This is our 50000 (or summat like that) thread.

Some of us do wW, some do the Lord Ford and there may even be a little bit of South Beach in here too!

If you have loads or a teeny tiny bit of weight to lose or even if you just want to eat healthy then this could be the thread for you.

Good luck Jet, I will sponsor you, but may have to be in a week or so (funds are low).

Well done for coming right out with the pg question, I was trying to hint

jetcat · 05/06/2010 14:53

sorry Lizzy and bitter

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 05/06/2010 14:54

Sorry to disappoint, but really not likely.

If I start going to bed at 8 o'clock, then you'll know - I was bloody knackered through both my pregnancies, though luckily that seemed to be the only symptom.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 05/06/2010 14:55

love your frankness though

Saf! That's outrageous!

very funny though

I hate ironing with a passion, that's why I outsource it - To DH.

I have eaten two rounds of tuna mayo sandwiches and a lump of nobloaf.

Ham salad and quiche for tea.

Will go up a gear from next week. Promise.

jetcat · 05/06/2010 15:11

not sure about buzzing double - will have both girls with me, junior will no doubt whinge that it is too far the whole time, and mini will want to ramm everyone with push her pushchair!

Ex was supposed to have mini, but surprise surprise, he has changed his mind, so have tried to glitz up her pushchair (tis pink anyway) with helium balloons etc and she has got some gorgeous pink shorts! Oh, and can well expect junior to spend the entire time complaining about her bra strap showing through her vest top - "it doesnt look right mam, its supposed to be UNDERwear"

can you tell i am looking forward to it

Whoops!

Nobloaf = malt loaf. It's what DS called it as a baby and it kind of stuck.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 05/06/2010 15:16

Oh god it must be pregnancy brain!

jetcat · 05/06/2010 15:18

Oh, I have to do a lot of deep breathing and palm sweating for those bits to be done! But I have had brazillians before and I can confirm that they do hurt.

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 05/06/2010 15:33

OOh, have never plucked up the courage to have my bits waxed, always use immac/shave.

I've heard it's good to have a couple of nurofen beforehand, perhaps 1/2 bottle of wine for the embarrassment factor as well

Aaw, it will be a lovely thing to do with the girls, Jet.

bellavita · 05/06/2010 15:33

I was given paper knickers to wear and used to just pull them to either side depending on which side she was doing and holding the skin taught for her at the same time.

OP posts:
jetcat · 05/06/2010 15:37

you're all a lot braver than me re the waxing girls

thanks for the good luck messages for tomorrow

am feeling a bit calmer re the exam, i bit the bullet and posted on the course forum about how i was struggling, turns out i am not the only one

jetcat · 05/06/2010 15:54

seeing as you did so well in sorting out my dress for me, i have started a new thread over in S&B looking for shoes, should anyone be heading in that direction

Alicetheinvisible · 05/06/2010 16:20

Have had a very relaxing afternoon on the sofa snoozing and watching the racing on telly. Very good result in the Derby, DH and i are very happy. Haven't actually got dressed yet DD has been in bed for 2 and half hours now - think she needed it!

Going to hang some washing out and unload the dishy before getting her up, then off to the yard.

What is anyone having for dinner? So hot i can't think about eating a meal
