Welcom, welcome to the mumblemumble well, some large number thread for the healthy eating crew.

Shiney is our leader, but all creeds are welcome here, from the -50lbs club (whoop whoop!) to those who would like to lose 50lbs, to those who would fade awya if they lost 50lbs and just want to eat more healthily and/or chat about cock.

FAnny - sorry missed your post about the phone-in.

Cat - poor DS. Typically I bet everyone will be in perfect health by the time DH gets back and he'll say something annoying like 'I don't know what all the fuss is about '

Alice will check out who is annoying you! I really like the shape of that top and yes it'll go very well with pink

Lizzy - sounds like a really happy day

Vinny - safe journey and ENJOY your time at the Lakes.

TrillianAstra · 04/03/2010 13:11

Lovely top Alice.

Busy busy this morning, with bits in between of waiting for people to give me data, then frantic again. Fun.

just remembered - vinny sent me a gap VIP thing a while back which gives you 30% discount every so often. I've just got my email (for next week) and also can send it onto 5 friends to join. Anyone have use for it? Let me know and we'll sort it out through FB.

Alicetheinvisible · 04/03/2010 14:26

Has anyone seen this? Dh told me about it, it starts off slow but it is pretty amazing. Sand artist, apparently won Ukraines Got Talent.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/03/2010 14:47

Oh my Alice, that is extraordinary and compelling watching.....

hells, I am quite stubborn and persistant, do like a good 'sorting-out' of a problem. This is why I hate my current workplace. It is all faffing about having agenda-free meetings...waste of time for all involved. How is your DD now?

VT, your workplace sounds 'dysfunctional' in the same way mine is--senior management are knobs. Enjoy the lakes, hope you feel better (but still think you need to go to the docs!)

bella, that is so great about the bike being found!

Re cakes, haven't baked one in years, and even then it was always a Betty crocker mix I save what little skill I have for the savoury stuff.

Fleecy, hope your dad is ok today.

MyCat, how's the ear?

Wasting, I very nearly went to a WI meeting around here just out of nosy curiosity. I can't bake or sew or knit, and I don't iron. I'd probably be barred or something!

DIB, happy birthday! Saw your comment about me booking Shiney's plumber...no thanks, I like my arse how it is!

Fanny, what a brilliant answer on the radio!

Lizzy, couldn't see that thread, must have been deleted. Could see what the title was though, I'm sure it got loads of complaints! Yay for MrsWobble though! And happy birthday to Lizzy's DS!

Sazz, exact same problem with bins here, except on a Tuesday

iggi999 · 04/03/2010 15:57

Just checking in to say hello. Will read up on all your goings-on tonight. Must get DS up from his nap (can it be 4pm? Will he ever sleep tonight??)

traceybath · 04/03/2010 16:21

Bella - glad you found the bike.

Fleecy - hope your Dad's op went well.

Yank - when do you start back at work? Fingers crossed your nasty boss gets a new job somewhere else.

Right - in the last few days I've been told I look like a different person as haircut/weight loss/not pregnant and then followed up with - you look 16/21 etc. Do you think they mean I'm dressing too muttony - you know my new look biker jacket is maybe a step too far and I should go into White Stuff for a tunic??

Bella - h&m had a lovely kaftany type thing today - purple or black and £10 in the sale - ideal for poolside wafting/glamour.

Oh, I like yours better, Sazz

Shall I save mine and we can use it for the next one? I can always report and get it deleted.

We'll go with yours then, and I shall save my efforts for another day.

TrillianAstra · 04/03/2010 17:35

Haha at Shiney the shining example. Surely Sazz and Jet and the other -50 club members are better examples

YanknCock · 04/03/2010 18:38

Are we finishing up this thread then?

Shall I sing some of the songs I learned at Rhyme Time?

Polly put the kettle on, Polly put the kettle on, Polly put the kettle on, we'll all have tea...... someone take it off again...

Most of the songs are new to me or have different tunes or words!

NormaSknockers · 04/03/2010 20:08

Oh balls, I go out for the day & we have a new thread

TrillianAstra · 04/03/2010 21:16

YOu could teach them some US rhymes Yank

OP posts:
YanknCock · 04/03/2010 21:43

Trills, that is what the teacher/leader lady suggested

Trouble is I can't actually remember any U.S. ones!

OH THE GRAND OLD DUKE OF YORK....HE HAD TEN THOUSAND MEN....HE MARCHED THEM UP TO THE TOP OF THE HILL, AND HE MARCHED THEM DOWN AGAIN!!!

TrillianAstra · 05/03/2010 09:26

And when they were up they were up...
