We are a bunch of friends who are happy to welcome newbies prepared to join in with our resolve to strive to be healthier, quite possibly slimmer, but certainly filthier than the rest of mumsnet. If you can embrace our mascot with reverence, then you're in!

Away we go...

You are lovely BoF...

A 7 yr old with her hands on her hips going 'whatevahh' is just not right is it?

BitOfFun · 21/04/2010 19:24

Oh gawd, the poor woman.

That was a bad idea Shiney

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 19:25

so setting up and checking on line dating site info type things -check

raiding friends list and setting up -out

good to clear that one up.

What is the current term for murder?

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 19:28

mitts swap you for an arsey 5 yo with a death wish.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 21/04/2010 19:30

We should get the two together again. She was in bossing heaven and he was staring quizzically and taking no notice...perfect

MitsubishiWarrioress · 21/04/2010 19:30

(reminds me of my Gran and Grandad lol)

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 19:33

true though i have never seen ds that still or quiet. He has been asking if he can see her again.

RIght i am off to stripe the wardrobe of doors, rescue the mirror that is about to get broken and suitably drug the child so sanity can return, accompanied by snoring.

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 19:34

thank god for sleep meds!

Lizzylou · 21/04/2010 19:37

Shiney. Like my mate with the wild bikini line then. I had an interesting night out recently where she grilled me mercilessly about why DH's mate didn't want to see her again. I was dying to shout
"FGS trim your bush and what did you do to him when he was asleep!??" But I didn't.

Bella, I have, in my FB pic I have a fringe (that was almost 2 years ago, am a camera phobe) I thought a side swept one may suit me better??? I dunno.

Shiney, with you stroking your labrador BOF like that, put me in mind of a Vla Doonigan Christmas special.

RIGHT LONG POST WARNING!! (AGAIN)

Trills - New York, very jealous, would love to go, have only been to Boston in US, and that was fab.

Mitts - your paintings are fab, very pleased for you re gallery - do you make enough for a living through your work? (sorry - nosey question there). Hope your day has got better.

Five - just push!! and do this face

Bitter - aaht of my pube - classic

SAF - So, so true re exercising control over the ex - if you ask exh a question about anything he says 'i'll let you know in due course' so if we say 'are you having dd weekend of x' he says 'i'll let you know in due course' which is usually about 2 days before. You're also spot on re my parents - they like to play devils advocate. I need to tell them that that is not what I need right now.

Bof - Love J's idea re DIY SOS, they've done some fab stuff.

Gigi - thank you, that's very kind of you. I lost it earlier a bit. There are no courts involved over access at all. I only know of CAFCASS from on here. DD has always lived with me, exh moved out when she was 1.5 roughly. We've always lived in this house, she's gone to her school since she was 6 months, she sees her grandparents at least once a week, her sister obviously lives with us, she loves dp, he has been in her life for 3.5 years, all her friends are here. She sees her dad once every 5 weeks. I know in reality there is no chance of anyone changing residence its just that when he threatens it I feel physically sick and start worrying about all sorts. Totally silly. I'm just so frightened that if he did go to court what if we got a crazed cafcass person (think i've been reading too many threads on here) who thought pnd was bd or something...

Alice - will respond on your thread, but trust me you are not alone

JuJu - I have been thinking about going through court myself, so that we never need really communicate again. Am still thinking about it, but see weird fears above . We did arrange through solicitors him having access once every fortnight. However, as soon as it was arranged he changed it to once every 4 weeks as he said he couldn't afford petrol. It's actually once every 5 weeks normally. In case you missed this bit, we've been asking him to see her more often as she has been missing him. He said he couldn't afford it because he didn't have a job. We haven't gone through CSA because we believed him. He's actually been working for the last 9 months, WHILE TELLING DD HE COULDN'T AFFORD TO SEE HER MORE OFTEN. Bastard.

And Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!

Total - he's a cock, first time caught non insured driving it went to court because he pled something like especial hardship or something if they took car way? The points would have meant he lost his licence. Because I didn't drive and we had dd he kept his licence, the case and fines etc cost me us about £3k though. I also have a court order against him for half of dd's school fees which he's defaulted on by 9 months. I spoke to law society they said they'd be very interested and to send them a letter, but if he gets certificate withdrawn dd will never get any maintenance.

Sorry to anyone missed and sorry again for monopolising all day. Now let's talk cock

And where the hell is Shiney?

BitOfFun · 21/04/2010 19:42

grrr why are my eye balls aching?

Lizzylou · 21/04/2010 19:49

NO closer to knowing, no Shiney.
I tried to find out from DH's mate but he was keeping schtum.
My money is on finger up the ass, but can't see him being that shocked at that tbh.

at BOF's photo of her and Shiney.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 21/04/2010 19:49

Can I fondle your ears BoF? I have a thing about ears....

bellavita · 21/04/2010 19:52

One of the teachers at school has one of those doggies, he is a special one - she is in a wheel chair. He trots up to my desk and rests his chin on it and dribbles!!! - he wears a necker chief so the teacher can wipe them away!

Lizzy, that photo is a bit dark and I cannot see you properly.

DeFluff · 21/04/2010 19:56

Vinny - I thought you texted him yesterday and he texted back??

DeFluff · 21/04/2010 20:11

Bof - you've got the cutest softest ears.

What was the thing that your gf did at night?? I need to know!

Vinny - what is it you think is the reason hes not texting?

Shiney - you, an afterthought? As if!!!

I'll type the sisters sorry but actually not funny, more worrying....

DeFluff · 21/04/2010 20:19

Finger up the ass story for lizzy - are our friends the same person??

DP's mate met a girl on holiday in Greece. They went down to beach, at night, the sound of the gently lapping labrador sea water, the moonlight, the warmth all meant that one thing led to another.

Whilst in mid throws of in- and out- ness, the silence was broken by dp's mate's shriek as the girl shoved her finger right up his arse!! Always goes down well on a first date i've found

Apparently he had to have operation on his butt but dp reckons this was coincedental, although he does say he never quite got to the bottom of it. Boom boom.
