CLaudia - i am just being lazy tbh. I am quiting teacher training so i can sort my son out. Who has major ishoos and whom i have come to resent because he has affected the training. something had to give. it was both so i had to choose. the boy won. It was a no brainer really. Just something i shoulld have done months ago.

Yay Five, lets lock it in for about 2012

And anyone else who fancies a life swap to Australia, you're very welcome. You may have to have my grumpy dh too though which may tarnish the appeal

DEM I am sorry to hear the teacher training didn't work out - can you pick it up again in a few years time? Will your son be more settled then? Or is it not worth thinking about yet? If it makes you feel any better I had an abortive go at teaching too - I did my training, qualified, did my 1st year then promptly moved to Australia where my qualification isn't valid - so that was 2 years of my life wasted (SCREAMS).

wastingaway · 05/04/2010 22:45

Hello again. I have finally finished knitting my merino wrist-warmers.
They're fab and I'm wearing them now.

Jet, I had a high bed as a teen and loved it. Only got rid as it didn't fit in my room when we moved. Though as she has problems with clumsiness (hope that's an ok thing to say) I would go for a lower one, as I was always slipping on the ladder. Ikea are so fab for storage solutions, that I'm sure you can work out how to fit a wardrobe in too.

DEM, sorry you've had to make a hard choice, it's never much fun. Will you be able to return to the training in the future?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 05/04/2010 22:45

2012 would be perfect

ClaudiaSchiffer · 05/04/2010 22:49

Hi Sazzles , I have lots of phone calls to make tonight - I can sit and chat for hours once the kids are in bed and no dh to cook for. Bliss.

Wasting - do you make cakes? I think I saw your name on another thread.

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/04/2010 22:52

Not for the currently forseeable future. And have some really tough emails to write too. I am going to have to let the school and tutor know. Then there is the ishoo of my fellow students. That might be the hardest email of all.

Thre would be no B&B booked

YanknCock · 05/04/2010 22:57

latest is we are booked for wednesday flight for an extra £436 the original flight was £707!!! DS puked a lot this morning, but then only a few times after, just little bits. Is weeing again and had some leaky poos so food is getting through. He wanted to be held all day so am shattered and smelly from being unshowered and pooed/puked on.

am sorry i am being so self centred atm, i just cannot catch up

am one handed now due to pumping the milk DS hasn't had....all i need now is for my supply to dry up!

hopefully can have a catch up session tomorrow in between packing

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/04/2010 22:58

I refuse to offer my live up for a swap ds would eat you lot for breakfast love him to bits but bloody hell can he chew you up and spit you out sometimes. And that is before he introduces you to his pets and hobbies... you'd need nerves of steel to survive. SO a holiday would become more like a boot camp of tourture and horrors. A proper test of character

ooooooooooooooooo Massive THUNDER and LIGHTENING storm here.

I'll swap with anyone Sazzles

DEM poor you, it's such a shame, get the emails written and then try to move on. Hopefully something will come up that you can manage alongside your ds?

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/04/2010 23:00

Yank - i hope things continue to be reducing on the puking front!

wastingaway · 05/04/2010 23:01

Claudia, yes, I've been baking cupcakes once a week since Christmas. Just for my own (and friends and family, ahem) pleasure though.

DEM, I'm sure they'll all understand.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 05/04/2010 23:02

Right you lot, have asked DEM to stay with wine, please help me to persuade her to take it up.

wastingaway · 05/04/2010 23:03

Yank, please don't worry about thinking about yourself right now!

Is he feeding on demand?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 05/04/2010 23:04

Yank, just concmtrat o you and DS don't worry about us on th thread.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 05/04/2010 23:07

Yank, it all sounds horrendous, I hope things settle down tonight and he's all better tomorrow. Am confused - are you on holiday now and flying home or about to fly off somewhere?

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/04/2010 23:07

is this power of the people in action five?
I cant make any decisions until i can contact ds' other chief carer who is currently on a trip where he is hurling himself done a mountain for fun and i wonder where ds gets his love of mad hobbies from .

Plus are you sure you know what you are letting yourself in for?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 05/04/2010 23:08

Absolutely.

DreamsInBinary · 05/04/2010 23:09

Oh god DEM, what a nightmare. I'm so sorry. I wish there was something I could say or do to help. Defiantly unMNetty hugs do?

Yank - sounds like you are also going through the mill. How upsetting that something so exciting has turned so stressful. Sounds like MiniYank is on the mend, though, so Wednesday should work.

Saxzz - exciting times, eh?

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/04/2010 23:11

DIB still keep them fingers crossed ah well at least all can be sorted properally. Positive words help i have a nasty habbit of dwelling. Hence why i think now is a good time to actually take the ads i was prescribed 2 weeks ago.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 05/04/2010 23:13

Eight bed time.
