For people who like to eat a lot of fruit and veg but also need to lose weight. We suggest 10 portions of fruit and veg a day, plus at least 10 mins of extra exercise. Weigh in day is Monday. No Atkins stuff or anything like that please , just healthy eating and exercising.

what is a 4?

Have eaten nothing but a bacon sarnie today...but I have been tending veg, does that count?

sigh. not a very inspiring day weather wise, windy nd grey and chilly. Am shattered after helping with ds's school trip yesterday.
Have been invited out tonight but BGT is calling...
dh has gone out to buy a mountain bike so we can all go cycling together. Me and the boys do already. I give him 3 goes before he decides he can't for some reason.
Our town is a bitch for cycling. No rpoper routes and really hilly - but very good excersise

elliemental · 08/05/2010 15:07

Kooks, can you wear leggings under and a nice wrap over your dress? Is lovely dress. I feel your pain at not being the weather for it.
i bought a divine red maxi dress at Easter when it was boiling, with fantasies of wafting elegantly and cooly (if a little plumply)round town. But have actually been digging jumpers out of retirement

Guadalupe · 08/05/2010 17:35

Thanks, pink, but I reckon it will be 5 by tomorrow after jelly strawberries in the cinema and chocolate cake in Caley's cafe. DD vetoed the cultural cello show in favour of furry revenge or whatever the crap it was called.

I forget how annoying kids films are on a Saturday when the middle sized ones are old enough to come without a parent to tell them to sut up and put their phones away but still young enough to want ot watch a kids film.

And the tiny boy behind me spilled his popcorn and every time I moved my feet they were crunching on the bloody stuff.

Was there a barbeque? Surely it was postponed or taen in in this weather?

Guadalupe · 08/05/2010 17:42

arrrgh, my bloody letters keep disappearing

according to ds2 the baby rave was fab. I am going to go and see Coco Rosie [weirdy band] with dh on Wednesday in the speigeltent. It is not hhis thing but I am making him come with me.

Crunchy bar
banana

jelly strawberries, fudge, rainbow whizzers, cherry lips, gummy teeth and milshake bottles

1/2 dd's chocolate cake

Lentil soup on a bed of leaves [poncy]
Maybe some sourdough

Maybe a raspberry yoghurt

CoupleofKooks · 08/05/2010 17:43

it was tomorrow but yes it has been cancelled, we are going to a restaurant instead
i still have to stand in the cold with a banner for an hour though waiting for dp to finish racing
and moll if i wore enough clothes over the dress to make it warm enough i don't think it would be visible

just did wk 6 run 2
10 mins then 3 mins walking then 10 mins running

guad, your festival town sounds fab

we are having a chinese feast for dinner. but as DH didn the shopping, I imagine it will be 80 per cent shredded duck, 10 pc pancakes, 9 pc sticky sauces and some shredded spring onion

Guadalupe · 08/05/2010 17:56

Mmmmm, I LOVE crispy duck! Yes, we are lucky with the festival, it's getting better and better every year.

Franny - restaurant sounds a better idea. I quite fancy going out for sunday lunch tomorrow. I would like gravy without having to make it.

CoupleofKooks · 08/05/2010 18:36

I'm going for a short run now, then going to give blood. There's got to be a lb in that surely

My blood didn't work. They stabbed me wrong and it took too long so had to give up Most of it was already in the bag though.

I'm going to do some yoga now. See you tomorrow for weigh in ladies

pointydog · 09/05/2010 21:15

oucho!

ThePinkOne · 10/05/2010 07:34

Yeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've lost 2lb

Come on everyone!!! Weigh!!!

I've just done some yoga this morning. Just a quick 10 minute stretch. I love it I can do some really bizarre things like this. Then you rock on your belly!

I've got 2 weeks til my 10k. I've still only done 7.7 and I think my time will be quite slow. Never mind. I'll give it a go. Need to get more sponsors though. I think I've only got £20
