For people who like to eat a lot of fruit and veg but also need to lose weight. We suggest 10 portions of fruit and veg a day, plus at least 10 mins of extra exercise. Weigh in day is Monday. No Atkins stuff or anything like that please , just healthy eating and exercising.

how about woodbridge, it is pretty and nice and there are good places to eat
or sutton hoo which is really near woodbridge, very heducational and good place for picnicking or posh cafe lunch with nice quiche type of food
either would be about the right distance for us if they were ok with you

i have done wk 5 run 2 - 8 mins x 2
it was fine
i keep thinking someone is tricking me here, but it keeps being fine
i think i am getting SLOWER as i do them - does that matter? i mean the first few weeks i would really try to stride along and now i just amble as i know there's a long way to go - is that ok do you reckon?

was a really nice day actually and dp got back in time to do bedtime
i will now have to listen to excrutiating detail of how he has learnt to run in an entirely new way
they videoed them all about 4 times apparently and played it back so they could see themselves improving throughout the day

cereal, a mighty fine mango, melon, raisins, seeds = 4
half a cheese muffin and butter, apple = 1
philadelphia and salad wrap
banana = 1
salad with spinach, rocket, cuc, toms, chickpeas, alfalfa, egg, potato, cheese and cashews = 3
chocolate

what can i get for snacks in the evening that is indulgent and sweet but not disastrous? the last time i bought mini brownies thinking i could just have one or two each night, well, PAH to that
i really like stodgy and chewy textures with a sweet taste
i sometimes end up eating loads more fruit which tbh i probably don't need, and i feel unsatisfied
i want something cakey

no one has said I have lost weight. My mum was here yesterday and she went on and on about how she needed to lose weight and how my brother was going to try to lose weight and she didn't ask anything about my weight.

Anyway, my intake today

2 rollmops
melon, lots
2 jacobs with morrocan houmus
satsuma
strawberries
delish ginger and chilli chicken with cubed taters
little bit of trifle

onyl 6sh portions. Thought I'd done better

they have this new thing in M+S which is a platter of fruit and veg and it is 5 portions
it costs something awful like £3.75 but it has got cut up apple and grapes with a fruit compote to dip them in, raisins and sunflower seeds, then on the other side celery and carrot sticks, plus hummus dip
i was genuinely excited when i saw it
i may need to test one, purely altruistically, for the thread

Pointy - that top is fab, I love the sleeves. I might even try one on when I am next going past.

Franny - I quite like BGT too. Only in the early bit though where they are hilariously bad. I am indifferent to Simon Cowell.

I cooked all morning, shepherds pie, soup, treacle tart, jam tart and then after we got our shrubs near the sea we did 2p machines and stopped in a little cafe on the seafront. I confess I did resist fish and chips not because I am joyless but because I didn't really fancy them tbh. I had a nice cuppa tea. With sugar.

I will have treacle tart and custard tomorrow night. After weigh-in.

LOL at everyone denying joylessness
i am sometimes finding myself not really fancying food that is a bit lardy
we had lunch out and i left half of it, the chips were undercooked and the lasagne was greasy
we did then get cake from m+s and i didn't leave any of that

i weighed in this morning as i am going to have a lie in tomorrow and breakfast in bed
dp is back and has told me lots of things about ratios and things per second and how he was the most improved in the class
blessim
