Shiney Cult - how do you eat yours?

1002 replies

TrillianAstra · 10/04/2010 16:03

Sparingly we hope - with plenty of fresh fruit and veg

Spring is in the air and we are still here, on our 62nd (?) thread for healthy eating, chat, and of course the cult mascot (what better to put you off your food?).

The aim of the game is to post a lot, eat slightly better than before, and enjoy life.

OMG Lizzy, I LOVE that dress!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 13/04/2010 21:06

MyCat may cross you on the way or maybe not we are going to North Devon on the 11th.

MyCatIsABastard · 13/04/2010 21:07

Where you going Fanny? We're off to Bigbury on Sea.

bellavita · 13/04/2010 21:07

That is lovely Lizzy. I rifled through Phase Eight today. I have a pair of trousers and a little wrap cardy thing from there. Nice, well made clothes.

traceybath · 13/04/2010 21:08

Stop me watching the great ormond street programme - its just sooo sad but amazing.

You've got to love a red dress haven't you

Five - sorry didn't even look at sizes just remembered that dress from browsing their website the other day.

Lizzylou · 13/04/2010 21:08

I soooo knew you would Mycat!
I loved your Birthday dress, I am going to jump DH's bones and demand he purchase it for me.

Or just make his favourite dinner

Thanks DIBs + Sazz, it is silly, my friend was always so envious of me because I have always been happy in my own world, these days I think I am too used to looking after others and having chaos around me.

Lizzylou · 13/04/2010 21:09

Where is Norma???

MyCatIsABastard · 13/04/2010 21:12

Lizzy, I am famous amongst my friends for wearing red, in particular red dresses for really nice do's. I've just agreed with told DH that when I have lost my 2 stone I am buying that dress.

bellavita · 13/04/2010 21:12

and jet?

DidEinsteinsMum · 13/04/2010 21:14

Wasting, yep its the next major town off the a1 to the exit i take. from here to yours is about hours. so depending on how madly busy you are a day trip is possible. Although might need after school babysitting to make it worth while tis definetly doable.

Ok whilst we are on the topic of clothes. I have got a shirt dress type thing that is a little to see through to wear with just knickers, what do i put underneath as it will show through.

DidEinsteinsMum · 13/04/2010 21:25

Norma streaked through the other day, Jet was about at the weekend.

I think that you must have all fainted at me mentioning see through dresses. WHen you get over the shock of me asking fashion advice I will probably have given up and gone to bed.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/04/2010 21:34

Actually...there is every chance that I will talk enough for everybody and you will want to selotape my mouth shut. Sometimes I just run off at the mouth. It is either a sign that I am totally at ease or deeply self conscious and covering up for nerves. I am not shy as such, just weird......

Vinny.. I have just got back from K boxing... d'ya want me to duff somebody up?

Yes.... I wish I had got a sneaky photo of that man DEM....

We'll just have to do the Shiney tour of great Britain and Australia so we all get to meet each other bit by bit.

And where is my Roomy by the way....

Lizzylou · 13/04/2010 21:37

DEM, how about a long Vest T-shirt?
One that is made for going over leggings, will have a look for a link.

Aww, having been traumatised by watching the great ormond st programme, am all happy again.
A lad (lad? he is 37!) I went to school with, who was one of my best mates in 6th form has got married and saw his pics on FB, his bride is gorgeous, they look amazingly happy.

I was crying so much when that young lad Ellis died, he looked a little like DS2, same big cupids bow mouth.

DidEinsteinsMum · 13/04/2010 21:38

He was a bit of a shock when you werent expecting it. Do you reckon he will still be there in June I fancy having a bit of a mooch in town before everyone else turns up, if you are interested.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/04/2010 21:50

Ooohhhhh.. I'll take you shopping DEM

Are you guys wearing maxi dresses and sophisticated stuff then?
Hmmmm.. my choice is a little on the short side.... Your dress links are all lovely....
I have a long apricot silk dress which is grown up or a gorgeous black and white one... Hmm... I hadn't thought about trying to be a laydeee.. I will take photos tomorrow when the light is better.....

MyCatIsABastard · 13/04/2010 21:51

DEM I would wear a vest top or camisole underneath it. In my younger slimmer days (many many moons ago) I would have worn a very pretty bra underneath and nothing else. These days boobs are too big and belly is too flabby

I just got irrationally (sp) annoyed at DH. He looked at me all puppy eyed and said 'I htink I might have to go to bed babe, I'm so tired'. I don't know why but the way he looked at me and said it made me want to flipping well shake him and tell him to be a man not a fecking little boy about it! I just said 'well go then' when I wanted to shout 'don't look so fecking pathetic about it'.

DidEinsteinsMum · 13/04/2010 21:55

Its not the top bit that concerns me it the fact i dont want to be flashing my pant to the whole word.

Mycat was that a sutble come fuck me attempt?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/04/2010 21:56

Oh absolutely...

I found a picture on the web.. but don't want to shock the girls d'ya think I should?

it's ART... honest!

DidEinsteinsMum · 13/04/2010 21:59

doesn't have quite the same effect though.
Was the elephant there too. That was pretty amazing.

let me see if i can find a picture of the dress. give me 5 mins.

DreamsInBinary · 13/04/2010 22:00
