Nope,

Water retention could be it, I can't exercise and haven't been very mobile as my hips are playing up again. In too much pain.

Mouseface · 25/05/2010 13:58

Aunt fanny? As in AF is still here = I'm still on my period?? Or am I totally wrong.

I'm rubbish aren't I.

Lizzylou · 25/05/2010 14:06

Aunty Flo, means the painter are in/you're on your period.

Have just shredded, am v sweaty. Just did Level 1 as haven't done it for a time. Depending on time/boys/work/DH will try and go for a run tonight.

aunt flo!!!!!

Thanks Lizzy!!!!! What's shredded?

SAF - I'm on soup and a muffin tonight, and for the rest of the week after indulging last night

Had a wholemeal ham salad pitta for lunch. Still hungry.........

More water.......

Lizzylou · 25/05/2010 14:29

It's this Execise DVD, Mouseface, 30 Day Shred, you get 20mins of this American bird coming out with such gems as "You can't just phone it in" and "You aint getting these abs for free" etc. It is v good though, bloody hurts.

Off to pick up boys now.

SAF,I can't do much washing until Friday and new dryer comes, I told DH we needed a washingline outside

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/05/2010 14:31

Hello!

Friend has been and gone. Think I'll have beans on toast for dinner as I am working tonight and cba to cook.

DH can sort himself out, and that means I'll be 400 cals under for the day

Haven't shredded this week but did half an hour on the exercise bike earlier.

Saf - thanks, that's reminded me I'll need to put a wash on. If I don't do at least 1 load a day then I am swamped by the end of the week.

DD is being an absolute angel today and playing nicely by herself. Dare I risk a cup of tea or will that turn her into a clingy monster?

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 25/05/2010 14:47

Defluff: I look like my aunt and nan, my sisters look very similiar. When we were little people used to say to my mum, how are you daughters and who's their little friend Personally i love the facvt that my colouring has skipped a generation. Ds is lucky as both me and his dad glow in the sun or burn. He has inherited his grandfather's colouring and goes a glorius tan colour. Sickening 6 shades darker then either of us.

I have skated though not put too much effort in. my legs are tired. My body is tired. Have had a lovely conversation after training though. Which was nice. all food related I feel i shallnt be losing as much weight as intended with a posible bake off happening

It is almost time to get ds, i have done nothing and have a mountain to do. Someone give me some motivation to get stuff done. pretty please! I really cant be arsed and yet i have to get organised for 2 weeks away.

jetcat · 25/05/2010 14:54

hope all is well with everyone, and those who were poorly are all better now

I have just had a call from the drummer of Status Quo!!

He asked to speak to the Head and I said "oh, is he expecting your call?" and he said to me, well I wouldn't think so, how many phone calls does he get from famous drummers?" (twat of the highest order me thinks)!!

Alicetheinvisible · 25/05/2010 15:19

What a twat Bella! So famous that they have to do gigs round the racecourses in the summer

Jet - hi! Yay for lovely glasses

SAF - i think gardening counts, healthy in so many ways.

DD is being cute, cuddled up in her duvet on the sofa watching Disney's Robin Hood

What other Disney films would anyone suggest? She does like animals and has recently started on about fairies

Oh, and i don't think i told you, but yesterday DH had a student on work experience with him and he bought her back for lunch with him. House is a tip, i was still in my pyjamas and feeling a bit hormonal and She was very pretty and young and posh, but very nice and today she gave DH and us a box of chocolates.

BitOfFunInTheQuattro · 25/05/2010 15:31

Did you tell him that he was otherwise engaged on an important matter with Suzi Quattro, bella

Mouseface · 25/05/2010 15:31

Depends how old Alice - Tinkerbell is good for DDs.

Finding Nemo?

Jungle Book or The Aristocats for some of the older stuff.

Alicetheinvisible · 25/05/2010 15:33

Ooh, yes aristocats, she would love that one.

Mittz · 25/05/2010 15:43

Back in a mo... not had a minute but hiya to all xx

Mouseface · 25/05/2010 15:44

Drama alert!!

DD, 11, has just come home from school in tears after falling out, for the hundreth time, with another group of girls in her class.

Pha, me thinks, what's the big deal, you'll all be BFF tomorrow but no.

The mummy in me has to step away, put best understanding head on and defuse the situation.

It's the same every week. She changes her friends more than the weather. I can't keep up.

Having carefully asked what's up, got the debrief and tears, given huge hugs, told her I love her heaps, she's now scurried off to her room with cookies and milk.

DS is hooked up to his pump feed so I can't go after her to make sure she's really ok. The risk of him choking is too great.......

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 25/05/2010 15:45

Peter pan was a favourite with ds for a while.
What about snow white (love the tortoise), cinderella, sleeping beauty etc. Actually i'd love to see beauty and the beast not seen that in ages!

It is the end of the world apparently. Must mean it is nearly half term. One large wobbly from ds and tears the whole works. He will probably be in bed for 6:30 again tonight. Not thinking he is going to make the evening concerts at this rate. A bit much for the reception kids, me thinks the school was being a bit too optomistic there.

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 25/05/2010 15:46

Pump feed mouse?

Mouseface · 25/05/2010 15:48

ULAQ - yes, he's NG tube fed, always has been.

He doesn't eat at all. Must update my profile actually and put some pics of him on......

Lizzylou · 25/05/2010 15:50

at Famous drummer and Suzi Quattro

I used to fancy the lead singer of Status Quo when I was younger, Francis summat Think it was down to the "Sweet Caroline" song.
Soooo wanted to be Suzi Quattro but Mom said I should aim for Olivia Newton John as she was less "butch"

Have been told by 3 people today that I look like I've lost weight so why do the scales on go upwards?????

Hey Jet!!! Lovely to see you

SAF - Nasel Gastric tube. It goes to his tummy via his nose to feed him.

Yes, he's disabled. He has Pierre Robin sequence making him a grade 4 intubation due to his narrow airway, a hard cleft palate, motor skills developmental delay, Tetralogy of Fallot, a heart condition that's been kind of repaired but with small hole around the patch. He'll need more heart surgery as he gets older.

Along with glue ear, making him hearing impaired and sensory feeding disorder.

He doesn't crawl or shuffle or cruise, he just sits and occasionally rolls. He's nearly 13 months old and I care for him full time.

I don't begrudge him a second of my time.

We are lucky he's made it this far.

Have updated my profile with some pics of him.....

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 25/05/2010 16:10

I would second the putting on of muscle mass lizzy - it is heavier then fat. if the dress size shrinks that is what matters. You need very specialist diet and exercise program to strip down to lean muscle. Normal muscle is denser and weighs more. annorexic is not a good look, muscles come with a weight price.

DOnt envy you that mouseface, it sounds hard going. Very hard going.

I am knackered. Ds is going to be a pain in the ass tonight i can tell. I would keep him off school tomo but he needs to go so that he knows what he is doing in the performance on thursday. He is too tired for wednesday night. I predict sleeping boy in car to daddy's on friday followed by child who is too awake to sleep when get there, followed by tears and tempers on saturday. AH well. least is goes away with his father sunday. I shall have rest get loads done
