Aww, glad you had a good meet up Trills and Alice and at girly dancing clothes.

My niece was beautiful and girly at the weekend, and despite being the youngest, very definitely the boss over my two boys. Atta girl

So are you back for good, now SAF?

Lizzylou · 06/04/2010 15:25

SAF, my Mom was always trying fad diets, she has steadily lost weight over the last year or so, by walking more and eating healthier, she still drinks wine and has fab M&S food in her fridge, she just eats less now.
It has to sort of click I think, she was always so despondent if she didn't lose weight quickly and lost the impetus.

MyCatIsABastard · 06/04/2010 15:26

SAF, I have a v good friend who eats bucket loads but then cannot understand why she doesn't lose weight when she's been 'good, I only had 1cake and a bag of crisps for supper, I just can;t understand it'.... indeed!

I'm feeling chipper now cause I have finished the reports I needed to and only have a couple more things to do. Hurrah!

Right, off to go get the DC from nursery then pop on the bus to get car from garage (another sodding expense!).

Catch you all later.

jetcat · 06/04/2010 15:29

glad you two had fun alice and trills

Just a quickie, as mini appeared looking a bit sheepish in the sitting room (she had been unuasually quiet upstairs) and announced that all bedrooms now sparkled

I went upstairs, and realised she had found junior's secret stash of glitter and tipped it out sprinkled it everywhere like magic fairy dust

We now have glitter beds, glitter wardrobes, glitter rugs.....

DidEinsteinsMum · 06/04/2010 15:33

bet it looks like proper fairy dust

remember's ds glitter dusting of the dog....

Alicetheinvisible · 06/04/2010 15:37

Hello SAF

Mycat/Lizzy - my sister is a bit like that, always talking about someone she knows on this diet or other and how she is going to try it. She is not fat, just carrying extra baby weight that needs toning (10lb5 baby!) but she doesn't want any effort involved.

I want to get some support because i am getting some very painful ligament pain, mostly because i am probably doing too much. Mothercare had sold out of the belts today, and i can't find a pharmacy that sells the extra large tubey grip.

Lizzylou · 06/04/2010 15:41

OOh, Jet. A sparkly birthday fairy palace for you then?
Sorry, trying to look on the bright side!

Boys are making fish puppets out of paper plates and wooden bbq skewers. I am ignoring the mess...

DidEinsteinsMum · 06/04/2010 15:44

lizzy do you know where chester zoo have hidden their opening times on their website as can't find them or do you know what time they are open this week

Lizzylou · 06/04/2010 15:48

DEM, it says they are open 10am til 6pm
Here

We used to get there just before 10am and then you'd have a good hour crowd free.

DidEinsteinsMum · 06/04/2010 15:54

thank you, though goodness knows how i missed that. 8:30am start seems doable ish. just need to clear my car out first. so will head off and do that. tbh i just want to sulk and sleep. cant wait till 5:30pm tonight.

Alicetheinvisible · 06/04/2010 15:56

DD ballet pic on my FB now

Lizzylou · 06/04/2010 15:56

The zoo will sort you out, DEM.
I love Chester Zoo, even if there are loads of people there it never feels too crowded as it's massive.

Hope your day gets better.

DidEinsteinsMum · 06/04/2010 16:21

Lizzylou · 06/04/2010 16:46

Alice.
My DS's drive me to G&T's.

Alicetheinvisible · 06/04/2010 16:48

Can you be G without being T? Or vice versa?

DidEinsteinsMum · 06/04/2010 16:51

technically yes and they are very seperate things. you are g or t but very very rarely g and t.

i had one thread that got very very ugly. The shame being everything that i wanted to prevent has actaully happened. but hey ho. psycho child has gone quiet - i wonder what he has raided out of the kitchen
