Bitter - B-bum, tish!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/06/2010 22:35

How is it right that my stomach is like a pile of dough but my engagement and wedding rings are falling off my fingers?

And they were tiny to start with.

wastingaway · 14/06/2010 22:38

Bitter, have you stretched your fingers, perhaps?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/06/2010 22:39

Fanny - I'm watching Mary Portas. Is Corfe Castle near you?

If it is you can expect me Thursday, bag in hand.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/06/2010 22:42

Wasting, my fingers are like twiglets, seriously.

If my body was in proportion to my forearms and shins I would be teeny.

I used to be, then I had a girl.

TrillianAstra · 14/06/2010 22:43

Wine is quite nice, should be £9.99, but part of £9 meal deal. Random.

Bargain Trills!!! I heart M&S deals like that, super yummy food and great value.

Bitter - Corfe Castle? We're off there in the summer hols with the DCs. BIL lives there so have told him we'll be there for 4 days!!!

He's single with no DCs so have given him 4 months warning!!!!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/06/2010 22:51

Saf, not me jilting you for fanny, but for Corfe Castle.

Do you read much? If so, let me know what you enjoy and I will bring you some books on Thu. I have far too many, need to farm some out.

Warning you though, my collection is heavy on crime/thriller and a bit of not too fluffy chick lit.

Mouseface · 14/06/2010 22:52

SAF - I couldn't give up alcohol for a diet. I'm too weak......

I enjoy drinking, not excessively, just within reason. I miss the summer when winter comes, the ice cold rose, the pimms, the Magners at a BBQ - ah.

Then in rolls winter and I get a Bailey's craving!! And hot toddy's.

I am rubbish...........

Mouseface · 14/06/2010 22:53

Bitter - my kinda girl.

Have you read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/06/2010 22:55

Mousie, I drink faaar more than is healthy.

I'm guessing if I stopped drinking and shredded more religiously I would be nice and tiny again.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/06/2010 22:56

Not read that Mousie - does it live up to the hype?

PortiaNovmerriment · 14/06/2010 23:01

Yes, link us the shredder, Mousie!

MuckyDucky · 14/06/2010 23:16

evening ladies!

How goes it. I am knackered and walked into rl trauma, for which i was apparantly to blame. Ho hum. I have been given less fault but it is like watching car crash tv only in rl and I am waiting for the major cat fight that will kick off in the near future. Right now I am glad I am in my 30's cos fucking hell does teens and early 20's seem stressful and hormonal!

you need to explain, MuckyDuck...

Mouseface · 14/06/2010 23:17

TGWTDT - Nope, not yet. I struggle with place names and pronounciation of the charactor names to - eg - Mr Weisennstromph and alike.

I have to stop, spell it out in my head and carry on so it's taking a while to read.

I do know that once I get used to it, it'll blow my socks off. I get that feeling but watch this space.

I can highly recommend No Second Change by Harlan Coben. Very clever book. He has more so I'm on the hunt..............

PortiaNovmerriment · 14/06/2010 23:19

I do like Coben. Christopher Brookmyre is even better though- have you ever tried his?

Mouseface · 14/06/2010 23:19

Sorry Mucky, bleating on about books, you ok?
