New thread, same old plan.

We are a bunch of varying-in-size ladies (with the occassional male visitor) who all want to eat more healthily. We include those who want to lose 50 lbs, those who have already lost 50 lbs, those with only a little to lose, and some who just like to chat.

Come, post lots, and you will get encouragement, sympathy, and ass-kicking as necessary

Thought I was gonna get a slap for that.

I am 37 just so's you know!

And Bella, you didn't bore me last night ackshully! I had to do the packed lunches and pull a chicken apart.

NormaSknockers · 29/03/2010 12:37

I neeeeeeeed ideas for lunch - anyone?

SlinkyGoober · 29/03/2010 12:38

Food?

MyCatIsABastard · 29/03/2010 12:38

shiney I have found that my DC like to expel their illnesses out of every orifice all at the same time and usually all over me. DS was sick on Friday night/Sat morning and I yelled at DH to get a towel before he was sick on me again and the stupid pillock spent time trying to decide on which bloody towel. Who gives a shit! Just pass me the sodding thing before I am barfed on again.. too late, covered in puke again!

Norma, with you on the lavender, I shall have a faint whiff of chanel and sherry about me at all times when old!

NormaSknockers · 29/03/2010 12:39

Thanks Goober I was thinking dust but food would be the better option

MyCatIsABastard · 29/03/2010 12:39

I'm having beans on toast for lunch with DS.

MyCatIsABastard · 29/03/2010 12:40

dust has less calories

bellavita · 29/03/2010 12:40

Oh dear... do I have you worried now Shiney

No, what I mean was, you will see me in person and realise that I am not lithe! >

Goober - thank god for that!

NormaSknockers · 29/03/2010 12:40

Norma - I have had a rocket salad with cherry toms, cucumber, grated carrot, tuna, quartered boiled egg (yum) and a generous helping of salad cream. Oh and a slice of some gorgeous olive bread left over from Saturday. Tis very moreish.

SlinkyGoober · 29/03/2010 12:42

NormaSknockers · 29/03/2010 12:45

I'm thinking cheese (low fat of course) & onion on toast....

SlinkyGoober · 29/03/2010 12:46

Get a room!

MyCatIsABastard · 29/03/2010 12:47

Beanus's on toasticles? Is that the latin for it? I may not have the toasticles now though .

Sazz, I'm ignoring the great growling monster that is the washing pile. In much the same way that I am ignoring it's closely related cousin, the ironing pile. Horrible bloody things

DS has just woken up so I suppose I'd better go do some parenting.

Catch you all later

bellavita · 29/03/2010 12:48

Goober - the boys had linguine pescatore last night when we went out. DS2's had some squid tentacles in his. He said "oh I have got some testacles in mine Dad". They were of a decent size and he tried to bite them when he dangled them from his fork without much success and instead of putting them back down in his dish and cutting them, he just shoved the whole lot in his mouth, took two chews, opened his mouth and said gone! I told him he wasn't on Celeb Get Me Outta Here eating creepy crawlies.

NormaSknockers · 29/03/2010 12:48

DS is dancing to 'Bootylicious' whilst eating a chocolate biscuit - tis highly amusing!

SlinkyGoober · 29/03/2010 12:48

No not latin.
