oh ds has his in apple juice. he gladly takes it, he understands how much better is when life he sleeps. There is no issue to him taking thankfully. it is the compulsory periodic break bit that nearly kills me. I haver to tell him he is having it. But he knows otherwise

yes Ds will ask for his tablet as he knows he isn't able to sleep without it.

makes life so much easier than when i had to try and conceal it.

Mouseface · 14/06/2010 19:27

Take-a-way here, far too depressed to cook.

Although hearing Portia's voice earlier did make me smile.

Day from hell = Mousey needing a super carb fix.

Will promise to eat nothing but dust tomorrow - literally if the god awful builders have there way.

Oh, and I have now lost the use of my washing machine. With a constant puking DS. And no family for less than 2 hours away and no launderette and no stream nearby and no hope and oh dear, here I go again....................

Nobody fancy those books or know anyone with a DD who might? They're that nice they could be gifts for Christmas?

I don't really want them to go to the school fete, they have enough cash out of me over the school year [grumpy cow emoticon]

bellavita · 14/06/2010 19:31

Takeway sounds good. You do a cracking job, just thought you should know that . Can you just handwash the essentials out? I don't have any girls, so the books are no good for me and my friends only have boys too.

Saf - deffo on for Thurs - feels like I've not seen you for an age.

Mousie, don't know many little girls, sorry. And DD is a bit young, but a lovely offer.

I hope that's regular dust, you know diet dust has added sweeteners.

PortiaNovmerriment · 14/06/2010 19:36

I would love the Naughtiest Girl ones, Mouseface, but only for nostalgia purposes- I'm sure there are worthier recipients

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/06/2010 19:38

What's this reindeer saf?

Would it be suitable for DD?

SAF! What did I miss. Reindeer? Are you shagging Santa?

I suppose I could do the hand wash thing.... or I could beg my neighbour to let me borrow his? [lightbulb emoticon]

He's out at work all day so may not mind? Especially if I pay him in beer and wine!

Will keep flogging the free books

Gigantaur · 14/06/2010 19:41

If it's DD sized saf, yes please! Do you want me to pay you for it, or shall I just treat you to dinner one night?

I might have to get George a little sweetener to say thankyou then - no plastic crap I promise!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/06/2010 19:54

Don't shag Santa saf - that would make you his Ho Ho Ho!

On phone with work. Don't think I signed up for this. Will go in late tomorrow to compensate.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/06/2010 20:17

Ok, I'll concede to not getting George anything, because we've had the conversation before about our parents donating mountains of stuff.

But dinner would be fun, just looking for an excuse really - we can look for a restaurant that just serves prawns if you like?

bellavita · 14/06/2010 20:19

Trills, do they think that you might have mn friends to talk to a home life?

OP posts:
bellavita · 14/06/2010 20:20

might not
