Slugs.... how is your shoulder?

DeFluff...my gut would be to put your foot down and say No. It makes your position clear. State that 'DD can come and see you when everything is clearly sorted, as we both have her best interests at heart'

You will be miserable if you let her go and are not certain. Folk advised me to trust my instincts recently and I think you have to do that here. Her safety in none negotiable.

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 14:01

Shoulders are sore mitts. But it was nicer to be caught then slamming straight into the wall

I am in a weird mood. Need to get one. Sort of want to sort of cba. It feels good to sort some stuff out and very glad that the appoint to see ds' doc is on friday so little time to panic too much. Going to be sick of the doctors by the weekend as will be there two days in a role. me tomo and the boy stuff friday. At least it will be then over until next time.

Is is me or is it cold? I am freezing.

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 14:02

*get on

bellavita · 21/04/2010 14:06

Hello

BoF - poor you and poor DD

Iggs - fingers crossed eh for next time x

Slugs, hope you are feeling better

Mitts - have txted

Trills - New York would be just fab

Defluff - I would be inclined not to send her.

Have had yogga brekka, loads of fruit and have just eaten scrambled egg. Lasagne for tea.

Need to do some baking and get on with other stuff.

See you all later.

I have a very sore inner thigh. My K boxing partner last night had both co-ordination problems and short legs (her admission) resulting in some very aimed kicks and me dancing like Bambi to avoid injury. It is a massive challenge when we are so mismatched in height. I think if I had tried I could have kicked over the top of her head and made no contact.

We had a giggle and hug about it as she was embarrassed to keep kicking me. My arms and legs are all over the place. They need to be telescopic.

Yes, it is beautiful but blardy cold.

bellavita · 21/04/2010 14:10

Oh and SAF - I am sorry for your circumstances too

DeFluff · 21/04/2010 14:22

Thank you eveyone. Sorry, had break to cry then. He has texted me saying that no valid mot on the car is not grounds for no access and he has checked with his solicitor apparently.

Hilariously this visit was a favour to him, (for dd's sake) as my parents happened to be going that way (he lives 200 miles away) and said they'd do the one journey to save him money. He was never originally meant to be having her anyway.

Now he's said:

"I will tell her you won't let me see her this weekend when she is looking forward to it shall I?"

I hate him so much. I've told him no mot no visit.

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 14:23

SAF you are not a twat, you are human. It is being human that means we get attached. To appreciate the good you much appreciate the bad of emotions. Trust me not getting attached and not being able to is a nightmare. And it doesnt stick with relationships. Not being able to get attached emotionally effects friendships. you would be very lonely. Take a deep brief grieve the past and the hit the list. Tis ok to be sad.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 21/04/2010 14:26

Well, you could equally say that she can't see Daddy because he can't be bothered to make sure his car is safe for her to go in so he ought to stick that one where the sun don't shine. What a tosser.

Gigantaur · 21/04/2010 14:29

hello all. just thought i'd pop on to mark my place. though not sure why. you guys chat so much the trhead fills up before i even get back online!

stillo not really back in diet mode. but i haven't had any massive blow out eating sessions and i dont seem to have put on any weight so not all bad.

Just wanted to say that i know some of you on here are having a really rough time at the mo and yet you have been lovely to me over this last couple of weeks so thanks.
your all fabulous

DeFluff · 21/04/2010 14:33

Oh SAF - I really feel for you, please don't blame yourself and please don't spend too much time wondering about your contribution (if any) to this. I think you're allowed 48 hours of ice crem, crying and sad songs then thst's it (wishes could take own advice). Its just that you're nice and not everybody else always acts how they should. But that's not down to you, its their choice.

Quickly remembers this is healthy eating and chucks in:

Breakfast - shredded wheat two bowls. 6x cups of tea. Thats it so far. No food in the house, need to do a shop. Might have some more shredded wheat.

My parents are coming at 3.30, I know I will cry and they will say I should have let dd go and I will feel shit and exh will take me to court and cafcass will come and take dd away and. I'm losing it. Can they take dd away because Ive got pnd??

