Shiney Cult - how do you eat yours?

1002 replies

TrillianAstra · 10/04/2010 16:03

Sparingly we hope - with plenty of fresh fruit and veg

Spring is in the air and we are still here, on our 62nd (?) thread for healthy eating, chat, and of course the cult mascot (what better to put you off your food?).

The aim of the game is to post a lot, eat slightly better than before, and enjoy life.

Hi shiney .

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/04/2010 15:25

Lizzy has he been waxed and polished?

bellavita · 13/04/2010 15:27

Hey Lizzy, I will become a fan

Mitts - the link doesn't go anywhere as in no picture comes up for me at all.

Shiney, I did bank your other cheque (maybe about 10 days ago now). I will fb details.

Lizzylou · 13/04/2010 15:27

I will have him washed, stripped and brought to your tent, Mitts

He plays for Manchester City, my mate has met him in a bar in Manchester (she didn't know who he was) and he bought her and her friends drinks all night and was apprently really lovely, not letchy or arrogant just having a laugh.

We could try and stalk him in June!

bellavita · 13/04/2010 15:33

Oooh definitely up for a bit of stalking Lizzy!

Lizzylou · 13/04/2010 15:35

Thanks Bella, I think I've invited you

Isn't he lovely? Will find out which bar she saw him in, cannot believe I didn't go on that night out!

TrillianAstra · 13/04/2010 15:37

Eating grapes. Not mentioning what I had for lunch.

I wouldbe like your friend Lizzy - would never recognise anyone in real life. Well, I might be able to psot if Stephen Fry was at the pub quiz, but not much more than that

Sazz - sorry just backed up and saw what you'd written earlier - I'd love to meet for shopping Probably best on a weekend day as can then leave dc's with DH.

MyCatIsABastard · 13/04/2010 15:56

Afternoon ladies.

Mitts - cheeky beggar Chris Evans said he didn't believe you. I should have text and said it was totally true!

SAF - that sounds like a wonderful life to live. Me and DH have decided to give his company 18mths to try and wk and if it doesn't we will sell up and travel with the kids (I'm now adding Sinai to my list).

bella, I like all of those clothes. Your mum sounds like my nan - my poor mum is not allowed a life of her own. It's good for me because my mum really does not expect anything of me because of the complete hell she gets from her mum.

I've had 10pts today so far (cereal, chicken sandwhich - only at the chicken and one slice of bread, crisps) and am just about to have 30 min walk to fetch kids so that'll knock 1 1/2 off.

MyCatIsABastard · 13/04/2010 16:00

Sazz - you domestic goddess you! . Pub it is then.

Just so you all know, I have removed stink from armpit. I think I only put deoderant under one arm . I smelt like one of those people that you are really sorry you sat next to on the bus/train/cinema iykwim!

I am not painting a good picture of myself here. I bet your glad I can't come in June so you don't have to be polite to the smelly one .

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 13/04/2010 16:02

A new mascot

and what are we going to do with poor old TWC

(although that is one fit bod )

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/04/2010 16:03

Well, I am not surprised MyCat, I mean who really astro turfs their bathroom?

I'd like to bedeck a wall in fur someday, I am a sucker for a furry throw. The new GQ has some beauty or other draped over furry throws and I have serious fluff . I am reduced to pulp with anything soft. I was given a seriously gorgeous (fake) fur coat and it is heaven to wear.

Heya Sazz... You sound busy and inspirational. Have you tamed those hunger pangs?

MyCatIsABastard · 13/04/2010 16:05

Mits - when I first heard you'd done it I was really tempted with the idea but DH was having none of it. I fancy putting velvet up on a wall, either in the bedroom (boudoir) or front room. Just for the fun of it really. Fur on a wall sounds great. Witha big mirror in the middle of it.

MyCatIsABastard · 13/04/2010 16:07

Right, off to get the kids from nursery.

Catch you all later. x

I like 'SazzTowers'

OP posts:
DidEinsteinsMum · 13/04/2010 16:21

its good to hear you chirpy this afternoon mitts.

Sazz - good to have you back.

I am tired. I have eaten rubbish and all i have wanted to do is sleep. Ds is fetching his own tea. so goodness knows what it'll be he is well trained so it'll probably be cereal.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/04/2010 16:25

Ummm, 8 ish I think Sazz.... I like Chris Evans, I think he might be annoyingly chirpy for some but he is just what I need at that time. And I love his love of Kids... I agree with the posts about child loving countries, if you are going to have DC's they need cherishing and nurturing, some med countries are like that as well...

Velvet is lush also... I love the juxtaposition between beautifully soft and rough....
I envy people with soft hair.. mine is like gorse

I feel odd. I am shaking which I used to do when my anaemia was bad, but apparently my bloods are pretty well normal now. And I feel spacey. I hope it isn't the onset of a migraine. I have had a lot on facial tingling.

DidEinsteinsMum · 13/04/2010 16:25

I was thinking did we ever reveal the secret santa or did it stay secret?

Lizzylou · 13/04/2010 16:26

Glad you have sorted your sweaty old man pit, Mycat

Well done on the cleaning of Sazztowers, Sazz, I have just scrubbed the kitchen, downstairs loo and utility room and think I need a break. I couldn't clean non-stop for 2.5hours (though heaven knows I need to), respect.

Can't believe you were on the radio, Mitts!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/04/2010 16:27

How's your wrist DEM? and hiya x.

Lizzylou · 13/04/2010 16:28

Mitts, have you any migraine medication in?
I find if I take Ibuprofen as soon as my eyes get blurry then it wards it off a bit.

Hope you are OK.

Has anyone seen/heard from Jet? Not seen her for a while.

DidEinsteinsMum · 13/04/2010 16:33

SHe was here a couple of days ago mid throws of decorating. I suspect she had been pasted under a nice piece of wall paper for the last few days. will consider releasing a search party if she doesnt turn up in a day or too.

Still a bit sore. just comletely wiped. CBA to do anything. Sorry but it sounds like a migrane to me. Is it normal for you pre migrain symptoms?

bellavita · 13/04/2010 16:33

Lizzy, was just thinking that about jet myself.

You have been on the radio Mitts?

Oooh well done on the cleaning Sazz.

MyCat, am so glad your armpit is sorted
