Really feel for those affected by the 'human error'... does that mean someone overseeing their applications pressed the wrong button on a calculator - who knows, very upsetting for all those now in turmoil.

DD starts study leave end of next week, revision lessons now at school, mostly helpful. The geography department apparently have trip money left over so are taking the students out for pizza! DD cannot believe it, she says it is most unlike the school to be that generous - doesn't quite make up for the fact that the Iceland trip was not offered to her cohort - but hey she left for school with a smile on her face
. One chemistry teacher still not teaching, even in revision lessons where the students pick topics to go over, she just prints out questions and puts points on the board copied from the internet, when DD asked for clarification on a 'buffers'? question, she looked at her blankly and said 'oh, didn't you understand that point' - luckily another student explained it to DD!
Trying to be calm, buying healthy snacks and treats and showing her some yoga poses - which she finds amusing or annoying, depending on the time of day...
