For people who like to eat a lot of fruit and veg but also need to lose weight. We suggest 10 portions of fruit and veg a day, plus at least 10 mins of extra exercise. Weigh in day is Monday. No Atkins stuff or anything like that please , just healthy eating and exercising.

tiger i don't know if it would help, but i found almost immediately that i stopped eating huge amounts of crap, i felt better and had more energy
i mean almost the day i started - maybe it was psychological but it really worked
what helps me also is to buy some really nice, healthy but delicious things - stuff you really want to eat - and have them all ready for you to eat that day

i had a superb shopping day today - or maybe a disastrous day - depending on whether you are thinking about the contents of my wardrobe or the contents of my wallet, ha ha

everything i tried on looked nice
this never happens
i bought and bought

probably tomorrow the magic will have worn off and i will turn back into a pumpkin

This morning I weighed 10st 13 so only 1lb lost but that makes 9lb in total.

weetabix and o juice
banana
baker tater with bit grated cheese, coleslaw and salad
kit kat
pork and courgette and hazelnut sweet and sour stir fry (light on noodles and heavy on courgette and lean pork)

probably only 5 portions

oops missed out my dinner (and cake )

small bit lemon cake
tofu, red pepper, courgette, mushroom kebabs, rice and wild rice = 3

i am going to eat more things quite soon
am hungry
but that's 10 already

and TWO MORE PEOPLE said i had lost a lot of weight
and i wore daft new tapered 80s type trousers and got a compliment and no-one laughed, well not openly

right rather delayed here is this week's spreadsheet

franny - lost 1.5 total 7.5 lb
ellie - lost 1 lb (total?)
pointy - lost 1 lb total 9lb
pink - gained 2 lb total 7 lb but completed 10k so gets extra brownie points
avi - still refuses to weigh but states she is "actually going to try now"
tigerfeet - wants motivation, come on tiger!
guad - excused
lemur - AWOL - hope ok?

who have i missed?

hmm new battery
the old one was down to about 3 mins of power, this one has 6 hours
i could go and MN in the park again (our wifi theoretically goes that far)

well have run 2.6 miles
pink HOW oh HOW do you keep interested in this
i feel fab now but while i was doing it i just thought OHH this is LONG and DULL and i CAN'T do longer distances than this
i am going to try to keep going as i want to do the 5k now, am only 2 weeks from finishing i think
but after that what next? i can't run with anyone i don't think as am too uncompromising, would drive me mad having to keep up with them

belated happy birthday, pink! Had puter problems yesterday so wasn;t around.

I've done well with teh food this week but now it's friday so I've had:

weetabix, o juice
banana and a cadbury's creme egg because some bugger brought them into the staff room when I was v hungry. goddam
small ham, cucumber, tomato sandwich
chicken breast in a lovely tomato sauce with olives and green beans and a little couscous
strawberry sponge with strawberreis

mmmm

6 and a bit portions

Tonight I will be on the wine
