For people who like to eat a lot of fruit and veg but also need to lose weight. We suggest 10 portions of fruit and veg a day, plus at least 10 mins of extra exercise. Weigh in day is Monday. No Atkins stuff or anything like that please , just healthy eating and exercising.

the summer book very strange and good i think

will wait to hear about dates, was just looking in diary thinking 'hoorah june is not as mad as may' but it IS
there is just loads and loads of home ed stuff on atm
i can't keep up
i hate missing out on stuff, so i book up for everything, but some days we have 3 events on
i must stop somehow

cereal mango of deliciousness blueberries raisins seeds = 4
cream cheese wrap with carrot and cuc = .5
celery sticks with peanut butter on = 1
macaroni cheese, broccoli, carrots = 2
mini magnum shared with ds2
graze box = grapes, cranberries, dark choc buttons, pecans, honey roasted cashews = 1.5

i just seem to eat all the time
i am always at home ed events eating and people are starting to notice and laugh at me
i turned up at something in a rush this morning, about 11 am, and instantly got my sandwiches out as i was ravenous
i AM losing weight though - slowly - and i don't eat crap ALL day
do i?

I seem to have inexplicably put on two pounds and ds2 has been sick all night

so I am going back to bed depressed as I am exhausted and many plans I have made have to be cancelled now and to top it off I am fat.

i hate the days after they've been sick and you can't go anywhere
and you aren;t fat, it is probably stair climbing muscle

ds2 was up loads int he night
i don't know why and i didn't really try to find out, i just gave him paracetamol in the end as i knew he would go to sleep then
i don't even know if he was ill, i just was desperate to sleep
that is not very good parenting is it

we have firefighter coming to give a talk today
and the cygnets hatched! and we saw them on their first swim round the lake yesterday (well we said it was their first swim, they were probably gallivanting all over it when we weren't looking)
they are so perfectly fluffy and soft looking

I have had to get up again and start the washing. I do feel rather pissed off and it is my pet hate and I am freako about it so I keep thinking about who could have given it to us and where he got it and so on, trying to BLAME someone!

He is lying on the sofa nibbling pear [I can never starve them if they are hungry] and I am about to have an enormous fruit salad and then I will eat some garlic.

I doubt it is the stairs, I haven't done it that much tbh. I think it is more to do with quiche and crisps and cake and houmous and so on. But thank you anyway.

Though putting on two pounds in two days when it has taken you two WEEKS to lose it is rather disheartening. I will be a write-off on this weeks weigh-in.

I like swans, but I am a little bit scared of them.

the advice now is not to starve them, let them eat if they are hungry (BRAT diet best)

i bet your 2 lb vanishes again
it would take more effort than that to put on 2 lb for good, it'll just be a blip

have run 2.5 miles in 25 mins

cereal bluebers unripe mango that looked ripe pineapple raisins seeds = 4
cheese and pickle rolls, quorn rolls

excellent surprise afternoon tea in local coffee shop that has started serving finger sandwiches and petit fours on a tiered cake plate
shared with boys so had 2 finger sandwiches and 2 mini cake things, was fab

half banana = .5
veg curry, chickpeas, mushrooms, butternut squash, carrots, cauli, coconut, almonds, raisins and rice = 4
2 satsumas, grapes, babybel, chocolate, peanuts = 2

have booked hairdo for tomorrow, can't afford it really but hair is atrocious
dp says sundress weather is approaching apparently
we are going to see avi on sunday yay! bet we will be in fleeces and wellies instead of Nice Dresses

He is a bit better now, thanks, but he stayed on the sofa most of the day. No more 'illness' but then I can't see where it would have come from after he was up most of the night, poor thing.

Are you seeing Avi on Sunday? Hope the weather is nice! I am hoping the rest of us don't secumb to bug. Dinner FULL of garlic and I am an enormous lemon poppy seed cake in the oven at this very moment.

It was a recipe in guardian weekend and it was a right faff separating eggs and whisking everything in anal orders so it better be nice!

how was the cake? is ds ok?
yes we're seeing avi tomorrow at sutton hoo, have to concoct some healthy looking picnic so she doesn't come back and tell you all we ate pies and cake all day

have had hair done and bought new shoes
both really needed doing but obv it stung the bank balance a bit

had cereal etc for breakfast = 3
cheese muffin and butter
m+s salad and hummus wrap thing, maybe 1 portion in there? it had butternut squash and salad leaves and lentils i think
going to have veg bolognese with pasta, cheese, asparagus, broccoli, and carrots = 3

Actually - I have lots of work to do in the next couple of weeks and each time I come on here I sit refreshing active convos again mindlessly. I have got to get on and do some stuff so am going to avoid logging on for a bit.

i shall sit here and get thinner all by myself (except am not actually losing any weight )

glad you are well guad but sorry things sound a bit stressful
hope you enjoy the work and get lots done

i saw avi and it was a fab day
i wish we saw her more often
i can report her bottom is as fine as ever
we sat and ate local vegetable soup and cake and talked a lot, it was lovely [sigh]

right if anyone is reading this it is weigh in day tomorrow
you will automatically be top vegger as i have lost nothing
come and goad me into doing a bit better

Right. I weighed in on mum's scales and I have stayed the same/possibly put on half a lb. So not bad considering I sat in the car for 5 hours eating sweets, crisps and biscuits

I ran on Thursday then our internet went down so I couldn't find out how far, but it was

I haven't been on because the thread title is proving a bit too personal. it isn't funny any more...I tried and tried and lost not an oz! It's my party next weekend, and I had to get heifr-sized dress with good corsetry

I am a bearable shape, but as denying myself nice things made no fecking difference to my weight, I give up.

For now.

Not even the stress of organising a party with someone who is deplorably lastminute.com is helping shift the weight...

I had hoped to lose the weight befre my birthday but that ain't gonna happen so I'm going to eat what i like, enjoy my birthday and then try again in June.

good plan not to worry about it for a while and then try again

tiger just take care of yourself first of all and then think about weight another time
healthy eating will help you feel better all round though (i know it is difficult)
