Hello

I am bella and have about 7lb to lose now using ww.

OP posts:

oh dont worry re the bed situation, junior said to me this morning (when i explained it may be 3-4 weeks before i can get her a new one) "oh thats fine, i don't mind. I will sleep on it for a year" I sharp replied "err, no you won't" I am constantly checking ebay etc, but now that i have a freebie cheapo car (or soon will have), i can use my car savings at the credit union to get one, so will be fine

am thinking of swapping mini and junior's rooms over anyway, as she really wants a high sleeper, but as her room is a loft room, there is not much ceiling height for one. Just means she will have the smallest room (about 10ft sqaure) but with a high sleeper, she may be ok Plus, mini would love junior's room

sorry you have a similar ex defluff, sadly seems to be a common situation

nice to see you too shiney

at shiney

Why deny defluff - it was a lovely bath

Actually it was a lovely bath. At home the bathroom is next to DS's bedroom so any attempts at an evening bath will keep him awake. So I never have them (no I'm not stinky - I do shower!)....but oh what a luxury. I feel all woozy and relaxed.

hellsbelles · 03/04/2010 19:58

defluff - budge up, mitts is joining us

MitsubishiWarrioress · 03/04/2010 19:59

It is the village re-enactment of a historic event day and there are twits people walking around dressed like muppets in period dress.....

DreamsInBinary · 03/04/2010 20:02

Iggi

Three days to go...

jetcat · 03/04/2010 20:02

thanks mitts (love you too) and others for welcoming me back

BoF - she is a little star A cute and gorgeous star

well, after not knowing anything about him for over thirty years, i now have a photo of my birth father

Myfanjoisdefluffed · 03/04/2010 20:02

well this won't come as any surprise to those i bathed with but it certainly came as a surprise to me....

i errr, defluffed fully as it were and a round mole that I've had all my life has weirdly mutated into the playbunny shape. Right on my bits. Actually if anyone ever saw it [apart from hells and mitts] they'd think I'd had a rather 'tasteful' tattoo done. nice. ABetaDad wouldn't even recognise me!!

the wonders of pregnancy eh?

jetcat · 03/04/2010 20:03

ooh mitts, i would so love to take part watch one of those

SlinkyGoober · 03/04/2010 20:04

Watching Dr Who now on Sky +.

hellsbelles · 03/04/2010 20:06

Iggi! Shall we all wear our fascinators as we MN on your big day?

Jet - that must be really weird for you. Can you see any familiarity in his face?

Myfanjoisdefluffed · 03/04/2010 20:06

bloody hell Jet, that's exciting! Don't know backstory but will you be able to have contact or meet up at all?

My dear friend just found her birth father after 30odd years, they talked on skype for ages then met up a month ago, went very well.

Lizzylou · 03/04/2010 20:08

This thread has gone surreal

Loving the Playboy Bunny tatt on...mo. I won't rhyme, on your Lady parts (see, I am a Lady)

Jet, How exciting, wow. Will you contact him now?

Mitts, I re-enact the Civil war. I am a Cavalier/Royalist wench. How very dare you!

jetcat · 03/04/2010 20:08

very weird hells, and no familiarity at all. There is some question over whether he is my father, as he is not on my birth certificate, and social services were never actually too sure, but there is also a photo there of his daughter, and yup - we do look similar Its like looking at a pic of me if and when i get slim

Lizzylou · 03/04/2010 20:09

Is it really only 3 days to go, Iggi?

How fab

hellsbelles · 03/04/2010 20:12

oh jet - I can't imagine how that feels. Exciting, scary, weird, sad, happy??!! Everything I guess. Did you know he had another daughter. I assume the fact she is so similar to you is pretty compelling evidence that they did get the right chap? Have they told you anything more about him other than just showing you the picture?

And the fact that they can show you that means he's given permission I guess?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 03/04/2010 20:13

.. as I typed that, I thought...someone will be into it..

Are you a Morris Dancer as well by any chance? We have some amazing ones around here.. If you follow them from pub to pub as you do with children, they get more and more entertaining, especially the modern ones.

BitOfFun · 03/04/2010 20:13

How amazing, Jet!

Defluff- shall I be a party-pooper and remind you that any mole that changes shape should be closely examined by a doctor?

jetcat · 03/04/2010 20:13

very shortened version of backstory:

he was 23, birth mum was 18. She had one kid when she met him (who went to live with grandma) one kid with him (lived with auntie) then me and two more - one a year for 5 years. Inbewteen visits to borstal etc.

aged 3 and 4, sister and i were made wards of court, and placed with foster parents. That is the last time i ever had contact with him, as he did a runner.

Given that i have had 5 attempts at family life (none of which worked), i am in no hurry to contact him. Sister on the other hand, has already planned major family reunuins She sent me the email with the pictures on, and she is under strict instructions not to pass on any of my details.

Lizzylou · 03/04/2010 20:14

DH is a Coconutter, Mitts.

I prefer him in his Cavalier get up to be honest. Less make up.
