Evening.

Happy Birthday Lizzie!

Yank hope DS has stopped being sick and you get to go on Sunday.

Shiney - I'm not sure whats going on as don't do facebook but am surmising it involves a man and some cottage cheese

Today have made carrot cake and Deliay's pork satay which was delicous although to see DS1's face you'd have thought it was poison . Cooking does get very dull sometimes.

Feeling fat today so back on straight and narrow tomorrow.

bellavita · 05/04/2010 18:41

Right honest opinions needed now girls..

I tend to bulk out my pasta/rice meals with either a huge salad or loads of veg and even if having a dish made up of salad I will have loads and same if having a roast - loads of veg.

I often feel bloated and this is the third week I haven't lost any weight and before you ask, yes I do have some to lose albeit only a few more pounds.

So, is the bloated feeling due to all the veg/salad I scoff? and do you reckon I just need to chill out over it and just have the main meal on my plate without all the extras?

Your wise words would be appreciated...

traceybath · 05/04/2010 18:46

Bella - I think that you're like me - pretty small anyway so your body is just clinging on to those last few pounds.

I'd totally avoid pasta/bread as it can cause bloating and just totally cut down on portion size. Salad is fine as long as its just leaves.

I'm guessing that like me you want to be a bit under what your body would comfortably sit at. Not underweight but just a bit less that your body would naturally be.

Does that make sense at all?
