How pretty! Short though. Did people smile at you? Do you think they could see your bum?

Mittz · 22/05/2010 20:39

Oh, I chickened and wore Leggings BoF. I have a round derrier that makes short dresses even shorter so yes, they would have been able yo see my bum!

I have reached the age where I look at wee young things in short dresses and think.. 'well, I hope she doesn't try to bend over in THAT!!

Evening!

BoF, love the mannequin.

Bitter, poor you!

Hope everyone who's out having fun is having fun!

Lovely dress Mittz. I am much better thank you. Still got a cough and a croak, but so much better.

I've had a fun and productive day.

And a glass of wine.

YanknCock · 22/05/2010 21:38

Bitter, ughhh....sounds awful. DS has been having an explosive bottom lately due to the antibiotics. A few days ago DH phoned to say 'YOUR son has had a giant poo in his jumperoo, it's leaked on the floor and he is still bouncing in it!'. (He is always MY son when these things happen )

Lizzy, mmmmmm mud soup...that really made me smile.

Mittz, definitely mention the toenail thing to the doctor.

We had baked fish, oven chips and fresh broccoli/carrots for dinner, all very healthy. DS ate lots, his appetite seems to be coming back.

We only went out today to get decongestant at the pharmacy, have vegged out all day but it feels necessary. Have updated XH's website with info from XMIL tonight. He doesn't remember falling ill at all, didn't know what happened to him. At least he's off the ventilator now.

I am unimpressed with this heat/humidity. If I wanted this kind of thing, I'd move back to Wisconsin! In our area people were exposing far too much flesh today and seemed to be one of three colours: 1) Pale to the point of being blue, 2) lobster red from not wearing sun cream, or 3) orange from wearing far too much fake tan.

Instructions, crisps is food!

Yank, too many lager bellies strolling past my front window for my liking today.
Glad to hear XH is off the ventilator.

I've just logged into Myspace for the first time in about 2 years, in order to listen to new music. My profile photo was of me at 32 weeks pg.

BitOfFunInTheQuattro · 22/05/2010 23:05

Come and look at my mannequin again! I have dressed her up, in my new pyjamas and then lovely things I am too fat for...

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 22/05/2010 23:19

Have you a touch of Granny Murray about you bof?

BitOfFunInTheQuattro · 22/05/2010 23:44

I googled and got this...

BitOfFunInTheQuattro · 22/05/2010 23:57

It looked better when I wore it, but that was when I was a fair bit slimmer

Sorry bof, shouldn't assume everyone has preschool DC

There is a hideously annoying CBeebies show where a childminder called granny murry gets her charges to dress up her mannequin [claude] every morning. Google riversea fingle.[sp?]

You are hot!

bellavita · 23/05/2010 00:09

Hello

MrBella is a bit drunk (he talks loud when he has had a bit and his hand gestures get bigger!)

We have got home to find that they (including the sitter) had a water fight, but in all the excitement, Tom ran into the conseravtory door and has a huuuuuge bump on his head. Perhaps when the sitter comes again in two weeks time, water fights will be off the cards! Unfortunately, I forgot to leave my mobile number, although DS1 does know it and it is on his phone, but he seemed to have forgotten it, so the sitter rang her mum who happens to be away for the weekend (she is a nurse) and reassured her and told her what to do. She also rang back after half an hour to make sure Tom was ok. Am a little bit cross because there is dirt on my carpet (they have obviously been running through the house) and I don't allow shoes on in the house. Fun I don't mind, but when things get out of hand then I do.

Mitz - I like it!

Lizzy, glad the pimms went down well.

I need to go to bed now, so I will bid you good night.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/05/2010 00:13

Night Bella, I'm off myself soon.

BitOfFunInTheQuattro · 23/05/2010 00:22

"Fun I don't mind, but when things get out of hand then I do."

Why did that make me giggle?

Morning all. Coffee is on. Caffeine is supposed to help with congestion.

Am debating ringing in sick tomorrow. There is sod all to do until I go up to Wigan in early June, and if I feel as rotten as I do today I'm not sure it's a good idea to go.

BOF, loving your mannequin

bella, hope DH's head isn't too bad. Will you have the boys scrubbing the carpet this morning?

bellavita · 23/05/2010 07:59

Morning

Everyone is feeling really ratty! Probably because they went to bed late and the sitter kept Tom up later to make sure his head was ok. So it was about half ten when they went to bed and they were up real early this morning - it didn't help that DH got up at 4.40am because of a huge thirst and he needed a drink - this disturbed DS1.

Yank - the carpet just needs a hoover (I think) and it will hopefully be ok. DH says head is ok.... (I don't believe him) he was quaffing double gin and tonics like they were going out of fashion!! I was driving, so had one glass of champagne at the beginning of the night and then had slimline tonics.

DH is marshalling a walk for charity today and is taking DS2 with him. DS1 was going to go but since I have just pointed out to DH that no homework has been done at all this weekend then DS1 needs to stay here... [mean mum emoticon]

Yank, if you are not going to get another talking to at work, then maybe staying off is a good idea. What will they say?

Where is Norma with the drinks trolley?

What are we all up to today?

I am popping into town for a spot of shopping.

wastingaway · 23/05/2010 08:00

Morning Yank.

Coffee is also good for asthma.
One of many things I learned from watching Quantum Leap.

wastingaway · 23/05/2010 08:05

Morning Bella! 3 grumpy boys on your hands today then!

bellavita · 23/05/2010 08:10

Morning to you too wasting . Luckily, they will be out most of the day.
