Well dont ever study an english lit type course. you will NEVER look at fairy tales in the same way. ruined it for my sis.

Tea is in oven and will be ready to eat at 4:30pm tonight. Dont want him in bed before 6:30/7pm and not really up for him getting up at 6am. I hate mornings. I love the night and late nights. Just glad that his school have 2week half term because they have realised the kids need it.

I am ignoring and mning. best policy me feels. Wil cry if he falls asleep on the sofa though. it will happen about 5 mins before food is ready and he wont want to eat it. you can garantee it.

Mouse, I agree with Alice, DS has that squidge factor, you just want to cuddle him.

So, have roasted polenta with veg bolognese tye concoction for dinner. Then hopefully a run when DH gets back.

alice - DS is a bit of a wuss about films, he loves Snow White tho. fantasia might be nice, it's not got much of a story line.

defluff - oh I got lots of that as well with DS, his first summer, partly I think because DS had a bit of an orange tinge due to eating too much carrot , and partly because of the Jewish blood in my family. It's amazing how nosey people are - one random sales assistant in John Lewis asked me "is he dark like his father then"

work - sigh - I keep getting asked things on the phone I don't know the answer to (not my fault, doing a different job as overtime to what I am trained to do), and am a bit fed up of having to ask people the answers and them being a bit martyred over it.

Just popping in quickly before I go to work, will catch up later.

Saf - DS has his school disco on Thurs so I won't have to rush off quite so early

alice - not sure how old dd is? dd (5)'s favourites are all the shrek films, lilo and stitch (quite funny for adults too), kronk's new groove and emperor's new groove (funny for adults also). Madagascar films are good. She likes all the tinkerbell ones but the latest she is scared of the rats at the end. Can you tell we have the Disney movie channel? Sleeping Beauty is too dark for her, as is Snow White.

She loves all the Barbie as Rapunzel, Mermaida, Fairytopia, Nutcracker etc films (turns them into pink nightmares waiting for their princes for ages though )

I am due a visit from Uncle Fester.. (I bloody hate the term AF so am making my own up) And I look and feel like Uncle Fester when I am due on. I am scarily crabby. I can't go to K boxing. The DC's Dad has cancelled and I think it is because the written report from SS has upset him.

Have been to see the psychiatrist and have decided to forego the discharge for another six months even though I am doing quite well and coping with all the mini-disasters we've had recently. DH was in favour of that though he said after he felt bad about 'sticking his oar in', but I've said over and over again, he's the one who ends up looking after me if I'm not coping, so he gets a say. It's not a big deal really anyway, just means the CPN will check in with me once in a while to see how things are going, and I'll see the psychiatrist again in 6 months and continue to get repeat AD prescriptions from GP.

Then went to the GP as I discovered the antibiotics I was given yesterday have strong warnings on them about breastfeeding which I was not advised of. Going to start another thread about that as too long to get into here. Had DS checked over again and it seems he is pretty much finally well (apart from a little cough and sniffle). So if I can get myself well, that would make things just peachy. Looking forward to shopping with Jet this weekend!

I have been thinking a bit too much about processed potato products lately and don't feel it is that healthy (the obsessing part that is!) really want some potato smilies....

pie, sigh. I am TotalChaos, and I have not had a pie in nearly 6 months. (have to watch the sat fats and avoid pastry etc coz of the high cholesterol). Also haven't had cheesecake either, but I could just get off my arse and make myself a low fat one with quark...

but potatoe smilies are lovely , though i think i might have to rain check as i am going to fall into bed as soon as ds has gone down and i have rung my credit card company up, yelled and shouted at customer services, emailed formal complaint and sent a copy to trading standards.

stupid fuckers who dont seem to care that they dont send me a bill and then pester me from the day after the missing bill is apparantly due. What pisses me off most is they claim to have sent it but dont give a flying fuck about why it hasnt arrived. in the days of id theft to me that is a big problem. Stupid fuckers.
