TBH i am just letting them get on with it. It would get very very messy if i tried to do anything. problem is that i am friends with both girls. so it will get messy what ever. SO going to keep low profile.

Am going to bed. need to be up in time to get ds to school on time. It is not looking promising. I am knackered and could sleep 15hours straight if i had a dark quiet room and no distractions or noises or reason to move. Shame that i shall be up in aroun 7 1/2 hours feeling like the walking dead.

Am reading the latest one at the moment - wondering if he has a thing for schoolkids or if it's just that he likes portraying the awkward years where boys want to impress girls but really think that fart jokes are more fun.

I didn't mean paedophile 'thing' obviously, just that it seems to be one of his preferred settings/genres for books. Wondered if he had a poncey writerish reason (children at the edge of adulthood, discovering that the world is different than they imagined) or just liked the opportnity to make fart jokes.

I think he is very tuned into the realism thing of how things were in school- I remember being impressed by his recall when I read that ' Tale Etched in Blood and Hard Black Pencil'.

Have never read any of those books, in fact I have about 10 books on my to read pile which are untouched, I miss reading, I used to read a few books a week when I commuted, pre-dc.
