Evening all
Boys are in the garden being a bit feral it would seem, I am on here with a g&t, how very decadent

Tried to buy fruit but got the worst Tesco till person ever, he was obv very stressed and couldn't work out how to weigh veg/fruit and was running late. Luckily watercress (not fruit I know but beats the water retention), grapes and strawberries came in a punnet with a barcode I just chucked the rest back at him (nicely, he was really worked up).

I like my hair, it was just when I had done the shred dvd that it went all sweaty and horrible. Had some nice comments from school run Moms (including my style guru) so feel good. No photos though, perhaps once I am less spotty. Why does exercise make you sweat so much and then give you spots???!!!

LOtser, what is chloasma? Good news on the house move.
My DS2 is starting school in September, my baby!

Mitts/Slug at your walking and talking meet up.

I want a bloody pub lasagne now, I do love a god pub lasagne.

Lizzylou · 22/04/2010 16:55

Oh and well done Sazz on getting a cheaper, longer trip! You resourceful gal, you.

SAF, he sounds lovely and very warm in his email, go for a drink with him!

Wasting, eek at pot of soil all over the place, but very good vocab your DS has.

I say trump (my upbringing) and pump (DH's family word). I do hate the word fart.

Gigantaur · 22/04/2010 16:55

i know its a really long shot but could anyone, or do you know anyone that could help me out of THIS hole please???

,,desperate smiley

Lizzylou · 22/04/2010 16:56

Sorry Gigi, it is a boys only zone here.

bellavita · 22/04/2010 16:58

Boys here too Gigi.

sorry gig, no girls here so no girl clothes.

Have mildly buggered up today - forgot to get the slip back to school, so DS couldn't go on the walk and photograph transport today . Fortunately he was perfectly happy being left behind as he got to do PE with the year above. I phoned up school at 12 as soon as I remembered, but evidently that was too late. AAAAARGH.

lotster · 22/04/2010 17:04

Hi Sazzles

Lissylou- it's the brown pigment patches that come up in the sun when PG... and every other sumer afterwards for me!!

traceybath · 22/04/2010 17:23

Defluff - I too have that book and it is very good.

Sazz - have a lovely lovely time in Paris.

Shiney - how much weight have you lost now?

I had a stressful morning as scraped car in car park along concrete barrier - thousands of pounds of damage I suspect so going to have to claim. Very annoying as car only a few months old.

Lizzylou · 22/04/2010 17:35

Oh, I see, Lotster, so you still get them now? I have one on my face. My eyes are very resistant to sunlight after having my boys now, have to wear shades or else am streaming.

Tracey, Oh No! I have done similar, it's a real pain in the ass.

Boys are now covered in ash, they opened up our ancient chimnea thingy and smeared ash all over themselves. They look like they've been up a chimney.

Is the election chat on normal TV as well, Trills? We only have Freeview.

Slugbrains · 22/04/2010 17:42

Afternoon.

All that fresh air is making me want to go to sleep.Ds is in a good mood despite coming back with a very nasty bite mark on his back. School has dealt with it. But it has already started to bruise.

lotster · 22/04/2010 18:00

Yes Lizzy, one patch on my forehead and at the top of each cheek. I get comments like "have you been skiing"? if I don't wear foundation, which is irritating!

My mum thinks I should go for laser treatment to improve things, but I have heard you can no longer have you face in the sun afterwards so am not sure... Not that I sunbathe my face anyway, but also don't fancy wearing a hat every single time I'm in the sun, so hope I've read that wrong. Am investigating.
My sister was told by the doctor it's a sign of sensitivity to oestragen.

Lizzylou · 22/04/2010 18:04

Yes, I think that's right about the sun thing. My brother had his port wine stain on his face lazered a few times and has to wear total sun block on it for evermore.
Mine just looks like a big freckle on my cheek.

Are Pickled Onion Monster Munch a veg or a fruit? I can't decide.
Only had two, but they were bloody lovely and reminded me of swimming on a sunday morning with my dad (then going to the vending machine!).

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 22/04/2010 18:07

lizzy - you should try to eat a balanced diet.

Have monster munch sandwiches.

TerryWogansCock · 22/04/2010 18:07

veg lizzy, they are made from potato starch, potato = veg, and therefore picked onion MM = 1 of your 5 a day

Lizzylou · 22/04/2010 18:10

Phew, may go and finish the pack then.

Am avoiding bread, Bitter, but good plan for another day!

It is so lovely and sunny and warm! In these parts a bit of sun goes a loooong way. Most months it's just a rain/fog fest every day. Or bloody snow!

bellavita · 22/04/2010 18:25

I am going to have to sucumb to a tiger roll for my lunch tomorrow! But it will be the first bit of bread in bloody ages. I am sooooo looking forward to it. I would have waited until I got home from work and had something bread free but I need to pop to M&S after work and it is too long to wait. DS1 seems to have shot up all of a sudden and his school trousers are ankle length. I really really didn't want to buy any till the new term in September but when you get to secondary, half mast trousers are a no no!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 22/04/2010 18:41

--->

She wore me out she did.....

I got a pigmentation mark after DD was born, but it is in a spot that doesn't get exposed to the sun very often so it is mostly quite pale.

Lol at 'are Monster Munch a fruit or Veg?'

Tracey, sorry about the car.. very easily done I should imagine.

at DS1 nicking your lunch Bella..

Lizzy I am also the same with the sun since having DC's. Even bright cloudy days have me squinting with the discomfort.

My feet are positively bleeping. I , for some reason, decided to walk back from dropping DC's at their Dads... so another hours walking. I may not shred tonight..

Slugbrains · 22/04/2010 18:42

random fact for the day spectulums come in more then one size.

you really do learn something new every day.

sorry had to share although a bit tmi.

Slugbrains · 22/04/2010 18:43

x -post mitts! terrible x-post.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 22/04/2010 18:45

Yes but you refused to safety pin an orange net/bag containing two satsumas to the front of your skirt, and run, to demonstrate to DS why balls swing though didn't you.....

DeFluff · 22/04/2010 18:45

Waves hello to Lotster, excellent news on your house. I have that brown thing too but only on my top lip so looks like i have a tache, nice Laser is what gave me it in first place so be careful.

Bella - is Royal the one that has peaks and troughs but is hard? A bit like an artex ceiling??

Sazz -well done with Easyjet. As for the MOT (mumbles, shuffles feet etc etc) I've said she can go down as my parents are dropping at his door and his father is driving back. He has sworn his car will not be used. We have made it clear that if dd comes back and says has been in his car all access will have to go through court. We have also said that we need an mot certificate before she goes down again. He has agreed. I feel like a twat but i was having a slight break down so feel better now sorted. Also dd would have been devastated if she couldn't go.

Gigi - small girls here i'm afraid, tkmaxx sometimes sell those and they are on online too, i will have quick look. or maybe argos? Or a buy it now on Ebay?

Tracey - Does it get easy to use wioth time? Tried it this pm and it sounded very fake probably because I couldn't stop laughing

Lizzy -

Bella - whats a tiger roll?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 22/04/2010 18:46

Lol...no worries slugsy

DeFluff · 22/04/2010 18:51

Slugs - a bite ?? From who???

I knew re the spectulum, my mate was mortified when the doctor had to get a 'bigger one' for her. We had many months of fun sniggering about chippolatas and St Paul's Catherdral