DeFluff · 21/04/2010 14:35

Sorry - ignore my last paragraph I was losing it a bit

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 14:35

Defluff - Speak to your solitictor if you need to. Stand your grounds. Make sure that you keep the texts. its evidence. Mitts' statement is a fair point. Plus HE is in the wrong. and being a cold hearted bitch. i would probably report the car annomolously to crime stoppers. they'd do something about lack of mot and papers. But then i am truely evil. If he gets it done then it will be fine and if he doesnt opps, police will deal with in the correct mannor. Its against the law. simple as that. He should really know better.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 21/04/2010 14:36

Because we like to know you are around and 'OK' and if you didn't check in we would have to stalk you and then all swoop in for a group snog!

You OKish GiGi? Life stinks sometimes dunnit?

Although it is hard to be unaffected by the glorious weather.

4 of my paintings are going in a local shop...... for a month but at least it is some decent showing time.

It is a Bead shop in the village and the beads are exquisite.

VinegarTits · 21/04/2010 14:37

DeFluff he sounds like a tosser, dont let his emotional blackmail get to you

hello gigantaur, how are you feeling now?

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 14:38

NO!!!! they cant. And it takes a lot before the kids are removed. A lot of hoops to jump through before that happens. And they are crap at paperwork. Just discovered our caf was closed back in OCTOBER and no-one has been arsed to write the final report.

STOP letting him get to you. STAND YOUR GROUND!!!!!!!! Just bloody report him as possibly driving without MOT. It will cover your back.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 21/04/2010 14:40

Sounds good Mitts.

Why can I never do a poo on weigh in day? Sorry for TMI.

Slugbrains · 21/04/2010 14:40

Tis good to see you gigantaur.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/04/2010 14:43

Saf and Mitts - sorry you are having a shit day .

DEM - hope the shoulder is OK.

I bloody ache all over. I felt OK first thing but it has progressed throughout the Day.

I have yet to Shred today (In awe of Lizzy on level 2 ) As DS made me promise that I would wait until he got home from school so he could do it with me .

DH (you remember, him of massive twattery?) has just texted me to say he is leaving for home in an hour.

He is acting as if yesterday didn't happen. Do I do the same? Or should I have it out with him?

I cann see a twattish men theme emerging on the thread today...

Gigantaur · 21/04/2010 14:44

Im ok. feeling better health wise. need some more check ups which im not looking forward to but they arent for a week or so.

I have been very selective on my MN contributions so thats not aggrevating me as much which helps.

Defluff - I can talk you through the procedures required to remove your children if you like. It will explain to you why it simply isn't going to happen and he is just being a tosser. please don't let his emotional blackmail get to you in this way.

Im an expert in this sort of emotional fucktardery so if you want to talk offboard your more than welcome. you know where i am.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/04/2010 14:45

Er, Mitts - Defluff obviously

DeFluff · 21/04/2010 14:46

Thank you. I'm sorry for being such a loon, but because he's a solicitor I get all scared about what he can do, he's always threatening me with stuff.

Dd's my world and he knows that and he knows my ocd so threatens all the time re taking me to court. Everytime he threatens it I feel physically sick for days. I should have let DP sort it out like normal.

I wanted to shop him when found out he was driving with no insurance (again) but parents said not to because he's know straight away it was me and it would 'cause trouble'

Apologies - I know this isn't the 'contact questions of Defluff' thread Going to get a cup of tea and pull myself together.

[Waves manically at Gigi]

Gigantaur · 21/04/2010 14:49

if he is found driving the car with no insurance he will get an instant 6 points, a £200 fine and the car will be removed and impounded. I know from bitter experience of admin issues with Chruchill

He is a solicitor and so he knows its rubbish, but he also knows that you will be worried as you will just assume he knows best.

he is a nob cheese of teh highest order he really is.

your fabulous and your DD is going nowhere. go give her a kiss and calm down.

VinegarTits · 21/04/2010 14:59

You have done the right thing by not letting her go DeFluff, safety first, you would never forgive yourself if you let her go off in a car that wasnt roadworthy and something happened to her, dont let him manipulate you into thinking otherwise, let your dp deal with him from now on
