Morning all!

Will someone please kick me up the bottom and nag me to do an online shop today. I've been needing to do one since Thursday and the cupboards are bare.

DEM - hope the rinkside soap doesn't ruin your day.

Good luck with the jobshare Bella.

Lizzylou · 15/06/2010 07:52

Morning Bella and Wasting

I have found a glitch with the Dukan diet, I don't like eggs, well, I like a very well cooked Frittata but not any other kind of eggs. So prawns for breakfast it is!
Maybe I'll just have more coffee.
Am going shopping today so will get that Oat bran stuff Hells and some fat free yoghurt, so at least I will have breakfast stuff in that isn't pink and fishy.

Lizzylou · 15/06/2010 07:53

Bella, the jobshare candidates thing souds like Blind Date

bellavita · 15/06/2010 08:25

can't beleeeeeve you discuss books the evening I'm not online!

Girl with a Dragon Tattoo is very good - possibly not quite as stunning as the hype would lead you to believe - but pretty damn good nonetheless.

Brookmyre - not read his recent ones, but also v good and v funny in parts.

Mousey - sorry it was a crap night and Mr M is struggling. re:shred - can you call your physio to see what sort of exercises are OK, the shred does tend to focus on driving beyond the pain barrier, which is the last thing anyone with orthopaedic issues needs!

dem - yes I have a young teen friend too, the anecdotes and politics are absolutely bewildering at times, thank god I am not a teen

Alicetheinvisible · 15/06/2010 08:47

Really sorry but haven't caught up.

Just popping on to say i am out for the day so have a good one everyone

MuckyDucky · 15/06/2010 09:17

have a good day alice!

Total - i think what threw me completely was that I got the complete cold shoulder for 90% of people yesterday to start off with and a very pissed off looking person being cross. Interesting greeting when you walk in the door. Having been away for 2 weeks I had absolutely now idea what the hell was going on. It will settle down an bit and had done so by the time i left. It was more the fact that I had suggested to the girl that it was a good idea to say yes to dating the guy, which turn out not to be great. People knew I was friends with the guy before the girl, and knew I had thought a good idea for the dating. Thus assumed I knew something of what had kicked off. Needless to say. said guy is keeping a very low profile and is likely to get a very very frosty responses from 99% of the people at the rink. I am staying out of it. the girl is lovely and we train similar times so I am going to stay out of arguement but will probably end up being better friends with the girl then guy. You see it is all go when you are young, I had forgotten how much energy traumas like this take. Right now couldnt give a flying monkeys and keeping low profile seems great idea. Just not training later. i am crackered. And have to chase hospital appointments.

MuckyDucky · 15/06/2010 09:20

Ah ment to say - Bella 2nd top was completed before the 1st but it doesnt fit correctly so needs the starch washing out of the material and then modifying. it will wait for a bit, am going to do life and have another project or two to do first.

Oh and i need to discover the missing lunch box and PE kit that i couldnt find this morning great way to start the new term.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 15/06/2010 12:09

Saf, I think we worked out that I would have to earn something around 38k for it to be worth me going back to work full time.

What book are you reading DF?

Right, shopping is booked, kitchen is clean, dog is walked.

DH is taking me out for lunch, catch up later.

Mittz · 15/06/2010 12:14

''shove it in and press the button?? '' works for me every time Fluffy

Hello! just a swift visit for now.
Got a b'day pressie to look for..

Mouseface · 15/06/2010 12:19

Afternoon, tis me Mouseface!

Lizzy - What? No more fit Italians! What is the world cup coming to. That was the only reason to watch one of their games!

Bella - thank you lovely. MrMouse is still sorry, little mouse is still puking, the builders are still bloody idiots and are now using a jack-hammer to break up concrete into cm sized squares whilst I'm trying to get DS to nap..............

But my neighbour said YES, I can use his washer!! And his housemate can do the plumbing so I should have my washer back in a few days!!!

Hope you like your newbie at work!

Bitter - do your bloody shopping woman!

DIB - rocky road!!! Calorietastic!

TC - I have a list from my physios as to what I can and can't do. Upper body and abs are fine although I'm going to check with them once the DVD arrives. There's no way I'm going to risk causing more damage and plan to just do level one until I'm fixed as long as I get the green light. I shall do it with the sound off!!

If not, I'll save it for when I'm mended. [samile]

SAF - stay positive in yor quest for a job/vol work and it will come. The market goes quiet at this time of year due to holidays so don't lose heart.

Oh, and do your bloody shopping woman!!

Mouseface · 15/06/2010 12:22

What's a [samile]???

Lizzylou · 15/06/2010 12:36

Hey all

Have eaten loads of chicken today, and that is it so far. Going to shred in a mo and then get to Tescos for some high protein steak, more fish and some no-fat yoghurt.

Have just tried some of my old shorts on and if I don't breathe out and waddle everywhere, they look great That is what has inspired me to shred.

Jet is revising, I think, the slinky snakehipped and whippet thighed lovely

Mouse, I know, you always used to be able to bank on the Italians for a bit of eyecandy, what is wrong with the world?? Though Paraguay have Roque Santa Cruz, who I could just link to again...
Here

And one of David Beckham "looking beautiful in a suit", think I may have mentioned that before as well
