Whereabouts are you Norma?

What's Lizzy's weather like, we always get that a couple hours later.

Alice, I'll give it a go, anything to help. I croak!

SAf, the cheapest buggy I found was about a fiver, £15 for a blue one, so pink one it is! He hasn't asked for a buggy, but he has a doll he likes and he loves pushing things about (including me ) so for a fiver, why not?

East Anglia in a tweeny village that no-one's ever heard of....though you may well have heard of the adjoining village after the awful documentary

Wasting, sunny here, you'll be relieved to know, not too cold either.

Bella, I have had a look and seems she is OK now.

SAF, waking the boys up has been a long time coming. DH and I were only talking last night about how we used to take DS1 for a walk at 5.30am the summer we first moved here

Norma, forgot to say, congrats you on being so close to goal, you're doing amazingly

Bitter, you have a lazy day, you've earned it after working yesterday.

Mitts, how is DD now (apart from not letting you sleep)

Vinny, at Steptoes sex noises, bleurgh.

Right, off to do some (more) work

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 04/05/2010 10:12

I have just ordered my new glasses!

My current pair are so old i am not legal to drive in them

So I have ordered these

Can't wait to be speccy four eyes again

Alicetheinvisible · 04/05/2010 10:13

Mitts - i have a glass next to me, but not being great at actually drinking it

Might go and get the washing in as it is getting blacker and blacker here.....

Saf, there is a SCS there.

I spend too much time at Toys R Us, clearly

NormaSknockers · 04/05/2010 10:21

Awww thanks Lizzy

wastingaway · 04/05/2010 10:28

Thanks Lizzy, I've put the washing out.

See you later!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/05/2010 10:42

Lizzy..DD is 'ok' thanks. Very sweet and husky. Her coughing has settled because she is quietly drawing and watching CBeebies and I can't go to bed .

If I went to bed she would start coughing..it is a conspiracy...doo dooo doo doo dooo...

Glasses are nice Bitter.. I love my Glasses.

SAF - DH and i were saying that if we have to replace our sofas while still have small children then a brown leather sofa that will look better with age and wear would be the only way to go. Wipe clean!

Hi I have not posted on this thread before, hope it is ok to join in?
I am very very overweight to scared to get on the scales but I am the fattest that I have ever been probably have at least seven stone to lose.
So today is d day, just walked the dog for an hour and am going to go on the wii fit for a bit now.
I have 2 dc, a boy of nearly nine who has severe autism and a girl of seven. Dh is too kind to tell me to lose weight but dd keeps telling me that I really need to go on a diet, nice girl that she is.
I only joined mumsnet last year and have mostly been lurking although do post fairly regually on a couple of threads.

Hi hairy (sorry but that has made me [girn] )

you are very welcome to join in, we are all losing weight in various ways, so you just need to find the right way for you

i am doing WW online and have lost about 5 lbs in the last month, others use the lord ford to track calorie intake

and shiney does her own weird extreme diets, that tend to change weekly

Alicetheinvisible · 04/05/2010 11:05

Hello hairy
Have you got a plan? Lots on here use either WW or FoodFocus to help them (they just like the graphs really )Do you comfort eat? Do you think portion sizes are your problem or do tend to eat unhealthily due to the time factor? I ask as if we know more about you then we can be more support

I am starving Resisting a cake because i really want some crisps with lunch

VinegarTits · 04/05/2010 11:06

obviously i am far less polite that SAF

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/05/2010 11:06

Hi Hairy...yes, do join Welcome.

We have some very good 'losers' on here (over 50lb) they are very inspiring.

I don't follow a plan but some of the lovely ladies on here are good for that sort of information.

Drink lots of water for starters...go on...pour yourself a nice glass now and raise a toast the first day of becoming a shiney cultster .

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/05/2010 11:07

Lolol at Vinny Girning at Hairy's name..that made me girn even more Vinny...

hairyclaireyfairy · 04/05/2010 11:07
