For people who like to eat a lot of fruit and veg but also need to lose weight. We suggest 10 portions of fruit and veg a day, plus at least 10 mins of extra exercise. Weigh in day is Monday. No Atkins stuff or anything like that please , just healthy eating and exercising.

Day a bit of a washout food-wise.

weetabix, fruit juice
banana

Then I was at an unusual training course thingy so had to take my own lunch and I just do not do Making Packed Lunches so slapped together a plain ham sandwich.

Then had one shortbread biscuit and I relented and went halfers on a packet with colleague.

Then my mum was over doing childcare and she brought home made millionaire's shortbread and could not resist half a slice.

And she had brought a home made steak pie.
I had the steak fillinf without pastry (sob), some little taters amnd loads of sprouts and carrots.

And lots of pineapple.

7 portions but too much stuff that I shouldn't have had.

elliemental · 06/05/2010 20:21

since my healhy start i have had a ttoasted sesame bagel with marmte and some nuts,

CoupleofKooks · 06/05/2010 20:56

pointy i'll join you in bad veggers' corner
i've had an ice cream and a generous portion of chocolate, and i came down from putting ds1 to bed, fully intending to have another fruit scone with lemon curd and clotted cream, but have remembered my graze box came, so am going to go and ingest the contents of that instead

have done robcast wk 6 run 1 which was quite taxing

had cereal fruit blah = 4
cheese sandwich pate sandwich
ice cream
pizza, veg sausage, carrots, green cabbage, red cabbage = 3
chocolate

i'm slipping on the fruit and veg - but there's 3 portions of f in my graze box so i scrape 10

I want foooooooooooooooood. I've just had some chilli nuts. I was good though and instead of pigging the whole bag I put some into a little pot. But now we've got the TV on and there are adverts for burritos and cheeeeeeeese and oh I want fooooood.

Oh dieting is baaaaaaad

Lol at stair runner (It's a very beautiful carpet though Guad - don't wear it out!)

Guadalupe · 06/05/2010 21:04

yes, it does look quite cool

melon
go ahead

cappucino
dried mango

blue cheese and chive quiche
salad [I asked for more salad, was more of a garnish ]

rice cakes
butternut dip

onion gravy
bite of pie

chickpea salad
ice cream
yoghurt
4 blueberry puffs

1 praline horn

What a weird food day. I feel like I haven't had dinner but I have had WAY more points with my picking than I should have done but I went out mid dinner to parents evening and now I am stuffed.

Recommend blueberry puffs though.

Guadalupe · 06/05/2010 21:07

meant to say I have stuffed not I am stuffed, oh if only I were

I am bloody starving

Pink - I feel your pain

You know, I couldn't do this without rooibos

pointydog · 06/05/2010 21:08

what is a blueberry puff?

Could be very diety or very fattening with a nmae like that

Guadalupe · 06/05/2010 21:13

I have never seen them before they were half price at the counter in marks

they are a biscuit, sort of a cross between a lemon puff [remember those?] and jam ring

they are a sticky oval puff like the biscuit of a lemon puff but with a blob of blueberry jam in. Very nice. Only half a point but don't be deceived, you CANNOT eat only one.

CoupleofKooks · 06/05/2010 21:48

oh dear am eating scone after all
god what a hungry day
i blame the running and the stress of the election

pointydog · 06/05/2010 21:51

I have just eaten a handful of cadbury's clusters which my mum also brought over. She has ruined me.

ThePinkOne · 06/05/2010 22:22

I had 3 crackers with butter and cheese.

Gosh it's like confession in here tonight

CoupleofKooks · 07/05/2010 07:10

"the people have spoken, but we don't know what they've said"
marvellous

fgs let's not all do stress eating all day
everyone get your acts together

yes, I am mustering resolve because at this rate I have lost NOTHING this week and given that I was 10st 5 7/8 this morning I might actually go UP a pound.

Though I am moaning about this 5 pound business and then I look at my list. I mean, duh.

I was up late and up early. Yes. Weird limbo. But, Charles clarke has lost his seat to simon lib dem which is big local news.

Can't believe all those people that couldn't vote. I went first thing but tbh if I left it until 9.30 it wouldn't have occured to me that I might not make it in.

CoupleofKooks · 07/05/2010 08:58

dp didn't go down till about 9.15 - but it was quiet here
our lib dem guy got in as usual - he's ok but not very supportive about home ed
more people voted bnp than voted green in our ward! that's pretty shameful

i now realise however little i wanted a tory government, there was at least the consolation that it wasn't going to be labour, and they wouldn't be able to push the home ed bill through
at this rate we'll all be inspected and registered by the end of the month

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 07/05/2010 09:13

at the bnp in your area

charles clarke looks gutted, big blow for labour. Yes, hard about ome ed. I would almost orefer anything than tory. Except bnp obv.

Right, are we linking arms for a weekend of resolve? No bluberry puffs. No praline horns. Fruit and veg. Yep.

Guadalupe · 07/05/2010 09:14

I keep missing the e off bluberry and read it as blubbery puffs which is perhaps apt

pointydog · 07/05/2010 15:45

ANother odd food day so far

weetabix and fruit juice
banana
banana
half piece of mum's millionaire's shortbread

still 11st though so that's good. Will try to get tasty saladt things for tea.

pointydog · 07/05/2010 19:47

I hve just eacten very very well.

spiced chicken breast
fruity couscous salad
greek salad
2 pittas
houmus

5+ portions

CoupleofKooks · 07/05/2010 20:39

i'm in the doghouse again - really tired and was a long day, in some ways difficult, and i ate a lot of stuff that wasn't very diety

can't be arsed to list
i have lost my focus
should really have an early night
i really really should

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 07/05/2010 20:56

I have had a good food day, just too much of it probably.

Banana
Mixed fruit salad

Vegetable quiche and five salads from the green cafe, bean salad, cous-cous, red cabbage, coleslaw and mixed leaves and something else I can't remember.

Shared slab of caramelised apple cake

rice cakes with butternut chilli dip

HUGE bowl of prawn and haddock chilli ramen with loads of veg in it. I used red miso again which is a bit dark but quite nice.

And I am absolutely starving again so am looking at an apple and an orange and a raspberry yoghurt and then maybe 2 rich tea with my bedtime tea. Wild times.

CoupleofKooks · 07/05/2010 21:22

dp is racing on sunday then we have a bbq, to which i wanted to wear my new sundress with the sequins on
it's going to be 8 deg apparently

I have seen a 4! Not before bloody time.

I am going to see a one man operatic thriller with dcs this afternoon while dh takes ds to baby ska. Festival started yesterday. Loads of good stuff on.

They have built a temporary electric hotel outside the library. It looks cool! Shame the weather is shit.

Jordans crunchy bar
banana

ThePinkOne · 08/05/2010 13:52

Apple, raisins, apple juice and banana for breakfast. Walk to the library with DC in buggy/on buggy board (I should be encouraging her to walk but it's doing wonders for my bingo wings!)

Cucumber while I was making lunch so that I didn't pig the tiger bread! Then bacon, egg and mushroom sandwich (notice addition of mushies for extra veg!)

Going well. 6 portions. I'm going clothes shopping (well looking anyway, but might wait til birthday to do any buying). Need to exercise but it might be yoga cause it isn't nice running weather.

Festival sounds great Guad! Enjoy your thriller! BBQ sounds cold nice Fran

ThePinkOne · 08/05/2010 13:55

Congrats on the 4 Guad!!
