Sorry for everyone's crappy day.

Me and DS went for a walk this afternoon. Normally he is very good and holds my hand all the time. But not today. I had to carry him part of the walk near a main road, he was sitting down in the shop, really horrible.
Then we got to the park and he was very happy, swinging, climbing etc. And just as I was gently stopping the little roundabout, he tipped forward and bashed his head on the little rough wooden seat edge opposite, just above his eyebrows, right in the middle. Cue me sitting on the ground cuddling him.

He chilled out with some chocolate buttons, but the little monkey is going to look like a Klingon when it scabs up.

I decided not to let the harrowing afternoon derail my plans, so he had boob before stories tonight and went to bed after with barely a murmur.

Ups and downs, swings and bloody roundabouts.

Right, I'm Yank, I've been stuck in Amsterdam for a week following a week's holiday in the USA, eaten too many dutch sausages and am probably a lot fatter than when I left.

Now what's going on with you lot? All I've gathered for the last few weeks is that shiney is loved up (which is so wonderful and makes me feel all fuzzy).

DeFluff - I'd seriously recommend you look into taking legal action. A decent lawyer will want to skin him alive for both his twattishness and being such a disreputable example of a lawyer.

My lawyer was livid when she found out my ex was getting legal aid (her visa states no recourse to public funds), yet was working cash in hand and had the front not to pay any maintenance. Cue letter to Law Society, shortly followed by letter from her side quoting problems with funding (though that may also be because she's such a nightmare that they no longer want to represent her).

At least check if you can get legal aid, if yes, I'd recommend go for it. The lack of maintenance, general lies and twatty behaviour can't really get much worse. The taking control of the situation and watching him get screwed over would be well worth it.

If he tried to use your PND or OCD against you, he'd be laughed out of court - if it was such a problem, why did he leave you with DC?

Anyway I lost a 1.5 pounds today which I am pleased with since I am slightly constipated and eating like a mule as I am coming up to AF time. That makes 21.5 pounds and my 3rd silver seven.

DIB, the very first thing I did was some business in my very own toilet. You've no idea what a joy that was after so much time and so many different toilets. My toilet and I are mates, we spent a lot of time together when I was pregnant, you see.

The tea will come later. I think we'd almost forgot it existed; we've had some very bad cups of tea in the last few weeks and stopped bothering to make/order any.

Five - ex has just booked me a holiday down your way. and I am probably driving ds down for his holiday there with ex. If you like i'll drag you skating in my old stomping ground in the summer. it'll be fun to go back and see if the old lot are still there. I suspect not. But still.
