Jet are you ok poppet? Sorry if me saying anything has upset you

TotalChaos · 18/06/2010 22:34

jet - don't be - say or not say, as you feel most comfortable with, but don't be embarassed about your feelings in front of us Shiney ladies, don't be apologising for yourself

Shiney - I hope your wedding is at the Penguin sanctuary!

fluffy - ah interesting ,DS is also another vegetable phobic! in theory the movicol should help with ahem softness but who knows. DS is on one sachet a day for one week, then two from next week, he's not impacted though, the dose for impaction is higher I think.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/06/2010 22:36

Sorry Jet, missed your post.

Don't be , like the others said, post or don't post.

YanknCock · 18/06/2010 22:36

I never thought of date rape guy being on FB. Ugh, he probably is. I obliterated him from all my high school yearbooks so I never had to look at him again.

Hope that's not true about people you send messages to being able to see your profile for 30 days! I could not resist so sent a message saying 'My aging brain is having trouble remembering how I know you, can you remind me? Since you live in X, it must have been about 10+ years ago right?'

I am quite curious really. DH knows I am doing this. I like him to get the impression I am such a memorable shag that men hunt me down years and years later

Yank, I am sure that is perfectly true.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/06/2010 22:42

Yay saf! I assumed you were watching BB asleep.

It is seriously worrying that out of, what, 20 posters? 4 or 5 have had bad experiences.

Surely 1 in 4 women can't have gone through something like this?

Sadly Bitter, I think the statistic is something like 1 in 4 women will experience sexual violence in their life.

Sorry I vanished, DS has just puked everywhere.

Put him in our bed, held him and had a little cry.

I'm very hormonal. Need Aunt Flo to hurry the feck up and get here....

Night Jet xx if you've gone by the time I post this, thanks for asking if I'm okay - clearly, I'm not. Not sure what's occuring.

DeFluffy · 18/06/2010 22:49

hugs to the mouse before i head to bed []

Night you wasters x

TotalChaos · 18/06/2010 22:50

you've had a rotten week Mousey, all the hassle with the builders, and broken nights with DS, and Mr Mousey getting a bit stressed earlier in the week - together with the hormones, no wonder you are feeling a little weepy about it all. sort of like me melting down last night - sometimes however positive you try and be, there are chinks in the armour - and seeing your child distressed is hard for any mother.

Mouseface · 18/06/2010 22:50

Thing about sexual violence is it can happen when you are in a relationship as well as a random attack.

No means no even when you have a long/short term partner.

Most women are just too traumatised/terrified to talk.

It is very, very sad.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/06/2010 22:52

Double - my friend told me a story - I can't remember if she read it or if it was her friend, but say it was her friend.

Friend was having an extension built, and the builders (sorry mouse!) were letting friends DD 'help'.

So they were letting her carry the buckets, wear a hard hat, they had basically adopted her as their mascot.

At the end of the first week, when they get their pay packets, they all put a quid in an envelope for the DD so she gets her own 'wages'

Friend suggests DD takes her wages to open a bank account, so off they go.

At the bank, the teller asks DD where she got so much money from, being friendly.

'They're my wages from my job' says DD

'What job is that sweetie?' Asks Teller

'I've been building all week' says DD

'And will you be building next week?' asks the teller.

To which DD replies, "I will if the fucking plumber shows up!"

Mouseface · 18/06/2010 22:53

I love you Total. You are spot on. In every way. I just need to shift this black cloud above me. I never normally get so down. xx

I have a few anniversaries coming up that I'd rather forget..................

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/06/2010 22:54

Fucking Hell! 1 in 4?

Mouseface · 18/06/2010 22:55

at Bitter - that's brilliant. How fabulous are children? So innocent with comments like that!!

Love it!!

Mouseface · 18/06/2010 22:58

Sorry - X posted Bitter.

Tis a shocking statistic. I'm so scared for DD, she's 11 and sprouting breasticles and furry bits.... I just don't want her to grow up that way..........

DeFluffs - I know you're probs in bed but Movicol???? I had that for constipation when I was pg???? It cleared me out within 24 hours of taking it! Very harsh..................

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/06/2010 23:06

No mouse, I geddit - was a funny story.
