Welcome to our, ooh, 64th Healthy Eating thread. We are a bunch of friends who are happy to welcome newbies prepared to join in with our resolve to strive to be healthier, quite possibly slimmer, but certainly filthier than the rest of mumsnet. If you can embrace our mascot with reverence, then you're in!

Away we go...

Sainsbos are alright. Their mini lemon drizzle cakes are to die for....

TotalChaos · 21/04/2010 18:12

Thanks for the kind words re:school, Lizzy and Mitts.

oh im over it, just my ego a bit dented

Lizzylou · 21/04/2010 18:15

Sainsburys?

Vinny, he may be still in work, or he may be one to chalk up to experience. If the latter he has no taste and is not worthy of you.

Am going to the hairdressers tomorrow, currently I have a chin length bob, all one length. Should I get a side fringe and go a bit shorter to just below my ears? Am bored.
Am also worried that forehead is looking wrinkly.

bellavita · 21/04/2010 18:16

Yeah, Shiney can be chief vetter

VinegarTits · 21/04/2010 18:17

Shiney why dont i just let you search for a suitable man for me and forward me the profiles

you could be my dating consultant

TotalChaos · 21/04/2010 18:17

fringe will be a faff to maintain, will defo require regular hairdressing, but if you go a lot anyway then that won't be a factor.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 21/04/2010 18:17

My counsellor said that sex is actually a 'need' not a want and that we are out of kilter if we are not getting any.

VinegarTits · 21/04/2010 18:18

Lizzy he was off today, and has gone from 10 texts a day to 0, so i think that tells me he aint interested, actually i think i have my suspicions why, if i am correct hes an arsehole anyway

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 18:19

Reassuring that

His advice was to basically play the hockey boys at their own game and to use them.

Not exactly my style tbh.

TotalChaos · 21/04/2010 18:23

slug - how erm very thoughtful of ex to be so concerned

vinny - ooh now that would bother me, him not texting when not at work, would make me think other woman....

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 18:24

Are we confirmed with numbers for June. Can we get organised now?

Also re skating was thinking sat 8th May if interested/a possibility. let me know. Am completely boy free that weekend and if you want mitts can sort a lift for you. response here or fb as relevant. Invite open to those who can make and are interested.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 21/04/2010 18:24

Do you have anywhere to keep your Hockey Stick Slug? Because I can think of somewhere you could stick it......

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 18:25

Yep, he is very liberal with his advice and this is one that amuses him. He feels the need to ensure that I am moving on nicely. Not that it is any of his business of course. Oh the irony.

To be absolutely honest, I think it is a lovely idea slugsy, but can in no way justify the expense of a skating trip and the 12th.
DC's have trips coming up to pay for so the 12th is my treat.
But at some time in the future it will be a date.

Lizzylou · 21/04/2010 18:27

Vinny, do you think he's married/involved?
Anyway, his loss.

Now, about my hair...

Total, I go in phases, sometimes I make the time and sometimes I go into waynetta slob mode, it is usually down to my size and how I feel about myself.

Slug? Wowzers, how did the conversation get around to your sexual needs???

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 18:27

tbf he is trying to be helpful. And has rearranged his plans on reminder of June and has arranged a holiday for me and ds so will allow him some leyway. but these conversations totally throw me cos like i would be discussing my sex life with my ex. none of his business really. not that there is anything to discuss. He has also impressed me with his attitude to ds so only in shock not cross.

VinegarTits · 21/04/2010 18:28

SAF you are getting confused, it was me who went to buy sweets for my boss

I went to pick the finnster up from my parents after work and he wouldnt come home so i am childless for a while yay

Lizzylou · 21/04/2010 18:28

Slug, I am out that night and work on a Saturday anyway.
Sorry!

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 18:30

No problem. Was thinking evening but will try to sort something. I will be old that weekend and determined to kill myself skating or something.
