Jet has exams mouseface. Thursday is d-day so expect she is cramming and staying off line. She has made odd post on her FB so she is ok but busy.

ANyone fancy some rhubarb. just been to sort out any poorly plants and pot up those needing it. Rhubarb bed needed some major work as looked very poorly. there is one healthy group or crowns now, one poorly looking group of crowns that might not survive and a very very large pile of rhubarb in the kitchen. I fear i might have to jam tonight to get rid of it that was not in the plan.

Breaksfast was a whisper and a glass of diet coke.
Lunch will be the baked potate i put in the mircowave for brunch and promptly forgot in the face of the rhubarb bed.

Do you like Salmon? I foil baked that with a little tiny bit of lemon & salt) - was relatively good. I also ended up eating a lot of mackeral, white crab meat etc. It's bloody expensive this diet and you do get very smelly! I'm on the protein bit today...just had chicken for lunch, fat free strawberry yog. And I'm having burgers (very lean mince used and cooked in the george foreman grill) for supper.

My head is pounding. no idea what the hell the builders are doing down the road but ouch! Must be bloody awful when it is so close to you. Sympathies mouse. How long are they supposed to be on the breaking things up making lots of drilling noise stage?

Aaaarrrggggghhhhhhh!!!! Bloody doctors, I had my appt this morning which is quite important as it's about yet more test results & next steps with my back etc & has already been pushed back once due to the results not being in. DH had to work so my lovely Nana came over to sit with the DC for me, she drove all the way over, got them sorted etc then I drove to the GPs which is no easy task for me right now, got parked, hobbled into reception only to be told my doc has called in sick! When I asked why no-one had contacted me the snooty receptionist told me they'd been trying to call me all morning but there was no answer so they left a message. When I explained that I had in fact been in all morning & the phone had not rung she simply pursed her lips & ignored me, checked my answer phone & no message also checked my telephone number with them which is correct.

I'm so angry right now, it's no easy task for me to do that & as I had to see the doc about getting meds for something else un-related I now have to go back at 3pm with both DC, I am so close to tears right now at just the thought of having to do that.

Sorry, self absorbed moan, sorry.

Norma you are allowed to moan and have a fucking good reason to. dont be hard on yourself! I am not surprised you are clopse to tears. I have had this attitude with the docs before and I complained about the non contact with the practise manager. It can be done as nicely or strongly as you see needed.

Managed to shred powered by chicken alone so was pleased at that. I love salmon, could I bake it in balsamic? I love that...Was also thinking of trying a chicken tika with fat free yoghurt and making a fat free mint yog dressing.
You are a very good advert for the Dukan though Hells,certainly inspired me! And I shredded at evel 1 with weights for the cardio in order to get arms anywhere near as good as Crispy's.

Bless you Mouse thank you you're very sweet. I've got to go back for something completely unrelated to my back but was just going to see my doc about it at the same time as my back appt to save myself a bit of hassle, as you can see that worked out perfectly, not! They did try & push for me to see another doc re my back today but I refused as I've finally found a doc who actually listens to me & talks to me like a human being so I refuse to see anyone but him, they're hoping he'll back tomorrow so hopefully I can get to see him this week.

I've been teetering on a mini meltdown for a few days now, just not myself at all & this has just pushed me over the edge. DH has thankfully taken the rest of the week off so as of this evening he's home til after our holiday, I have a feeling I may crash & burn any second

Bloody builders, can they not drill quietly for goodness sake!

Ay up lovely..... I'm not bad, MrMouse is being very humble about last night. I really think he had no idea just how emotionally and physically hard it is to care for DS......

Norma - Good, there is no point in seeing someone who knows nothing about you, your life, your needs or you pain. Well done for standing your ground. Hopefully, you'll get to see your doc and if the receptionist you saw has an ounce of useful brain matter, she'll make you a priority!

Please don't worry and let this tip you over the edge, easier said than done I know, but you've only got a few days now until your hoiday! Yay!!!!

I feel for you both Mouse.. DC's Dad couldn't cope with DS's issues. I can't give any constructive advice but it is good that he has admitted it now and maybe you can both work on something that takes the pressure off you and helps him grow to find DD's challenges easier to take on board.

I know what you mean Norma about consistancy of care with a doctor. I have found it very hard with docs re my depression especially. Good for you sticking to your guns though. Big sympathies re the pain still. It's OK to crumble. It is wearing being in constant pain.

Headache, is a bit of everything.The weekend has exhausted me. A bit of tension from pain of sitting for too long and heels (loved wearing them though) and Fibro likes to remind me when I have over done it. Emotions... huh, not going there . My neck feels like a Gerbera stem.

Thankyou for reminding me. I have to go ring the secutary who promised that she would find out when the follow up appointment which should have been a year ago would actually be. she said she would ring back in a week, that was over a month ago. Unfortunately this is the same person who i need to ask for more meds for Ds from too. I have to be politely pissed off when all i want to do is be sharply pissed off wish me luck.

Ran 6k, 10 mins powerplate and 100 sit ups completed before 9.30 this morning . Drastic action is required to try and reverse the +4.25 which appeared on the scales this morning. At least i think that is what it said as i was peering through closed fingers

I had a wee rest on bed after putting DS to bed last night which turned into a full night's sleep, so no MNing for me. Woke up in the early hours screaming out loud. Never done that before! God only knows what I was thinking about.
