Portia - no idea re shredding.

Prefered method: high speed, sharp blade, cold type of approach Have canceled tomo's lesson. ds is back at school, i have to do important calls and sleep!

VinegarTits · 14/06/2010 18:32

(only i cant order mine until tomorrow as i dont get paid until then)

Lizzylou · 14/06/2010 18:32

Just some small hand weights Portia/Vinny, you could use baked bean tins to start off with.

Oh and a pacemaker and a cream cake and glass of wine for afterwards.

PortiaNovmerriment · 14/06/2010 18:33

Go for it then Tigger

MuckyDucky · 14/06/2010 18:33

sounds painful lizzy.

TotalChaos · 14/06/2010 18:33

Vinny - you only need hand weights for shred. and if you will be exercising on a hard floor then an exercise mat for the abs work could be handy. If you are near a Morrisons, I've seen shred DVD in Morrisons for 6 quid.

Lizzylou · 14/06/2010 18:34

Ouch! Total.

I have sprayed myself with boiling hot soup before, not realising blender as on high speed.

VinegarTits · 14/06/2010 18:34

ive just booked a boozy weekend at a music festival, camping with my sil and the kids, in two weeks, i will need extra shredding, possibly not a good idea to start the dukan diet before then either

VinegarTits · 14/06/2010 18:35

hand weights = tins of beans dont they?

VinegarTits · 14/06/2010 18:36

i once burned my hand off poring boiling water off the pasta

TotalChaos · 14/06/2010 18:40

yeah tins of beans should do. or I wonder if bottles of Coke?

Lizzy - yowch, the boiling soup is worse than the cut finger.

vinny - no procrastinating. start the dukan, take the weekend off, then restart it, it's low fat as well as low carb by the looks of, so should still be helpful even if you break it up in the middle

MuckyDucky · 14/06/2010 18:40

I nearly cut off the top of my finer tip by getting a baked bean tin stuck on it. Aparantly it took a lot of stitches to repair. I have no recollection of it. (pre cooking in kitchen stage of life.)

I dont tend to do physical damage to me but do do a very long range of disasters cooking wise. There was the cake that tasted of soap, black pasta, burnt onion gravy, burnt eggs, boiled out pans, exploding cakes, lead weight dumplings, on and my favourite the charcoaled lump which previously took that shape of golden syrup.

Can i hold you responsible for the injuries in a she made me do it kinda way?

DreamsInBinary · 14/06/2010 18:49

You ain't seen me, right?

MuckyDucky · 14/06/2010 18:57
Alicetheinvisible · 14/06/2010 18:58

I once cut my tongue on a rice pudding tin lid that is just Fick

No DIB, can't see you, that disguise is genius BTW, what are you supposed to be?

VinegarTits · 14/06/2010 19:00
Gigantaur · 14/06/2010 19:01

no i am the biggest liability in a kitchen ever.
I have burned down 2 cookers, stabbed a hole in the freezer, broken the handle on 4 yes 4 washing machines, blown up a microwave, and broken every other gadget i have ever owned.

What is this shredding thing. will it be humiliating aerobics fun that will entertain my neighbours long enough that they will be ready to call me a paramedic once its over?

if the dukan thing is what Portia linked to the other day then im in!

ANd there is absolutly no blardy way you are 4 stone overweight Bof. no way at all. more chance of me running the 1 minute mile at any time other than when a cream cake is being wafted at the other end.

MuckyDucky · 14/06/2010 19:03

oh i had forgotten about the microwave. set fire to one once. that was fun. least we know the fire blankets works.

Alicetheinvisible · 14/06/2010 19:03

Oh yes and i have set my kitchen on fire

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/06/2010 19:07

Hellooooooooo!

Oh my goodness what a day. We have had new tills put in so I have spent most of the day on the phone to the help desk getting problems fixed, and the rest of it either running from one end of the store to the other getting barcodes or being moaned at by cashiers because they want their break.

Do I look like a miracle worker?

Does anyone want a glass of wine? Because apparently I can make it out of water.

I must have ran walked about 6 or seven miles today, most of it with a random grocery item in my hand.

Rant over, how's everyone?

MuckyDucky · 14/06/2010 19:08

Think we either better camp at five's or do hotel food for meet ups then Must go drug the boy. I really dont want him still up when i get back tonight.

PortiaNovmerriment · 14/06/2010 19:11

Dukan is prawns, I think- Fukan is the fun exercise plan.

MuckyDucky · 14/06/2010 19:13

Will catch you lot later. behave if you must...

VinegarTits · 14/06/2010 19:13

must we

Gigantaur · 14/06/2010 19:14

Duck - I put Ds's melatonin in a fromage frais. he knows it is in there but he likes them so much he will eat them anyway.

Bitter - water into wine huh? i can make food into charcoal but that is far less of a talent. have a sit down and relax. hopefully it will be a better day tomorrow
