Bella, today I have done,

Onion
Courgettes
Aubergine
Mushroom
Baby corn
Red Pepper
Tin of tomatoes
Tin of ratatoille

But it varies

Bung in a pan, soften veg, layer with pasta. If I'm being good I will top with natural yoghurt and a bit of parmesan.

Today I have topped it generously with mozzarella and mature cheddar

Don't be jealous of me laying in the sun - I'm still milk bottle white.

bellavita · 17/06/2010 17:22

new thread

Sounds nice Bitter, will have a go at the veggie one instead of doing meat all the time.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 17/06/2010 17:35

Lizzy, I am so, so sorry for you, that must be difficult.

Bella, I tell you what else is nice, I do a really nice salmon and spinach lasagne as well - I love pasta but do get bored of ragu style sauces. (not the one in a jar! )

Lizzylou · 17/06/2010 17:40

Bitter, you don't seem to be taking my need for cheese seriously!!!

I can take or leave carbs tbh, but cheese, cheese, cheese I need it!!!

I knew Mouse would understand

Lizzylou · 17/06/2010 17:55

I've not read anything, SAF, save for the Daily mail stuff.
I dunno tbh, but think on Saturday I may indulge in a tipple or 2.

I have some Laughing Cow extra light in the fridge, they'd be the same as non-fat yoghurt I reckon...wouldn't they????

Lizzylou · 17/06/2010 17:56

You are NOT helping!!!

Melted cheese....ummmmmmm

hellsbelles · 17/06/2010 18:02

SAF & Lizzy - don't despair. It gets easier. I"ve been a little bit naughty. As I knew I had the meet up coming up I decided to allow myself one glass of one a night once I got through the attack phase. I'm still losing weight so I assume it's not doing

Iggi - he must have been partially blind or senile (no point mincing my words eh?). There is NO WAY you could be a grandmother.

Alice - how tragic. Try not to let it spoil your own last bits of the pregnancy. Just concentrate on you.

Jet - three cheers! That's great.
Mouse - What Fluff said!!

Portia & SHiney - HELLO!!

of your fish and chips bella!

DS is sitting at home with a humongous bruise between his eyebrows. I got a call from the school saying he had bashed his head after falling off a chair. He is also covered in bruises from his 'adventure' weekend with his friend. If social services saw him I'm sure they'd think something was up. He's black and blue!

He seems fine in himself but I'm watching him like a hawk for concussion (paranoid).

As a treat we had his favourite supper...roast chicken (well I had the chicken - they had the trimmings too!)...he said it's his favourite meal in the whole world and he could eat it every single day. Oh to be a skinny seven year old!

bellavita · 17/06/2010 18:14

Hells, you won't be of my thighs when all the chip fat to it!

My lovely Tesco delivery driver has just been. He commented on that I did not have my usual large shop this week. I was dying to tell him it was because we are going away to London to see Green Day, but DS2 was stood there so I couldn't say a word, just muttered that I was trying to use freezer stuff up. I feel sorry for the driver, he is really lovely, but has a son at the school I work at and unfortunately he causes him a lot of trouble....

Lizzy, there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth next week I promise you, you can get your own back then!

Hells - is he OK? DS is the same, constantly covered in bumps and bruises.

bellavita · 17/06/2010 18:21

Aww your poor DS Hells , I hate it when they hurt themselves.

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/06/2010 18:32

Hells - did he have fun getting the bruises from his adventure weekend? cos that is what matters. To me good bruise gained infunis the best sign of a good time.

I am lazy parenting. ds has had crumble for tea again. going o have to do something meat tomo. ds is talking about spreadnig of germs and illness again. SO he has given me a clean spoon and the left over crumble that he couldnt eat. well at least he tries. hasnt quite got it right but hey ho.

VinegarTits · 17/06/2010 18:47

Hells poor ds, i hate it when they hurt themselves, the finnster fell down the stairs the other day and is covered in bruises , lucky my stairs break in the middle (there is a platform) so he didnt fall all the way down

VinegarTits · 17/06/2010 18:54

Cheese (or milk products) = allergic reaction = very painful swollen joints = tummy refusal to recieve food = body refusal to digest food

can cheat a little if taking antihistamines but it always ends badly.

this thread is nearly full.

time to lock up and close the door me thinks!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 17/06/2010 19:06

Double, it's part of the Dukan - I would never avoid cheese by choice!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 17/06/2010 19:07

Opps, yes posting on wrong thread now I'm on the lappy!
