sorted out

September, hopefully going to Italy somewhere before DS starts school, a 'ladt hurrah' as it were. Possibly Rome or Naples. Hope to go to Sicily next year for my 40th.

DS is 2.9.

Bunbaker · 27/04/2014 09:27

This will be the last year we can go away in May. We will have the joy stress of GCSEs/AS/A levels for the next four years Sad

DurhamDurham · 27/04/2014 09:29

Me and my dh are having two weeks away without our two girls ( who are going on holiday together....I will go grey that week!)
We are having a week in Turkey in June and a week in Spain in September.

The Turkey holiday is all inclusive and we plan on doing nothing much at all apart from swimming and a few walks.

The Spain holiday is in a friend's town house, we are going with another couple and will do lots of exploring and because it's self catering we rant going to be tied to meal times.

It's the first year I won't have either of my girls on holiday with us, it will be strange but hopefully lovely. Certainly cheaper!!

Ledkr · 27/04/2014 09:32

We are taking our little camper van to France and spending four weeks firstly visiting my brother in Rennes then driving down to find the hot weather and staying in various campsites.
It's the third year we've done this and I love it.
No time constraints, pool was open last year until 9, beach on our doorstep and plenty of wine.
My favourite bit is bathing my toddler in the baby bath room with all the other babies.

Soditall · 27/04/2014 09:33

Been to Cornwall so far this year, wanting to go to France, the new forest and maybe Greece as well.
