For people who like to eat a lot of fruit and veg but also need to lose weight. We suggest 10 portions of fruit and veg a day, plus at least 10 mins of extra exercise. Weigh in day is Monday. No Atkins stuff or anything like that please , just healthy eating and exercising.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! Tatties!!! {{xxxxxxxxxxxx}}

how clever of you to recognise me.
I have missed you and was think about you last week when we went to the tropical place and dsses insisted on me taking a 10000th pic of them in the climbing tree
How are you?
I have lost your address

my pmt fizz came to a head yesterday when I bellowed at ds1 for losing his protractor and I did I that awful ''you ALWAYS lose EVERYTHING...'' spiel. I apologised later.
In my defence I am also hosting a huge joint pary at the weekend with Too Many People. And DH has been away this week. so I am a teeeny bit stressed anyway.

pointydog · 21/05/2010 19:39

This morning I weighed 10st 12! 10st somethting!! Very excited. But I am playing it down because now it's the weekend and I have already had lasagne and will be having mucho wine later and maybe cheesecake.

CoupleofKooks · 21/05/2010 21:07

OP posts:
pointydog · 21/05/2010 21:26

a sequin sundress? crikey jingo. You must have bedazzled the whole town in today's sunshine

CoupleofKooks · 21/05/2010 21:57

it's only got a little wee strip of sequins
just barely any sequins at all

elliemental · 22/05/2010 10:11

it is a beautiful dress inmo and ought to be worn lots.

I am wearing bad cut off shorts and a superman vest
and one of my eyes is all red and oozy. That's a good look for a party, eh

pointydog · 22/05/2010 20:29

Sunshine and weekend vibe is getting the better of me.

Apple
corned beef, avocado and salad leaves sandwich (no butter, no dressing)
then the barbecue
a shish kebab in a tortilla wrap with yoghurt and tomato and olive salad
new potatoes in mustard and lemon dressing with more tomato salad
strawberries

wine wine wine

6 portions max

CoupleofKooks · 22/05/2010 21:31

well i have been very restrained for a change

cereal fruit seeds etc = 4
beans on toast with cheese = 1
a fairy cake at an art thing we went to, was slmost compulsory (was nasty cake also)
pizza with roasted veg and cheese on, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, sweetcorn = 3
dried fruit and a SMALL amount of dark chocolate = 2

no running yet
maybe tomorrow
but it's hot
and i'm tired

oh you had to mention the ruddy boots LOL

you know full well you were foaming at the mouth about the missing cream
the sales girl was shaking slightly as she hid the sign saying "cream teas" under the counter

I'm back from my hols!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had a wonderful wonderful week and we want to move to Devon (except the houses are insanely expensive!)

I've got my 10k today and am very nervous. Will catch up properly later hopefully. Only we have an intermittent internet fault and I may not be able to log on again later

Oh and I put on about 3lb on hols

CoupleofKooks · 23/05/2010 08:42

pink good luck!!! hope it isn't too hot for you and that the miles pass quickly

OP posts:
CoupleofKooks · 23/05/2010 17:21

i have spent 90% of the weekend sorting out ds1's room and moving things from boxes and putting other things into other boxes
it was a complete tip but now is beautiful - will last about a week before rot sets in again

it is too hot to eat much
we all feel headachey and a bit blah

OP posts:
pointydog · 23/05/2010 18:38

I am feeling very full.

grapes and orange juice
two bits of french bread
lean sliced pork, cucumber, tomato and olive salad
2 little squares of cheddar
2 chicken goujons, tortilla wrap, houmus, pickled baby beetroot, red pepper

8 or 9 portions. The breadiness has filled me up

ThePinkOne · 23/05/2010 19:33

Urgh. It was awful. Hot hot hot. I walked far more than I should've. An hour and 12 mins. Disappointing but never mind. I think I'll have raised about £100 when it's all in.

2 Weetabix for breakfast and a banana. Crackers and cheese for lunch cause we haven't been shopping so nothing fresh in! Then went to the coop and had salad (leaves from the garden!!) and beans and pasta. Not bad. Not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow. My hols might have scuppered my chances of hitting my birthday target.

Our dc bedrooms stay tidy Fran but the playroom/dining room goes through the major tidy then back to pigsty cycle often!

of vegger cream teas. DH occasionally asks when we're meeting up again!

Well done on the 10 something pointy Have a sticker. I think my next target will be to get to and remain at 9 something. Or maybe 9 and a half so that when the extra bit creeps back on I'm still 9 something!

pointydog · 23/05/2010 20:30

Most impressed with your 10k run, pink. Have a fizzy drink to celebrate

CoupleofKooks · 23/05/2010 21:21

pink your time seems marvellous to me
well done, in that heat as well! i think you're fab to manage it

just been out walking ds2 to sleep - except he didn't drop off after an hour, so dp kindly took over
it is a twitcher's wonderland out there
we often see nice birds but they were all really CLOSE for some reason - maybe just fewer people around so they were more settled
a woodpecker feeding on the ground about 12 foot away, and the heron standing stock still in the lake about 20 foot from me
also the tern that seems to have decided to live here for now

cereal fruit seeds = 4
big salad inc leaves from garden = 3.5
veg in a cheese sauce = 3.5
carrot cake
chocolate
celery and peanut butter = 1

12 portions, plus hour's stroll, i am back on track
am hoping to be able to declare a bit lost tomorrow, but i seem to take it off at the start of the week and put it on again by the end
