Shiney Cult - how do you eat yours?

1002 replies

TrillianAstra · 10/04/2010 16:03

Sparingly we hope - with plenty of fresh fruit and veg

Spring is in the air and we are still here, on our 62nd (?) thread for healthy eating, chat, and of course the cult mascot (what better to put you off your food?).

The aim of the game is to post a lot, eat slightly better than before, and enjoy life.

Awright Shiney .

Sorry you are illing MyCat.. I have never seen Ken Dodd really. I don't imagine he's my thing. I have a very black sense of humour.

I love the rain coat TC. Very verastile as well.. would look good with black jeans and boots, or dressed down with summer shorts and pumps... go for it.

Glad to hear you sounding up beat DEM... you can get writing that book now .

My 5 yr plan.
Next 6 months...stabilise finances.
Following six months.. get a little ahead with finances.

I have decided next 5 yrs is make or break for my Art. So, do everything to turn it around and after that an emergency career assessment as I am not planning on ironing much longer....

I think i don't like it because it is shapeless. I think very few people can get away with shapeless tbh

Alicetheinvisible · 12/04/2010 11:54

5yr plans just seem a bit depressing for me. It is ok if you have a certain goal, but it is likely i will still be a sahm. That is not a bad thing btw, as i would rather do it all in one go, but atm it just looks like endless nappies, tantrums and sleeplessness.

DidEinsteinsMum · 12/04/2010 12:00

Book?

...Nope, you might need to remind me mitts. Brain blank on that one.

Its cold, i have my dressing gown on. its fluffy.

TotalChaos · 12/04/2010 12:05

hmmm at least 3 negative gut reactions to the parka....not sure about the sleeves, I don't think they are permanently rolled up.

so is this one any better:-

or should I be aiming more for this:-

Coats are beyond me. dont wear them.

TC: first school run because ds started school the day i started uni and i havent been able to take him. Had one or two disasterous collections. but no school runs.

Bloody aresing credit cards! Just about to have a row with Sony (well, DH will later). Because I made a payment which was below the minimum by £2.15 they are saying that they are adding all the interest on and I now have to pay a huge amount.

Bollocks am I! I have not missed a payment and in fact over the past 4 months have over paid every month. If thye don't change it back I am moving cards.

I really need to phone them but it is actually in DH's name so he'll have to do it. He can do his gruff Scots voice (that'll be his natural one then).. that usually makes people change their minds.

Grrrr...!

MyCatIsABastard · 12/04/2010 12:15

Sorry Total, I'm with SAF on this, I'm a cardi woman . WOuld just like to add though that I tend to wear drapey type cardigans without buttons (have a rather nice gray one on now for Sainsbury's in fact).

Mits - you have missed nothing on the Ken Dodd front.

I do wear coats in teh winter though. Lots of them. Just in the summer I find myself all horribly sweaty and bundled up in them.

I do like that per Una one shiney. V much. I am currently v into blue for some reason (usually a red's and orange girl with liberal smatterings of black and white)

I like Shiney's M&S coat. Of Total's 3 I like the M&S one best.

Shiney - i used to have one similar to your stripey one, but it was cream with thin primary coloured stripes. Loved it.

Afternoon lads

Got a text back from the MW, said he is not looking for a relationship either and was sorry if he gave me the wrong impression, he just wants to be friends
