There is something comical about the word, I agree!

I don't like this, I feel naked now I'm not a Bitter Harriden

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/06/2010 21:41

Phew that's better.

See, my parents have been married for over 30 years and are still in love.

My Dad (Who is awesome) Still leaves a post-it on the kettle every morning for my Mum to find saying how much he loves her.

I want that.

CrispyTheCrisp · 18/06/2010 21:42

FiveGoMadInDorset · 18/06/2010 21:44

Bitter that is so lovely.

DeFluffy · 18/06/2010 21:44

hang on hang on, your uncles??

I watch JK, Trisha etc. I even sky plus them. No council house though. I love Pick me up etc, makes me laugh. Neighbours have flags.

dp has just walked in. AIBU to hate that thing though when they ask you what they should do?

jetcat · 18/06/2010 21:45

hi crispy, thanks for kind words

Bitter, my birth mother has been with the same bloke for 25 years now aparrantly. Granted she was married to someone else for the first 4 years, and had 5 children to other blokes during the remainder of the time

FiveGoMadInDorset · 18/06/2010 21:46

Jet

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/06/2010 21:46

Should add, I think I will get that!

Not the post it thing but the best friends down the line thing. I read some of my posts sometimes and it reads like I am a single mother.

Can I just point out I love my husband. He can be an idiot, but he's my idiot.

CrispyTheCrisp · 18/06/2010 21:47

Bitter, i read that and thought 'oh, how lovely' and then realised that DH makes me a cup of tea every morning and brings it to me in bed, so that wouldn't work

Jet - you can stick two fingers up to them now. Go Girl

Fluffy - watching JK is def common --unless- whilst running on treadmill

DeFluffy · 18/06/2010 21:47

fanny saw Mary Queen of Shops, village was beautiful.

I slept with 3 blokes in one week once and weirdly none of them was my boyfriend, I only kissed him that week

VinegarTits · 18/06/2010 21:47

oh bof yes, i am in love with it! i love it, love it, love it (little peed off that my free bluetooth cat kit doesnt work with it though )

thanks - i wasnt always such a wuss I dont remember being quite that bad though......

Mouse - you have me mightily confused re your family dynamics

Vinny - thats awful - i hope she can stay in her home

Mouseface · 18/06/2010 21:50

My parents - stepdad - have been married 25 years, just celebrated their silver wedding last month.

I want that too Bitter.

My stepdad is my hero. He is the most adorable person I know and on Sunday, when we go to see him, I will hug him lots and tell him just how much I love, respect and miss him!

He took on my mum and two children that weren't his. He did a stella job at bringing us up, loving us, teaching us and letting us just get on with it.

MrMouse is very like my SD, similar qualities, beliefs, values. Which is why we are married.

Sorry, off on a tangent there, as you were.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 18/06/2010 21:51

You wouldn't want to live there in the height of summer.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/06/2010 21:51

Fanny, I know - I have no reason to be such a cynical cow.

The reason I want you to adopt me is that I grew up in an Enid Blyton novel and i want to re-live my childhood!
