Hello all, Bella your evening sounds lovely.

DEM I am v impressed with DS finding himself a hockey player and a figure skater to teach him to skate!

Morning.

DD has fallen into the coffee table again.

The bruise she had from last time was just fading and now it looks like she is going to have another one.

Saf - I can't believe your friend
Enjoy your meal and I hope your Mum loves her pressie

Lizzy - sounds like a fab night

DEM, I'm glad you and DS can both enjoy the rink.

Double, If you work out how to magic some money, share the secret.

We are off to Salcey Forest in a bit, so if I don't post this evening, send out a search party.

Gigantaur · 16/05/2010 12:04

morning girls.

Reality is the singstar queen. Don't mention it in front of her or you'll have her inviting you over for a tune or two

Bitter Dd seemed to be replacnig each bump with a new one for ages. even now she is always covered in bruises. I think some children are just prone to being clumsy.

I am surprisingly free of hangover today. went for lunch with the Brighton girls yesterday. met at 12:30. had a boozy but beautifull lunch and then off to the pub. well I finally left at about 10
had a fantastic time though.

TrillianAstra · 16/05/2010 12:43

Sounds like a lovely day Gigi. DP has a cousin in Brighton, is it a nice town to visit?

I am packing today, cos we're going away on Tuesday (volcano permitting).

Had boiled eggs for breakfast - bought from a random house on the way home from work that has a sign outside saying eggs for sale. I expect they are happy chickens

VinegarTits · 16/05/2010 15:07

Been for a walk, a bit stressful but DC's have been exercised alongside the dog.

VinegarTits · 16/05/2010 15:33

oh ironing, i have a pile of that, might just iron what i need for tomorrow though as i cba

back in bed now, might have a little snooze

TrillianAstra · 16/05/2010 15:47

Go Vinny!

Just about to go watch cricket and drink beer with some friends from work.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 16/05/2010 15:48

Trills sounds miy ide aof pre DC heaven

FiveGoMadInDorset · 16/05/2010 16:03

And DD had a complete meltdown on our wlak right in front of a couple with 9 month old twins, they laughed and said thanj yo for showing us what we have to look forward to

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 16/05/2010 16:30

Hello, We are back - didn't get lost and the weather was gorgeous!

DS is being a whiny sod today, which took the shine off a bit.

But now we are home he is playing nicely with his lego, so I think the exercise did us all some good.

Gigi - I think both of my DC are like that, I put it down to them both being very active.

There's not much chance of hurting yourself while sitting on the floor playing nicely.

Go vinny, you obviously have hidden depths!

Fanny, you seem to be very outdoorsy, always off for a ramble!

CBA to do a roast tonight, so I am going to make a chilli and have DH cook the pork tomorrow while I am at work.

Hope everyone is ok

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 16/05/2010 16:31

Forgot to ask Trills - where are you off to?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 16/05/2010 16:36

Bitter - we have alot of countryside available to us for free entertainment.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 16/05/2010 16:36

Oh and I can sympathise with whiney DC on walks

Lizzylou · 16/05/2010 16:38

OOh Trills, that sounds a nice afternoon.

Vinny, well done you on showing the blokes how it is done.

Bitter, well done on not getting lost

Fanny, well done on providing a public service to "green" parents of babies, they sound nice though.

SAF, am intrigued by your breakfast, I think I'd like that. Though am trying to cut down on cheese.

Gigi, your meet up sounds great, I won't mention Singstar to Reality, I was truly shocking. Bloody loved it though.

CHicken and veg stir fry with black bean sauce and wholemeal noodles for dinner.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 16/05/2010 16:55

Sounds lovely fanny.

(though not the whiney DC)

MitsubishiWarrioress · 16/05/2010 17:35

Another poxy one Lizzy. How long do they spread for? DD got her first ones on Thurs night and she is still getting fresh ones. She also 'feels' very poorly, not her usual 'battle on regardless' self.

Her Dad sat with her whilst I did DS's shopping. Solved taking the money gobbler dude himself, by shopping via phone re colour and style etc. So I got to have coffee and the most lush Apple and Raspberry Muffin in peace. .

Hope all goes well Trills . I can't remember where you off this time.

Wow Vinny. I wish I could do something like that. I always make a tit fool of myself where pub games are concerned.

I am about to iron. First mine and then a customers. I have had a coca cola as DD cried nearly all night.

VinegarTits · 16/05/2010 18:13

sorry to hear about your poxy children mitts and lizzy, hope they get over it sharpish

Have had a mis-matched tea here, i cooked ds1 stuffed peppers and ds1 chicken nuggets and chips and i ended up having a bit of rice, a few chips and a big salad

and ive just had a martini rosso with pomegranate juice, i really must stop drinking so much

Lizzylou · 16/05/2010 18:19

Mitts, DS2 isn't getting any more now, fingers crossed this morning they were just popping up at a rate of knots. He is hardly affected at all though, like DS1 with his shingles. I think he must have it mildly, he has been racing round the garden.
Hope your DD feels better soon, it is so uncomfortable and energy sapping (for both of you!).

jetcat · 16/05/2010 18:28

evening all

Mitts and Lizzy - for the pox, fingers crossed it goes soon

Trills - fingers crossed for you too, bet you will have a lovely time

well, didnt manage to get essay finished today, so i need to decide whether i will actually do it, or just miss it out and get on with revision Doesnt help that the essay is on things which arent in the exam

But, lovely paella for tea, with fruit and only a teeny bit jelly for afters

DidEinsteinsMum · 16/05/2010 19:08

evening.

Marks a comfey spot in the corner and goes to tackle over tired child bedtime.

Catch up in a bit...
