Morning

It was really nice reading FB this morning and seeing that all my 'friends' are happy because it is sunny and the weekend and are all going to the beach/BBQ's/parties. So much nicer than checking in first thing to see that X has had a huge falling out with her 'man' and is slagging him off to the world (amusing that it is....) or Y "is feelin wel shit n cant b fuked"

Anyway, everyone is happy here, planning another day in the garden with the paddling pool.

wastingaway · 23/05/2010 08:24

Sounds like a good plan Alice. Did you get the sun lounger?

(lol at cant b fuked )

Lizzylou · 23/05/2010 08:24

Morning all, am all sleepy and feeling the Pimms a bit, how can it be alcoholic, it tastes of pop???

Off to the gym in a mo, then I have boy watch as DH and FIL are doing our hall floor.

Another BBQ later.

No more Pimms I don't think though

Glad you had fun, Bella. Next time you do the drinking, DH does the driving?

YanknCock · 23/05/2010 08:26

bella, having thought about it a bit more, it's probably not a good idea to stay off sick. Once I am up to four separate absences the policy kicks in and I get shipped off to occy health. Have already had one day off sick since I've been back so probably best to drag myself in and look obviously pathetic all day so they realise I am trying!

I've got half a day booked off on Tuesday to go see my psychiatrist (hopefully getting discharged now--was still being followed up due to antenatal depression). Also have appt with GP for my ear, feel quite efficient getting them both booked in one afternoon.

wasting I love Quantum Leap. I had such a huge crush on Scott Bakula. My first roommate at uni used to take the piss out of me because I watched repeats of it every single night (with my sugar free hot cocoa in a Bugs Bunny mug).

Lizzy, I'm getting some Pimms tomorrow I think!

Yank, Sam Beckett and Agent Dale Cooper were my two first loves.

NormaSknockers · 23/05/2010 08:30

Has Vinny checked in since her date? Off to have a nose....

Fig roll Norma!

NormaSknockers · 23/05/2010 08:34

Oooooo Sam Beckett, I absolutely love Quantum Leap they repeat it every now & again on SciFi

Bella how's DSs head this morning?

So sign of Vinny - anyone seen her? Wonder if she's doing the walk of shame?

Mittz - fabulous new name, love it!

Bella, yes DH will drive next time and I will be drinking (sitter booked again for 5th June). It doesn't come cheap though this going out malarky... in total with the £20 for the sitter DH spent going on for £60. We are going out for something to eat next time.

Sounds like a nice day in the Lizzy household.

Yank - them seeing you look ill is good imo! Hope you get your ear sorted.

Alice, how are you feeling?

bellavita · 23/05/2010 08:37

Norma, just coffee for me please.

DS2's head looks remarkably good actually, the bump has gone down an awful lot, just a huge bruise is left - he caught his forehead just to the side. He ran into the open conseravatory door - but side on - so he caught the edge of the door.

Vinny is probably still wearing the poor fella out

Not too bad Bella thank you. I seem to be perfectly fine whilst lying down, but even getting up to go to the loo starts things off a bit. Just going very slowly and enjoying being back at home. Luckily the pains/cx do pass when i have been lying down for a while, so should mean labour isn't imminent! Luckily my hospital is the best in the area for prem babies and complications so that is also reassuring. Knowing my luck he will be late and be a complete bruiser!
