We are a bunch of friends who are happy to welcome newbies prepared to join in with our resolve to strive to be healthier, quite possibly slimmer, but certainly filthier than the rest of mumsnet. If you can embrace our mascot with reverence, then you're in!

Away we go...

DeFluff, we all support each other on here through all manner of things, so no apologies needed.. xx

Bitter...having a shit day actually so sympathy is appreciated. Just too messy to go into. But sort of a cross between SaF's and DeFluffs situation.

Long story short - Yesterday he was a massive twat, and I was a slightly less massive twat.

He has texted me to say he is on his way home, an acted like yesterday never happened.

So do I pretend that this is the case, or have it out with him?

(which would probably lead to him sulking all evening.)

Ah, but Mitts has left her number Shiney...

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/04/2010 15:47

(realised that last post made me sound like Frank Butcher)

Maybe I should tell him to 'Get aaaht of my pube'

VinegarTits · 21/04/2010 15:47

pretend it never happened bitter, life is to short to 'have it out' with him

kiss shag and makeup

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 15:47

Bitter, i would probably go for middle ground. acknowledge why he feel how he does (ie stroke his ego), acknowledge which bit (ie not knowing when he was going) was the problems and then gor for who ever suggested yesterday the physical stroking aspect

You ok shiney?

Mitts - it does get better, it just takes time. And it is hard to watch uber twatness when it involves the dcs. More so then when directed at you. DOnt get involved just deal with the consequences. You that daddy loves you but sometimes it is hard when you ... etc . It is a pita but makes you the stronger one.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/04/2010 15:48

PUB 'Get aaaht of my PUB'

Oh fuckety fuck

bellavita · 21/04/2010 15:48

I wouldn't have you any other way Shiney

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 15:49

Oh ffs. you *know that

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 15:49

Best chuck some in this direction Bella, think i need the sugar to wake my brain up.

Iggi999 · 21/04/2010 15:50

I couldn't deal with a man who thought it was ok to stay out all night (on however worthy a cause) without having discussed it with you first. I'd be worried that (if there is no negative outcome for him) he could make habit of it.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/04/2010 15:50

But yes, will probably go for the middle ground. I can't be arsed to argue.

My language is appaling today.

If I carry on like this I will have to resign as the wholesome one.

Iggi999 · 21/04/2010 15:51

Bitter, I had thought letting him into your pubes wasn't the best way to show him you are cross!
