For people who like to eat a lot of fruit and veg but also need to lose weight. We suggest 10 portions of fruit and veg a day, plus at least 10 mins of extra exercise. Weigh in day is Monday. No Atkins stuff or anything like that please , just healthy eating and exercising.

TBH I think i just have body image issues! (As well as a bit of a flabby belly.) I think I should look like an airbrushed Britney Spears and while I rationally know that's not gonna happen, anything less will never be good enough! But I'll stick at the yoga and running and hopefully tone up the belly a bit!

And yes, Fran, just one sticker

When are you all starting from for the purposes of total lost? I can check my chart and let you know my starting weight from then. I think I started a bit ahead of you at the beginning of March.

There's a yoga exercise for the tummy on one of my Babs Currie videos. You have to do it on an empty stomach - first thing in the morning. You bend your knees slightly and hang your head forward a bit and breathe out. Really breathe all your breath out hard. Then you hoik in all your tummy so it sucks right up under your ribs. Looks gross but I think it's quite good. Hang on and I'll see if I can find it on YouTube...

Guadalupe · 03/05/2010 21:11

Yum, have one for me, altough dh might have some left from his anniversary present I might eat it while I am on pig day

I am going to watch dr parsimmon? or something. Has Heath ledger and other tasty men in it.

Goodnight.

CoupleofKooks · 03/05/2010 21:16

god my stomach looks atrocious
really abominable
i was huge during both pregnancies and got stretchmarks, and i was always flabby round my middle tbh even when slim everywhere else
i look at it and try to think "well i grew two whole new people in there"
and i had a lot of nice dinners while i was at it

CoupleofKooks · 03/05/2010 21:18

oh and pink i think we started 7 weeks ago
because i've lost a lb every week except one IIRC

OP posts:
ThePinkOne · 03/05/2010 21:50

Ok, mine is also 7lb overall. I had a bad 3 weeks over Easter

I got a stretchmark with DS. About a cm long!! I didn't notice it til he was a week old I do have a little wrinkly patch though of horizontal ones.

I got a galaxy bubbles today. I actually gasped at how yummy it is. In fact I'm off to finish it

TigerFeet · 03/05/2010 22:25

Hello hello

I have been to my Mums for the weekend and therefore have eaten lots and drunk wine.

I will weigh in tomorrow morning in the hope that some of the lard will have dissolved somehow overnight

Stretchmarks - I have loads of the buggers - I got some at puberty and then more with dd1 and even though I was lighter at the end of my pregnancy with dd2 than I was at the beginning I still got yet more. Harrumph. My bikini wearing days are long gone.

pointydog · 03/05/2010 22:35

yes well done on the running, coK. I am almost more impressed with the fact you decided to open a box of chocolates just before the use by date. You jammy devil.

pointydog · 03/05/2010 22:35

I have no stretch marks. I am lucky on that front

stuffitlama · 04/05/2010 07:18

hello

hope you are all very well and having fun in 2010

I've just re-registered to say that I'm sorry but a few of you oldies may notice your fb friends list is reduced by one and I wouldn't want any of you to get paranoid and think who is it who is it who doesn't like me any more.

It's me only. I'm very uncomfy with the new mn/fb links and so I'm sort of data slimming but with no ill intent.

Wishing you all the very best.

CoupleofKooks · 04/05/2010 08:47

hello stuffit lovely to see you! i am so aluminium on head that i won't even go on facebook, so i do understand

we are having mango and blueberries for breakfast
boys are in heaven
ds2 did not go to bed until TEN PM last night
and then he pooed on my bed this morning
i may have to swap him

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 04/05/2010 09:47

Hello stuffit! I am not on fb either.

I am also having bluebrries but with melon and passion fruit in orange juice.

I couldn't resist checking this morning after ysterday and I have gone up a pound. Hopefully my metabolism is raring to go after I've 'shaken it up a bit' with calorie intake.

Guadalupe · 04/05/2010 09:52

There is a bit on afternoon tea in vogue, Franny and not only are there lovely pictures and fabulous cakes there is a link to clipper tea where they are doing limited edition alice in wonderland teas here just scroll down a bit. I need those on my shelf. Aren't they cute? I like white tea, haven't had it for ages.

CoupleofKooks · 04/05/2010 10:04

oh guad they are lovely
i don't drink any caffeine (get shaky and mad) but i may have to buy them for someone
is vogue online, i shall look
i still think we should plan a meet up to eat fabulous tiny cakes and tell each other how small our bums look

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 04/05/2010 10:29

it might be online but this bit is in the back section so not sure..

yes yes to afternoon tea but not yet, that would set me back by two weeks I think.
How much did we eat? Well I still remember you nicking all the basil ones.

CoupleofKooks · 04/05/2010 10:37

i ate all the basil ones and asked for more
god i think that was the nicest meal i ever had
at the end i wanted more of those little cakes because i had only had about 7
but i was too embarrassed to ask, we had been there for about 2 hours eating
i blame about 1 stone of my 3 stone pregnancy weight gain on that afternoon

ok when shall we go? it will spur us on to get thin so we can, err, eat loads

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 04/05/2010 10:45

OMG

I think my legs are on fire and lungs are exploding. I have run up and down the stairs 20 times without stopping [one is up AND down btw]. Why is something that sounds so easy so hard? I thought I would do fifty or something but yesterday I died after fifteen.

Yes, we should aim for something. Dunno when though, tis is all taking much longer than I had hoped, my 10 day easter feast has thrown me right out.

Maybe end of June, or early July? I ate so much that day I had to keep rotating myself in the car on the way home.

I do remember there were lots of incredibly thin girls eating in there and I wondered then how they did it unless they were elegant and reserved and ate a polite amount like the french unlike us who thought, all included in the price? Wahey. Lets tuck in.

Guadalupe · 04/05/2010 10:46

majority of my typos involve h j and k by the way as I am missing these keys thanks to ds2 and I don't always check

CoupleofKooks · 04/05/2010 11:22

guad it's better to do it slowly, i know you will say i am being staid, but if you lose weight really fast it's just going to go on again, there's no way round it

we have all keys intact but several have rubbed off so they are blank
i know which they are, but when ds1 has to type thank you letters or something it is a bit wearing

right must get out
science and chess woohoo

oh oh remember the Gnormans who went to Sweden? the dad and son are coming back for a visit this week, ds1 will be SOOOOOOOO excited
i haven't told him as he literally would not sleep

OP posts:
pointydog · 04/05/2010 17:22

I'm losing weight slowly all right. I think I have a special bodily aura that won't let me go below 11 st

Guadalupe · 04/05/2010 18:33

well it will even slower after today

loads of family crap with my 19 year old brother's ever deteriorating mental health and somehow I managed to inhale half a TRAY of chocolate brownies while on the phone to people.

Prob entire days worth of calories. I didn't even notice eating them so much for mindfulness.

have also eaten fruit salad and chickpea salad so not completely lost for fruit and veg.

Guadalupe · 04/05/2010 18:33

I might have a fresh apple for tea

pointydog · 04/05/2010 19:15

Hope you don't get too bogged dpwn in your brother's problems, guad.

Today:

weetabix and milk
o juice
banana
chicken stew, 3 little taters, peas and carrots
pickled baby beets
sucked and scraped two big mango stones
2 jacob's with morrocan houmus
lots of baby plum toms
bowl of proper cubed mango

Do you know, that is at least 9 and possibly 10 portions. Huzzah!

CoupleofKooks · 04/05/2010 19:37

guad i'm sorry about your brother
the endless phone calls that go with stuff like that are so draining, i hope you can rest tonight and not worry too much

pointy you'd better have a sticker don't tell pink
