Welcome to our, ooh, 64th Healthy Eating thread. We are a bunch of friends who are happy to welcome newbies prepared to join in with our resolve to strive to be healthier, quite possibly slimmer, but certainly filthier than the rest of mumsnet. If you can embrace our mascot with reverence, then you're in!

Away we go...

That grin is through gritted teeth, beeatch. You are bit too close to the truth!

Gigi, I am going to call you that if I may as I take exception to your full name , hope you're OK. I rarely venture off the thread either these days and everytime I do I remember why I don't.
IYSWIM.

The orange hair dye has gone right to my head

Lizzylou · 21/04/2010 17:14

Obv I can't help with your thread Alice, but it's good to see that you're not alone/unusual in feeling that way.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 21/04/2010 17:43

Off for my weigh in in a minute.

Proud Mother alert, DD managed to stay dry all day until 5.30, not bad for her.

TotalChaos · 21/04/2010 17:43

Happy birthday JuJusdad!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 21/04/2010 17:47

Glad things are OK Bitter.

DF - can we have the sisters story when you come back.

TotalChaos · 21/04/2010 17:47

in a funny mood now, thinking back to my school days - just got an e-mail about a reunion later this year. I try and blank out the 11-18 years as much as possible - they were a very lonely time, after the first few years I wsasn't so much verbally bullied as less overtly socially excluded. I still have semi-nightmares now, about the loneliness. Pfft. This too shall pass....

Is it from the recipe that BoF and Mamazon did the other day?

Haha, like Shiney could make a cake. I hear you're very good at shopping in M&S though.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 21/04/2010 17:54

School reunions not for me either TC. [frown] Best kept away... but sorry it is making you feel bad.

Lizzylou · 21/04/2010 17:55

Oh Total, you have achieved so much since then, that must fill you with confidence? Teenagers are vile, I think, I still hate my nose and body due to twats at school. Even though then I was a size 10.
YOu are fabulous, don't think about the past, think about who you are now.

Shiney, M&S Choc cake? Delicious, so I am told

bellavita · 21/04/2010 18:07

Slugs, tell me it is ok for me to have some fish and chips tomorrow for tea . I have to start faffing with the stupid cakes for my friends mum and dad and I need peace and quiet, I won't have time to cook. I thought I would ask DH to call at the chippy.

bellavita · 21/04/2010 18:09

Vinny, well he ain't worth it then. Please don't dwell on it.

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 18:11

Its a one off treat, and will stop you platueing with the diet. DO it. In the name of promoting contiued weight loss!

Vinny sucks, true but obviously you are too good for him!

Topic of conversation tonight was my sex life or lack of it Not sure that sex life advice from the ex is entirely settling.
